Its been just over a month. The players of SAO managed to find the boss room. The game has almost 1000 less players. About a month ago, Kirito found the boss room. The next day, he and Diabel arranged a meeting, calling the top players of SAO. Even though a month has passed. No one has made it passed the first floor.

November 11th 11:15 2022

"Alright!" A tall blue haired knight who seemed to be an experienced fighter, grabbed everyones attention. There were about 50 people in the meeting. "I am Diabel! And the role I played as was knight!" Diabel stated. He left the swordsman laughing.

"There is no role in the game dude!" One of the men said.

"Alright alright!" Diabel sighed. "Anyway heres the deal. Yesterday a solo player named Kirito found the bosses room." Diabel explained as Kirito walked up to Diabel.

"Yesterday I checked the boss room.." Kirito started

November 10th 14:32 2022
"Ha!" Kirito yelled as he struck down a skeleton in a dungeon like place. "The bosses room should be around here!" Kirito thought as he kept running.

"There it is..." He talked to himself. "The bosses room... I gotta tell someone.. Maybe the elite player, Diabel.." Kirito thought as he went on his ranking and called the third best player, Diabel.

"Hello? You're the second best player right Kirito?! This is a pleasure! What do you need me for?" Diabel asked Kirito.

"I got news for you Diabel. We need a meeting with all the top players of SAO. You can arrange meetings as you've done it before. Anyway here is the deal. I found the bosses room." Kirito explained.

"I understand.. Well this meeting will start tomorrow midday, do you think you can make it?" Diabel asked.

"Yes." Kirito replied. Kirito ended the call as he opened the doors. "Its always nice to check what kind of boss we're up against." Kirito though. He entered the room, accidentally triggering the boss battle. Suddenly a huge red monster which a huge axe and shield jumped towards Kirito. It swung its Axe. Kirito barely lived as he charged a skill to perry the bosses attack. Kirito spun and slashed against its belly. "Crap its defense and hp is ridiculous!" Kirito thought as he quickly used a teleport crystal.

November 11th 11:17 2022
"So its defense and its health is quite high. Its going to be tough." Kirito finished.

"Wait if you could easily parry his attack then why couldnt you take him on alone?!" One of the swordsman pointed out.

"Do you think I'd risk my life like that? First of all I was against 4 opponents, one of them being a boss and the other 3 being strong monsters. They were about level 14, and the boss was about level 17. There is no way I can do it alone." Kirito answered in detail.

"Thats right. We are having this meeting to tell you top players to help us! Even though Heathcliff didnt make it, we should be able to stand strong!" Diabel told the audience.

"..." Stella and Asuna stayed silent as the crowd started clapping. "So thats Kirito?" Asuna asked.

"Thats him. I trained with him at the start. Its suprising that he has already reach level 15." Stella stated.

"Its not that suprising, you were knocked out for three days. And he hasnt had much sleep. My question is why Heathcliff can stay in his levels." Asuna thought.

"Asuna?" Stella asked as Asuna quickly snapped back to reality.

"Oh right." Asuna replied.

"Heres the plan. We all need to team up, a maximum of six players! We need to build a raid so we can defeat the boss!" Diabel stated.

"We are fine as we are right?" Asuna asked.

"Well.. We could have Kirito in our party. What do you think?" Stella asked.

"Maybe." Asuna answered.

"Hey Kirito! Do you mind if we teamed up?" Stella asked outloud, grabbing everyones attention.

"Sure thing, lets meet after this meeting." Kirito replied.

"Now, from the books we have recieved from the beta testers, we should be able to look upon some information about the next boss.." Diabel stated as he grabbed his book. Diabel explained everything about Ilfang. He explained the plan and how everyone is going to play their part..

After a week of preparation..

Stella's POV

"Alright!" Diabel stabbed his sword to the ground, grabbing everyones attention. "We now have made it to the bosses room. Be prepared men. Now, lets beat this game!" Diabel grabbed his sword and shield and opened the doors.

"We got this guys." Kirito told Asuna and I.

"Alright." I inhaled deeply. The pressure was overwhelming. As I exhale, all the men shouted as they aall charged in. We ran in, recklessly without realizing the power of the boss. And so the boss destroyed the raid party. Leaving only a few alive, I, Diabel, Kirito and Asuna survived along with no more than 10 more people survived that fight. And ever since. We grinded up to the point where we will be able to hold our own against this boss..

December 7th 12:15 2022

"This time for sure!" Kirito yelled as he opened the doors. There was the boss, standing on its two feet. The same boss that swept through us. This time, we'll sweep it up like a janitor.

"Let's go Stella!" Asuna yelled. She followed Kirito along with the other men that battled. I followed Asuna. This time with my abilities, I should be able to defeat this boss more easily.

After a bit of time, we all chipped away the bosses hp, slowly and slowly until finally it was at its last bar.

"Alright! We're almost there!" Kirito stated as he blocked the minions attack, switching with Asuna, making her attack the minion. The minion disappeared..

"Alright guys! Leave this to me! I'll defeat it with this move!" Diabel yelled as he charged his sword attack. Ilfang suddenly threw his weapons to the side, drawing a long sword.

Kirito panicked. "Shit! Diabel get back! That sword is an odachi! Not a talwar!" He yelled at Diabel. Diabel turned to look at Kirito, leaving him open. And out of nowhere, he was struck.

"Crap!" Diabel cried as he was launched across the room. Without hesitation, I ran towards the boss to hold it off whilst Kirito helped out Diabel.

"C'mon you big fucker!" I yelled out as Ilfang swung it's sword. I easily blocked it because of my ability Agressor.

"Lets go!" I yelled as my sword grew larger. I activated my Steel Cutter ability. I quickly leaped towards the boss and swung my sword. And in an instant, I lit the whole room with enemy damaging blue fire.

Kirito's POV

"What was that..?" I asked as I look around the room. Blue flames were everywhere but they didn't do any damage to me. "Is that an only enemy damaging move..?" I asked. I turned towards Diabel noticing a minion running up to him. However, the minion died on the way. "Diabel what were you thinking?" I asked as I ran up to Diabel. Diabel looked at my eyes.

"Kirito. I cant keep fighting like this. These people need someone strong like you not me." Diabel stated.

"No Diabel. Take this." I stated as I gave him a hp restoring potion.

"No. Kirito, you lead them. You need to beat this boss. This is for everyones sake." Diabel exhaled as he disappeared. Not once did I ever stop to think about how it would feel to lose someone close in this world. I've only been thinking of survival.. I'll defeat this boss for you Diabel.

"Kirito I cant hold off this boss much more longer!" Stell cried out as the blue flames disappeared. She blocked Ilfangs sword, but Ilfang reacted quickly, attacking Stella's belly.

"Stella!" I called out to her.

"I'm alright! Just help out!" Stella told me. Asuna came to me randomly.

"We'll take out the boss just as we did with the minions." Asuna told me. I nodded and ran towards the boss which was about to attack Stella. We weren't going to make it...

"Yargh!" A voice yelled out. A tall man hammered Ilfangs sword, knocking Ilfang far back.

"We'll hold this bastard off! Take this time to heal!" The man yelled. That was a smart move. If we gone at the boss with out health sitting at just under 60% then one swing of that bosses sword would kill us instantly just like it did with Diabel.

The tall man along with a couple more men continuously attacked the boss, but the boss jumped.

"Crap! Get back!" I yelled as I jumped at the boss. "You're mine!" I shouted as I swung my sword at Ilfang, dropping him to the ground.

"C'mon Asuna! Lets beat this sucker!" I yelled. I quickly knocked Ilfangs sword. Asuna switched in and repeatedly stabbed at him. Ilfang opened its eyes and swung its sword.

"Asuna!" I yelled. Ilfang barely missed her, but her face was revealed. She is beautiful. Within seconds, I ran towards Ilfang. "I got you!" I yelled as I swung my sword at Ilfangs body, making his body split in half.

Congratulations!!!

Everyone cheered as they all got exp and money. We finally beat the boss.

"Good one Kirito." Stella told me.

"Without you, this girl and everyone would have died. I'm Agil" The talled guy stated.

"No.." I replied modestly. Suddenly everyone cheered more. I turned back to look at my stats. I got a level and I also got an item. The overcoat of midnight.

"Stop cheering!" A voice shouted. Everyone looked at the person who said that. It was Kibaou. He was one of Diabel's party members. "Why did you let Diabel die?" Kibaou asked. Suddenly everyone started muttering. "You knew the bosses attack pattern! Why didn't you tell us before?!" Kibaou cried. The muttering grew and grew until.

"I know! he used to be a beta tester! He knew but didn't tell us!" One of his other members yelled. "And I bet he's not the only beta tester! There has to be more! C'mon show yourselves!"

Stella's POV
The whole room was filled with muttering because of Kirito. Although he saved our lives. I'm grateful for him but everyone else has differen views.

"Hey calm down.." Agil told Kibaou.. Suddenly I heared a voice laughing. The room was brought to dead silence.

"How rude is it to compare me with those noobs." Kirito stood up. Everyone seemed to be trembling. Did they fear him? "It's true that I was a beta testers, but they were beginners. They were noobs who didn't even know how to level. But me, I'm in a different level." Kirito stated as he walked towards the centre of the room. Everyone had shocked expressions on their faces. "I made it to the floors higher than anyone in the beta. I also know every bosses attack pattern. I know a whole lot more than that. More than you can ever imagine. More than any info broker." Kirito explained. Everyone was silent for a bit until.

"If that's true then you're worse than a beta tester! You're a god damn cheater!" Kibaou yelled. Everyone was yelling.

"You're a beta tester and a cheater! You're a beater!" One of the voices yelled.

"A beater huh? I like it." Kirito smirked. Something seemed off. Everyone was suddenly silent.

"All right then. You can call me a beater. Just don't get me confused with those beta testers." Kirito smiled as he equipped his black trench coat. "Hmph." Kirito smirked as he walked off. I quickly ran towards him.

"Kirito. Why'd you lie to them?" I asked him.

"It's for the greater good." Kirito answered silently as he opened the doors leading to the next floor. He slowly walked away as he disbanded the party.
