I have suspicion to believe that James Potter knows something about the event that led to Sirius Black's arrest. Gathering information that he once collected, information that endangers our mission and anonymity.

I fear that the truth will eventually be discovered with this information in hands of someone who knows Sirius Black and myself and therefor eventually, I'll be exposed as alive and no longer be able to serve as your fly on the wall to gather information. He knows I can transform into a Rat and with the right information, he'll figure it out the same was Sirius Black did.

We have our cover imprisoned. My death staying dead serves our purpose well, my lord. I can be in all of the rooms you desire without being identified if it stays this way.

I know I'm in no position to ask requests. I only plead the Potters memory is erased and nothing more drastic. Their memory of all of us as friends is the only thing that is at harm to us. They are not dangerous wizards.

*The letter holding the information leaked by Peter Pettigrew, that resulted in the death of Lily and James Potter.

This letter resulted in the eventual reveal of the Potter's address and murder from the dark lord, merely months after the death of Marlene McKinnon (who's family was also eventually hunted down, years later, for trying to investigate into things where the ministry wouldn't for their deceased daughter after finding out she had been suspicious of death eater involvement.) and after the death of Artemis Black. The two young women being buried next to each other with the accompaniment an empty grave for the *missing, described as partly disintegrated body of  Peter Pettigrew* in the same same cemetery as Lily and James Potter...first dirt covering and flower laid by Remus John Lupin before his disappearance from the village.

Over a decade later once Peter Pettigrew was exposed as alive, the secret of his death even being withheld from some of the death eaters themselves until the escape of Sirius Black - Narcissa Malfoy purchased the empty plot next to her sister for the day that her cousin, Sirius would lay next to her. Finally finding out the truth. For her Sister had be right all along.

James, Lily, Marlene, Artemis and Sirius were all buried in the same graveyard as of the end of the golden era. Remus was eventually buried amongst war hero's at another location and inspired a revival and reconstruction of the werewolf identification system due to his participation in the war against the dark lord. On his tomb stone, the words "loved by the goddess of the moon and the shapeshifters that share her blessed' blood." Are engraved.
