"Sold! To the woman in red! Please exit the room to pick up your shapeshifter in the floor above," the announcer exclaimed.

He was too good at his job. His loud voice woke everyone who fell asleep but kept everyone from ever falling asleep. Who could possibly fall asleep at a time like that? Black market biddings for shapeshifters were the highlight of everyone's month.

"Next, we have a little, little kitten," the announcer said in a high-pitched voice as a woman in a cage showed up next to him. "She goes by the name of Jae and she's 19-years-old—human years, of course!" The announced laughed, scattered laughter emitting from the audience. "She's been with us for eleven years now and she's very good at following orders if you know what I mean." The announcer winked. "Beware, because she can be a crier, but if you're into that sort of stuff, then go for it! Now, before we start the bidding—because I see some eager faces—let me name off a few more facts."

Taehyung leaned forward in his black suit, his suit wrinkling from the top. Taehyung always loved felines as a child. He always wanted a cat and a lion, but his parents always said no. They said he would never have time to take care of it because of his boarding schools.

"She's a common cat. You know, the common black and silky fur that you always see. Her eyes are a mix of blue and brown in both eyes, so be careful to not get lost in them! She has a good body and has been living off of grains and a pound of meat once a week, along with water. She makes a lot of noise in bed, but she's quiet out of that. Now, we can start the bidding at 5,000,000!"

Many fans went up once the announcer said she made a lot of noise.

"Fan 37 has a bid—okay, fan 12 has a bid for 5,500,000—fan 70 has a bid for 7,000,000!"

"10,000,000 won!" Taehyung shouted, his fan raised midair.

"Fan 43 has a bid off 10,000,000 won!"

"12,000,000 won!" another man shouted out.

Taehyung turned to his side and gave a stone cold look to the man, who returned a smirk. Taehyung clicked his tongue and put down his fan to fix the tie on his suit.

The man thought he won and opened his mouth to celebrate, but Taehyung caught his victory off.

"30,000,000 won," Taehyung calmly said.

The announcer looked around the room for any opposers. He slammed his hand on the podium. "Sold to the handsome man in the front! Please exit the room to pick up your shapeshifter on the floor above!"
