now here is something i absolutely do not think is needed . before i begin , when i say differing opinions i do not mean racist opinions . i mean differing opinions on how the situation is progressing .

i've been told to keep my mouth shut on these issues purely because i am not black . however , obviously i didn't listen to this person because this book is a thing  ( if a person who is not coloured cannot speak their own opinion then how do you expect someone to speak up about it ? ) .

i want to say that people , when they say they don't want violence - THEY AREN'T ON ABOUT STRICTLY THE RIOTERS ( rioters are different to protestors in my eyes anyways ) . we are also on about the violence the police are using too .

let me explain this as someone who is anti - violence . i've said it before , i will say it again . being against violence and understanding it are two different things . we understand why it is happening .

everyone will have different opinions .

people being against violence AREN'T bad people .

i have seen so much hatred  ( i will not name any names people have messaged / posted to other people and had groups of people attacking someone for saying one thing they disagreed with ) and you know what ?

i do understand people are angry but just stop . what the hell is ganging up on someone going to do ? is the aim there to spread hatred and make everyone feel as bad as possible because they disagree and misunderstand things ?

if someone doesn't understand , take your time . EXPLAIN . if they are incorrect about something , correct them politely .

you don't need to attack them because of it . everyone is human and everyone does make mistakes . to be honest some people are being cruel for the sake of being cruel . getting multiple people to attack and upset someone else is nasty . i don't care what the excuse is , there's honestly no reason for it .

you could easily privately message them and resolve an issue that way . no need to get others involved . hatred doesn't fix anything and it only adds fuel to the flames .

i repeat this is purely for CERTAIN differing opinions .

if someone's view is racist , then yes , i do understand being angry . do i still think there are alternative ways to handling it ? yes . i am very anti conflict , so to be honest i would just hit the report button ( of course you know if it's report worthy or not ) and mute them and encourage others to do the same .
