EVERYTHING WAS FINE
to the small Gray family that lived a quaint and simple life in their humble apartment. It was a life led by happiness and charity with their family motto being "Negative thoughts are only a shadow wishing to be positive." They lived by this command almost as if Grandma Gray was there to embrace it herself rather than pass it down to her son.

The family of three was small, yes, but that was all they needed. With two beautiful little girls and a father who dedicated his life to see a smile always on his girls' lips, they were the picture perfect family, even if they were missing a dear mother that passed away shortly after the birth of the youngest girl.

But even still, they were complete. No matter the time or place they could laugh over a silly joke their father said, or even cry at a sad movie playing on the screen.

But like all movies, all it takes is one blip in the world to crash all hopes and all dreams and all spirits. It was this that abruptly halted the fantastic life of the Gray household. It was this that made coming home to what used to be a welcoming abode a travesty that made Paxton wish she could stay away from. It was this that made Paxton Gray loathe the ruthless, conniving, inconsiderate Spider-Boy ten times more than the sickness that killed her mother. The actions of Spider-Man took away something from the Gray family piece by piece until the only thing left was skin and bone with fragments of happiness shining through.

Spider-Man ruined the Gray family, and she was going to repay the gift he had granted her if it was the last thing she ever did.

It was time for Spider-Man to meet his match.

And the result would be as Black as night.
