Part 65

Sean arched back against the floor. His skin felt like it was tingling all over. There was a growing fire in his veins that he had never felt before. Was it a full moon tonight? Wasn't it still daylight? If it was an upcoming full moon, than it would certainly explain his primal urges and increasing pheromones that were clearly affecting Mark. However, the tingling fire in his veins seemed to be something else. It clouded his mind like a fog and gave him a strong urge to fight back. Mark took his wrists, pinning them up over his head as his other hand held onto his throat firmly to keep him in the kiss. Sean thought Mark's grip was a bit tight... Yet, he found that he didn't care all that much. Baring his teeth, Sean hissed out to Mark in a strained dark voice. "Mark... Something's wrong... Where's Nate?" Mark brushed his lips over Sean's, grunting out seriously. "Don't care. His loss." Sean groaned into Mark's demanding kiss. He didn't want to hurt Mark, but even his own body wasn't acting right. He felt like his head was spinning in a whirlpool.

Afraid that he was losing himself, he focused on misting himself like Nate had taught him. He had to clear the air in order to clear his head. Misting himself had worked just enough to feel like he had sat up from a thick humid fog. Revealing to him that the cabin itself had a thin fog rolling across the floor that he hadn't noticed. When had that fog rolled in? Watching a dim purple static flicker in it, Sean struggled beneath Mark, breaking the kiss to snap out. "Mark! Focus! Nate's in trouble!" Mark kept him firmly pinned down, lifting his head to suddenly show that his eyes were completely black. Sean felt the fog starting to seep back into his system. Fear was setting in. Apologizing, He brought his knee up into Mark's balls. Mark fell into a bow with a loud groan, releasing him reluctantly. Stiffly Sean rolled to his side, trying to mist himself more but it was harder now. Something was happening to Nate and it was affecting him through their paramour connection. Sean staggered to the door, falling to his knees as a wave of pain in his jaw brought him to his knees.

The pain had been far worse than anything physical. As he tried to recover, he put a hand on the door and listened to the sound of soft distant humming. The sound was eerily familiar. He'd heard it before. The Siren Queen. What was he doing to Nate?! Sean forced himself to grab the doorknob and cursed the fact that it was locked. Grabbing the lock, he froze as a sword moved slowly over his shoulder to nestle inches from his throat. Sean licked his dry lips, carefully looking over his shoulder to try reasoning with Mark... only to freeze as Mark leaned in so confidently to claim his lips in an almost tender kiss. Sean whimpered slightly as the fog relaxed his muscles and practically made his body lean back into Mark. Mark's hand curled around Sean's chest to grab his throat. Holding Sean by his throat, Mark lower his sword and carefully pulled Sean up to his feet without breaking their heated kiss. Once Sean was standing upright, Mark slammed him up against the door and began biting Sean's bare shoulder possessively.

Sean's nails grew out to claw the door as Mark's teeth caused moans to escape his throat. Across the backs of his shoulders, Mark panted out with blind desire. "Sean... Don't leave me... I need you." A shiver ran down Sean's spine as he breathlessly, uttered out. "Mark... I know it's hard to fight the moon's power... but we're in danger..." Mark's tongue licked up his spine, making Sean quiver with increasing need. At the back of his neck, Mark playfully licked him again before purring out in a deep buttery voice. "Nate's a big boy... he can take care of himself." Sean shook his head but could feel the mist tingling his toes as it crept more and more from beneath the door. Nate's fog wasn't just affecting him on the outside. Something was playing with Nate on the inside and he could feel it through their connection in lusty bursts. Was the Siren Queen seducing Nate mentally through a powerful illusion?! How was that even possible? Nate had taught HIM how to counter Sirens. How could one get their hooks into him this emotionally deep. Unless...

Sean yelped loudly from both Mark striking his ass and the sudden realization that sprang to mind. Was the Siren Queen connected to Nate?  Was he one of Nate's paramours?! Was that why he was here during a possible full moon cycle? Was he here to mate with Nathan! For a split second, Sean wondered if stabbing Nate had hurt the Siren Queen... Which in turn, caused him to flee that day. It suddenly made sense. The Siren Queen knew he couldn't hurt him... or he'd feel it through Nate's connection with him! Sean banged his fist on the door, growling out angrily. "Son of a-" Sean didn't get to finish his thought, because Mark snatched his arm and flung him away from the door. The force sent Sean across the room to stagger into the Captain's desk. Sean huffed from the impact, groaning in slight pain from the way his sensitive lower half hit the stupid thing. Backing up a step or two, Sean started to straighten up, only to have Mark grab the back of his neck and shove him back down over the desk. Behind him, Mark grinded his hips against him, pleading out by his ear. "Sean... I can't control it... It burns..."

Sean bit his lower lip, feeling that same fire burning in his veins. He had thought that was Nate... but was that Mark? Sean mentally wanted to throw in the towel as he muttered out. "Oh gods... This link sucks... I can't even feel my own emotions over you two! Fucking hell!" Sean looked over his shoulder to see Mark's face shimmer with grey scales for a brief moment, before his skin rippled back to normal. Sean's heart skipped a beat. Mark's amulet was glowing and working hard to suppress his transformation. Mark's body must have been stuck between the powerful pull of an upcoming full moon and his human desire to fall victim to Sean's pheromones. Mark's grip on the back of his neck tightened for a second, before his free hand went absently to the amulet. Sean panicked. If Mark removed the amulet... There was no going back! In his panic, Sean stomped his heel on the top of Mark's boot. Mark winced, his hand leaving the amulet to grab Sean's hip in a painful grip as he yelled out angrily. "STOP HITTING ME! Or I'm going to start hitting you back... Got it?!"

Sean's mind sank into a well of mixed emotions from both Nate and Mark, causing him to chuckle back over his shoulder. "What? I thought you liked it rough?" Mark's hand left Sean's neck, trailing down his back as he growled out. "I'm used to it being rough... You're not. But give me the chance and I'll tear your innocent ass apart." Sean rose up on his elbows, calmly saying over his shoulder. "I'm dating two pirates... I don't think I'm that innocent. Besides... I'd rather it be done by one of you... And not someone else." Sean inhaled slowly, tilting his head back as Mark's hand slid down his ass to the back of his thigh. Mark's leg wedged between his legs, his boot tapping Sean's ankles until he spread his legs wider. Mark then leaned down over him to kiss his back and Sean jerked in shock. For a moment, he wasn't in the cabin with Mark anymore... He was now in a beautiful treasure room, decorated in colorful silks with a crystal clear waterfall fountain in the corner. He was leaning over an unfamiliar white four poster bed, when he noticed that beside him in the same position was Nate! Nate quivered next to him as a pirate he didn't recognize kissed Nate's back in a similar fashion to the way in which Mark had been kissing him.

Nate locked teary red eyes with him, looking desperate and scared. Was Nate being raped?! Nate slid his hands over the sheets toward him, practically screaming out. "GET MY RING!" Sean reached out to take Nate's hand, only to watch him get dragged away from his reach before they could touch. Nate's ear-splitting scream was so loud that Sean snapped out of whatever that was and toppled backward into Mark. Mark had not expected it and fell back on his ass, catching Sean in his lap as he winced and muttered out under his breath. "What the fuck was that all about?!" Sean panted heavily, his eyes going straight to the door. All the cracks of the door were suddenly highlighted in an eerie purple light. While the low fog in the room seemed to be turning from lust inducing to a heavy static feeling. Sean barely uttered out Nate's name to Mark as his answer, before the door burst off its hinges in a flash of firey purple lightening. Mark was the only one to react in time. Tightening his grip around his waist, he rolled him out of the way as the door blew by them. Nate stepped casually into the doorway, his eyes a solid blazing purple with black veins spreading out from them. Sparks even snapped off Nate's fingertips like the striking of a flint and steel.

Mark protectively braced himself over Sean on all fours, snapping out bitterly. "Nate, what the fuck are you doing?!" Nate tilted his head almost mockingly, telling them calmly. "What do you mean? You locked ME out to have him all to yourself... and then you wonder why I'm pissed." Mark placed a hand on Sean's back, whispering discreetly to him. "Stay down." Sean swallowed hard, watching Mark very slowly stand up. Nate watched his every move like a hawk, flexing his fingers like he was itching for a fight. Sean's breath caught in his throat when he saw that Nate's ring was gone. Nate wasn't himself. He was being controlled! Mark inched to the tank, asking Nate without looking away. "Jealous?" A wicked smirk pulled at Nate's lips, before he retorted coldly. "Me? No. But I do have an offer to make you." Mark raised a hand to rest it on the edge of the tank, raising an eyebrow as he replied curiously. "I'm listening. But before you start... Who's making the offer?" Nate lifted his chin, proudly answering. "The Siren Queen and current ruler of Atlantis."

Sean sat up on his legs, sneering out. "Let Nate go and talk to us face to face!" Nate's head turned to look at him, casually saying. "No. He's mine. He was promised to me by his father. I upheld my end. Nate belongs to me." Sean staggered to his feet, asking perplexed. "What?! That can't be! Nate never wanted the crown!" Nate chuckled, then answered in a voice that was anything except his own. "True... but Nate didn't have a choice. His daddy would have done ANYTHING to get the crown from me. Including selling his only son for my help in killing YOU. He probably thought that the Sea Crown would break my contract... but we'll never know. And it's not my fault he failed. Now... about my offer?" Sean clenched his jaw, while Nate told Mark still in the Siren Queens voice. "You give me Sean and I'll give you all the gold your vessel can carry. Enough to make you a king of land men. I'll even remove your curse as a bonus." Sean spun to face Mark with terrified eyes. He wouldn't accept, would he? Mark drummed his fingers on the glass with an unreadable expression, softly saying to himself. "A very tempting offer... More than fair, I'd say."

Sean's heart began to race in his chest as he stared at Mark with pleading eyes. Mark's eyes drifted from him back to Nate, asking curiously. "And should I decline...?" Nate's lips pulled into a devilish grin, upon darkly answering. "Then I'll take you both and awaken the Leviathan. Just for fun." Sean closed his eyes, pleading out hopefully. "Let Nate go and remove Mark's curse... and you can take me." Nate gave Sean a sarcastic expression as he droned out. "Why would I do that? These two would only come right back to 'rescue' you. No. We settle this here and now. Take it or leave it." Sean heard a board creak on the deck, causing Nate to turn and electrocute someone. Mark seized the moment to snatch his dagger from the tank and threw it at Nate. The dagger went right threw him and clattered to the floor. Sean's heart burst from his chest with the sudden realization. Whirling around, he screamed Mark's name. Nate was using an elaborate illusion. The real Nate materialized right next to Mark from his flawless invisibility cover.

Mark locked eyes with Nate, staring him down with fearless eyes. Nate's hand slammed against Mark's chest and Sean fell to his knees. He couldn't bare to see Mark get electrocuted, let alone feel it through their link! Instead, Nate yanked something off Mark's neck and told him in a smug version of the Siren Queen's tone. "Fear of drowning, wasn't it?" Mark's body tensed up, before Nate shoved him back into the tank and slammed the lid down. Sean raised his hands to try and manipulate the water inside the tank, but Nate sent a bolt of lightening to the floor just in front of him, causing him to scramble away as the floor caught fire. Mark pushed up against the lid, until Nate's hand melted the broken lock and sealed it completely shut. Peeking into the water at Mark's thrashing body, Nate again yell out in the Siren Queen's voice. "He never should have given you his ring! It was always meant to be MINE!" Sean staggered to his feet, running toward the tank to break the glass, but Nate quickly turned and rushed him.

Hefting him over his shoulder, Nate carried Sean out as he thrashed and screamed Mark's name. Within the tank... Sean could see Mark changing. To Be Continued...
