Alena's P.O.V
With a broken heart, I stared at Leon. There wasn't anything else I could do, I was foolish. He knew about our child, but I thought maybe if I reminded him something would change. I thought that I might find the man I fell in love with. But every second was torture it seemed what we've been through meant nothing to him. I was foolish once and gave Leon what I cherished the most & I'm still that foolish girl when it comes to him. One look, one kiss can silence me forever, but if only he would love me.
I had nothing to lose and if this is going to be our last night together, I'd rather remember this night in the arms of the man I love. Once again I was walking the same path, but this time, I had no doubts nor regrets because it felt so right even if it was wrong.
I drifted slowly toward Leon, exposing myself fully to the moonlight and his burning gaze. I feared his reaction as I saw his eyes darken with desire, he looked like my worst nightmare. He looked like the kind of man every mother feared her daughter would fall for. But suddenly his eyes were fixed on my swollen stomach, his eyes showed weird emotions. A kind I've never seen before.
"I've always been a good princess," I said as I took each step moving closer to him. "I've always listened to them and walked the path they forced me to take. I've always been the talk of the Ancient Maze for my beauty and intellect & always did what I was told." I stopped just out of Leon's reach, with glassy eyes, "But I can tell you one thing for sure, Leon. I will not marry Alvin. I will not allow that monster near me."
Leon didn't make a sound. He just kept staring at me, his expression was unreadable. What was he thinking, I didn't know. I've never seen a man with such a perfect self-control.
I laughed awkwardly as our eyes were locked, "Art was right from the very beginning, but what he didn't know that you've already taken something that wasn't yours." I said in a low voice, "Me."
A smirk covered Leon's lips, "Alena, weren't you the one who begged me to take you that night?" He shot back. "And now you're telling me Alvin got the right to rule the Ancient Maze? Are you trying to say that he's the kind of man that would please you?" Said, Leon, as he folded his arms over his chest. I knew the answer to his question, but he was taunting me.
"Don't act so mighty! You are not better than him Leon. You are using me right now to her what you want, you are using me to get my kingdom. You are keeping me here against my well." I hissed.
"I'm nothing like that man!" Hissed Leon, gazing down at me. I could feel the heat of his gaze. "I took you away, but not once I harmed you. I stole you from that grim life and gave you freedom. But wait a minute, do you think you're better than me princess? Didn't you fool me that night to get your precious child?" He whispered the last part. "Didn't you act shamelessly and dropped your dress just like this?"
My blood ran cold as I heard his words, he was right I did play him. "I had my reason, Leon. You would never understand why I did that." I argued, trying to make him understand.
Leon laughed bitterly, "And I have my reasons as well, princess. But I know one thing for sure I'll never meet someone like you. You look angelic but you're a deadly viper."
I flashed him a bitter smile, "I've learned from the best."
"You were foolish to do that once Alena, but did you think once of the outcome?" Said, Leon as he circled me while he spoke, his husky purr weaving a web I didn't want to escape. "Alvin will be gone for sure, but how your people will look at you when you're with a child? A fatherless child. How are they going to respect their queen when she did such a thing?"
"I will be free," I whispered. "But my child will not be fatherless, Leon. You will always be there next to our child guiding it through it all."
Leon reached up for my delicate jaw with the back of his knuckles. I didn't bother to move his hand away as I tried to enjoy the moment while it lasted.
"What choice do I have then when you tempt me like that?" He said, leaning down as his lips grazed mine softly. My breath caught in my throat.
I felt as if the time stopped as he pulled me gently closer to him, leading me slowly away from the moonlight and into the darkest shadows. I held his hand tightly not wanting him to know that I was trembling all the way to my toes. Only he got that effect on me.
I looked up at the dark skies and the moon as I knew they would be the only witness for whatever we had. I looked up shyly at Leon, "So what are you going to do, Leon? Are you going to seduce me or are you going ravish me once again?"
He smiled lazily down at me, "I'll do both."
He drew me gently against him, surprising me with his strength and heat. For a moment, he held me in his arms, as if we were an old lover. I rested my cheek against his chest, feeling his heartbeat. Slowly I slipped my arms around his waist and beneath his shirt. His lips gently covered mine once more, and there was no doubt anymore.

Leon P.O.V
I woke before the sunrise with Alena in my arms, it was exactly as the morning I abducted her. But this time was different, neither of us was wearing any clothes.
I smiled weakly as I buried my nose in her sweet curls, smelling her luscious scent. I slowly traced the slope of her hip with my palm. How was I supposed to send her back when all I wanted to do is spend the day kissing her delicious lips. I knew I was in deep trouble, I loved Alena and I still do. I was really foolish to think that I could give her up after this night.
If my father wasn't so heartless none of this would've happened, but I knew that I wouldn't be the same man. I would still be the same spoiled prince who hid behind his parents. Who would walk in their shadows forever and that I could never do.
All my life I acted that way just to seek their attention, but I was foolish. I'm not my father. I'm greedy and selfish to risk Alena's & mt child life for this kingdom & I knew that Alena doesn't belong to the likes of me. She deserves to live a cozy like with her child safe in her arms and a cat curled up in her lap.
I felt Alena's gentle arm slipped around my neck as she rested her head against my chest once again. I knew this might be the last time.
