Yes, I live in Clover Kingdom. Never do I know that I would have such a powerful Grimoire.

The magic of my grimoire is puppet magic. Not to brag, but I'm a puppeteer.

If you live in the Diamond Kingdom, other kingdoms, oh boy, you will never get this power.

But enough for that.

Today, I'm heading to the Royal Capital of Clover Kingdom. Why? To take the Magic Knights Exam! I'm so excited that my magic got more intense!

My entrance number is #89. Wow, such a long way to go, am I right?

And when I'm about to check the spells of my grimoire...
Someone touched my shoulder.

"Wow, if isn't Hazel!" Rose said with a gleaming, bright smile.

"Oh, Hey Rose! you're here to take the exam too?"

That's Rose. She owns a 3 -leaf grimoire. Her magic is water.

She nodded "Yup!"

"Attention everyone. The exam will start in 5 minutes. Please settle down. Thank You."

After for Five minutes, everyone tried out the broom. I could handle it tho. The Golden Dawn's captain was rather...strict to us. He once said. "If you can't ride a broom, then why you're here?" Harsh.

After that....they decided to have a battle....Rose had a battle with Kelly, a 3 leaf clover. And she won! How fortunate.

And....when it was my turn...

I got battled by a noble! Shoot.

"A pest like you shouldn't having that grimoire right now...."
"....."

" Light Magic: Bright Threads!"

"Puppet Magic: Manipulate Being."

His movement stopped.

"NOW, LET ME CONTROL YOU!" I exclaimed.

It felt good.

I defeated him by using puppet magic, making him slapping, hurting himself. My magic is high in defense and attack.

"Hazel Rondo has won!"

I grinned.

After several people battled each other, we waited for 4 minutes for the results. We were excited and nervous at same time. Rose turned sweaty, and I comforted her.

It was time....to reveal the results....

"These are the instructions! If your number got called, please step forward. Each captain will raise their hand if they have some interest in you. If no captain raised their hand, your out!" The instructor explained.

After for many numbers....Rose's number was called.

"#67! Please step forward!"

Rose stepped forward.

The captain of Blue Rose Knights and Praying Mantises raised their hands.

Rose had a trouble picking which one. Then she finally made her choice.

"BLUE ROSE KNIGHTS!!"

.....I'm getting sleepy....I'm gonna doze off soon.....

When I was about to fall asleep, my number was called.

"#89! Step forward!"

I stepped forward.

The captain of Black Bulls raised his hand.

"I'LL JOIN!"

Later on, after every number, it was finally over.

Me and Rose reunited.

"Wow! Hazel! You joined Black Bulls! Never expected that!"Rose complimented.

" Yeah...but It's kinda disturbing.." I admitted.

"Huh, why is that?"
"I've heard it's the worst squad."
"Well, that's unfortunate."

I nodded.

Then, somebody suddenly tapped my back.

I looked back. It was Captain Yami, he's with...another guy.

"Hey, your Hazel, right?" He said while getting a cigarette.

"Y-Yeah! I'm Hazel...the one who joined your squad..."

Suddenly, he hit my head.

"Ow!"
"Kid, come. You have to come with us. The early the new member comes, the earlier they get stronger." As Captain Yami removed his hand off my head.

"Okay....BUT! I have to say goodbye to "someone" first."

"Okay, but make it quick, Or else I'll kill you."

I turned my head to Rose.

"Well, bye Rose! See you again!" I said while waving.

"Bye!"

I looked back at Captain Yami.

"Finally, Finral, teleport us." He commanded.

"I'm not your car...you know..." He muttered.

"Shut up, or I'll kill you."

He gulped.

The next thing I knew, we were already in the base.

"Okay, let's go in."

We started walking to the door.

And when Yami opened it...

It was a disaster.

"That's your last supper!"
"This wine taste so good..."

My eyes were in awe.

I picked the WRONG GROUP.

"EVERYONE!!! STOP BREAKING THINGS!!!"

Then, Captain Yami punched the wall with his bare hands.

And it was broken.

Everyone knelt down.

"Sorry Captain Yami...." They all said.

He scoffs.

"Yeah, yeah. Now go. Introduce. Or else I'll kick you."

"Noelle."
"Magna!"
"Luck!"
"Gordon...."
"G-Grey!"
"Vanessa."
"Charmy."
"I guess you know me, cutie, but whatever, Finral."

"Nice to meet you all! I'm Hazel!"

Then, their eyes looked straight to my grimoire.

They were amazed.

"WOW!!!! YOUR GRIMOIRE IS OUTSTANDING!!" Asta complimented.
"Wow...Four leaf...." Noelle said.
"That's rare for a lady!" Magna exclaimed.
"Hey, wanna fight?! You look tough!" Luck said with awe.
"I like it...." Gordon mumbled.
"Oh...c-cool...." Grey politely said.
"Wow, your grimoire needs a drink."Vanessa said.
" I GUESS I CAN MAKE FOOD WITH IT, LA!" Charmy said while she's holding a spoon and fork.
"Cutie, would you mind hanging out with me sometimes? Your power might be too superb for me..." Finral said, while he act so cool.

"Aw, everyone stop! Your flattering me!" I said, feeling embarrassed.

"Hey, Luck, where did Gauche go?" Yami asked.

"Oh, the sister-complex dude? He went to see Marie." He replied.

I looked at Luck's eyes. He looks familiar.

"I have a challenge for you." Yami said.

"Pick three members, and you'll fight. One-on-One."
