Levi's POV:

I woke up around the same time as usual and did my normal routine. I went on downstairs expecting to see Jean do some crazy antics but I remembered that he was in jail. 

So I ate breakfast by myself again. It's kinda lonely now with my parents out at work already, and with Jean in jail. 

I looked at the time and realized that I was going to be late for school if I didn't go now.

I walked into the garage and hopped on my bike and rode out onto the sidewalk and on to school.

I know Petra's going to be transferring into my school along with Eren and Mikasa but I hope she transfers into my class. But that rarely happens, right? It was only just a coincidence when Mikasa just so happened to transfer into Eren's class, the one guy she needed most. Though, it still hurts me to see Mikasa has moved on with Eren. Hurting Mikasa when she was my girlfriend is still at the back of my head and the thought does pop up again from time to time.

While reminiscing on the past, I managed to get to AOT High on time. I locked up my bike at the racks and rushed on over to my health and safety class.

I set my stuff down at my desk and started to get ready for the warm-up. Today's question was, "Hypertension is another name for ____________."

I wrote down the answer on the whiteboard and waited as Mr. Tanaka walked in. He started typing on the computer and walked up to the front of the class. He started to talk about the bulletin board when he was interrupted by a late student.

I didn't look back to see who it was because late students were always common. But something was different when the teacher reacted by saying, "Perfect timing. Class, we have a new student."

I turned around and to my surprise, it was Petra. She smiled and waved at me from the back of the class. I awkwardly waved back. The teacher noticed and smiled back at the both of us.

"Please introduce yourself," he asked Petra.

"Right. I'm Petra Ral. I just transferred here today."

"Class, make sure you treat her well," started Mr. Tanaka. He turned to me and looked back at Petra.

"You'll be sitting here at this empty seat next to Levi since it looks like you both know each other."

I received some glares and chuckles here and there but nothing too chaotic. 

I started to get a bit fidgety and nervous when Petra sat down next to me. I could no longer focus; all I could think about was her so it caught me off guard when Mr. Tanaka called on me.

"Levi, hypertension is another name for what?" 

"Sorry, I wasn't really paying attention."

"I see," said Mr. Tanaka. "Then I'll just ask your girlfriend here." He turned to Petra.

"Petra is NOT my girlfriend!" I exclaimed. It kind of hurt to say that myself but it was true.

"Oh please! She might as well be! Anyway, Petra, do you know the answer?"

"Hypertension is another name for high blood pressure," she replied quickly. The teacher was amazed.

"It's only your first day, and you know it already. I'll give you another question." 

The class oohed.

"I'm ready," she stated and stood up.

"What is drug abuse?" 

She thought about it for a moment and said, "The intentional and unsafe use of drugs."

The teacher smiled and everyone was amazed.

"Man, do you even need to be in this class? It looks like you know everything," joked Mr. Tanaka.

Petra just laughed and sat back down. I gotta hand it to her, she's smart.

The teacher continued on with the lesson until the bell rang. Immediately, Petra was swarmed by my classmates asking her some questions and of course, I was a bit envious.

I was about to leave the classroom when I noticed Petra didn't look all that happy and was about to get stressed out in the crowd. I took a step of courage and marched in there.

I pulled Petra out and we ran out of there. I was holding onto Petra's hand tightly and I turned a little red. We kept running until we were far away from that class. We stopped just in front of another classroom to catch a breath.

"Well, thanks, Levi. You didn't have to take me out this far."

"It's no problem. Where's your next class?" I asked. 

"It's English in room 505," she replied. I looked around and sure enough the classroom we stopped at was 505. What a coincidence.

"I guess it's that classroom in front of us. My next class is PE in the gym so I have to get going." I started to leave.

"Bye Pet-" I didn't finish what I was saying because I was hit with warmth. She hugged me and said thanks once more. I started to blush and replied, "You're welcome."

We parted ways to our different classes...

Eren's POV:

"It feels weird not having to look out for Jean anymore," I told Mikasa. We were walking together hand in hand to our next class.

"Yeah," she replied. "You know, I feel like shipping Levi and Petra."

"Really? But they are real people not just some characters from a mainstream anime about fighting giants." Mikasa gave me a weird look.

"That's oddly specific."

"Well, you know what I mean, Mikasa."

"I got the reference. But anyway, let's try to get them together. I know Levi has a crush on Petra."

"So do I. Let's try having a double date!"

"That's a great idea Eren! Where shall we go?" asked Mikasa. I started to think about it and it immediately popped up in my head.

"Let's go to an amusement park!" I exclaimed with excitement.
