Levi's POV:

I rushed out the front door of Black Cat Cafe with Petra. The black cat mascot greeted us and told us to have a great night. I took his words into a little careful consideration but I was still nervous just walking next to Petra. I mean she was really beautiful.

Her flowing hair was a light touch of ginger, and her eyes, it was as clear as amber. Her lips looked soft and she had some curves. She was as beautiful as Mikasa.... but Mikasa is already taken by Eren. I can't be left behind.

"You know I learned a lot about your friendship with Mikasa," I started. "but you never really told me about why you moved here."

"Why I moved here?" she asked. I simply nodded.

"Well, I moved here because I heard there were some handsome guys here." That made me blush. I was going to respond but she cut me off.

"Just kidding! I actually moved here because I heard about a really good school here."

"And which school is that?" I asked.

"AOT High! I also heard Mikasa and Jean were going there."

"Oh..... Jean....." I said hesitantly.

"You knew him?" Petra asked.

"Well, let's just say... I'm his friend." I wasn't willing to tell her that Jean was my stepbrother after all he did....

Black Cat Cafe (Eren X Mikasa) (Levi X Petra)

We eventually arrived at Lawsun Supermarket where we got the items we needed. Petra went ahead of me and was already paying at the cashier. I was right behind her.

"That will be $13.37, miss," stated the clerk. Petra was reaching into her pockets but pulled out nothing.

"Aw, I'm sorry, it looks like I forgot my wallet back at Black Cat Cafe..." she said sadly.

"Don't worry," I replied walking up to the cashier. "I'll pay for it!"

"You're so kind, Levi." she smiled. I just blushed.

After that was all done, we went out together.

"Hey, I'll walk back to the cafe with you to get your wallet back. Hopefully, they are still open and no one took it," I offered.

"Thanks Levi."

And, so we walked back to Black Cat Cafe. Fortunately, it was still open. We talked to the manager who had found it and the wallet got returned.

We started on our way home when all of a sudden, fireworks blew up into the sky.

"Amazing," I reacted. "These fireworks are ni-"

I turned my head to talk to Petra but I could see her eyes shining at the sight of fireworks. She smiled again and looked at me. It was only then, did I notice how truly beautiful she was. Her eyes continued to sparkle as she started to lean in closer. I closed my eyes thinking she was already about to kiss me when she brushed some of my bangs aside.

"Sorry, there was some stuff in your hair," she said. I opened my eyes and said thanks.

We walked together the same way in silence except for the fireworks exploding in the air. I was so nervous, especially when I couldn't find anything else to talk about.

We got to an intersection where Petra stopped.

"I'm sorry Levi, but my house is down that way."

"It's alright. I enjoyed walking with you," I said with my face starting to turn red again.

"You know, you're a nice guy, Levi. Here's my phone number." She took out a piece of paper and a pen and wrote her number. She handed it to me and greeted me a good night as she walked off in a different direction.

I smiled saying, "Good night Petra!" I walked back home with the eggs I got as I put them in the fridge and jumped into bed.

I continued to think about her all the way into the night...

Petra's POV:

Levi. Levi was on my mind as I continued to walk home. He had some good looks and was really nice... but there's still something I can't go over...

The crush I had on Jean all these years... I better not recollect those memories right now.

The fireworks were truly something as I walked along the sidewalk. But it felt nicer while I was walking with Levi even if we weren't doing or saying much. Maybe it was because he was a nice guy?

I don't know but I just felt... different around him.

I reached my house but even then, I was still thinking about Levi. I just couldn't get him out of my head.

I placed the onigiri aside on the table and turned on the bathtub.

I continued to watch the fireworks out my window next to the bathtub and pondered on about Levi...
