Hi everyone! It's been SO long so let's recap!

-He works for Sheev Palpatine, Sheev is the runner of everything and it is him that y/n switched her investigation to.

-Connor is y/n's husband who she asked for a divorce from after he cheated.
-Obi-Wan still thinks y/n's focus is on Anakin and has demanded it to be, but since she's fallen for him, she switched to Palpatine in an effort to save Anakin since in her eyes he's a pawn in a much larger game.
-They are currently in a romantic getaway!
-Sweetie and Gerald: Sweetie is the last bank they hit, Gerald was a second option but ultimately Anakin and his little team chose Sweetie.
-Y/n snooped through Anakin's desk, the same day she smacked him across the face with an iPad and gave him a scar, and saw he was an artist and even found a drawing of herself.

I woke up to the sound of Anakin's phone ringing. I slowly opened my eyes and watched him sit up in the bed with the phone in his hand, he groaned quietly and answered, "Yes?"
The voice on the other end was muffled and too distant for me to hear, but the demanding tone was hard to miss. It had to be Sheev. No one else talks down to him like that.
"But we just—" Anakin began, but paused when the other person interrupted him, "Yeah okay," He sighed heavily and ran his fingers through his hair, "I'm not giving you attitude, but we did a job already less than a week ago, the heat is still there. It's risky to do another one." As he spoke, he stood up and walked to the sliding glass door that led to a balcony overlooking the lake.
I closed my eyes when he turned around to close the door behind him so he wouldn't see me awake, then opened them again seconds later. I sat up and pulled the blanket to cover my bare chest, then listened to the muffled conversation.
Anakin paced on the balcony, his expression appearing distressed, "Thursday—Gerald." I could hardly hear anything now except only a few small words that I could use to piece it all together.
Last time he was as making a choice, it was between the bank on Sweetie and the bank on Gerald. Now it sounds like he wants Gerald to be taken care of too. Greedy old man, I can't wait until the day I get to shove him behind bars.
"Noon."
Not long after they set a time, Anakin hung up and opened the glass door. He briefly paused when he saw that I was awake, "Ahsoka," He held up his phone and lied to me, "Apparently her and Piett had issues with holding the club together last night." He closed the door behind him and placed the phone in the pocket of his sweatpants.
"Did they figure it out?" I questioned. Ignoring that he lied because I'm definitely not one to talk.
"Yeah they got it all figured out, but no more random days off for awhile," He chuckled low as he bent down and kissed my forehead, "I'll make us breakfast before we head back."
He went to leave the room until I called his name, "Anakin," He faced me with curious eyes, "Clothes?" I drifted my eyes downwards to remind him I wasn't wearing anything and since he basically kidnapped me, I also had nothing.
His mouth formed an 'O' as he went to a dresser in the room and dug through, "Here," He tossed a dress at me, "You can wear this."
The dress looked to be close to my size, just slightly different and it reminded me of those colorful dresses one would buy from a little stand in Mexico. It was pretty, but I was hesitant to wear it, "Is this?"
"It's not Padmé's, it's one of Ahsokas many outfits that she bought and never wore, besides I doubt it fits her anymore." (I added the "doubt it fits" so it can be interpreted as any size, I don't want anyone feeling like I cater to certain sizes.)
I eyed the dress and the floral designs, and when I looked up, Anakin was already gone. I finally got out of the bed and laid the dress down so it wouldn't wrinkle. I went into the bathroom and turned on the water for the shower with a low sigh.
I now have the time and location of the next heist. If this were weeks ago I'd be ecstatic. I would tell Obi-Wan everything, we'd catch them in the act and that would be the end of it. Everything else would fall into place after that. Banks are robbed and money is laundered through the club, case closed.
I stepped into the shower once the water was to my liking and shivered at the goosebumps the warm water brought. I closed my eyes and tilted my head upwards so the water would hit my face and slide down my body, relaxing every muscle and giving me temporary relief from all of my problems.
Obviously, I wasn't going to be telling Obi-Wan anything. He's too arrogant and blinded by his disdain to understand that Anakin is Sheev's pawn. But how exactly am I going to get my hands on the mastermind behind it all?
I nearly jumped out of my skin when I felt a pair of arms wrap around me, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare you." Anakin chuckled as he hugged me rom behind. I was so lost in my mind I didn't hear him come in.
"It's okay," I said breathlessly, calming my racing heart. I turned to face him, his hair was already wet and sticking to parts of his face and forehead, "I thought you were going to make breakfast?"
"I was," He shrugged, "Until I came to see if you wanted waffles or pancakes and heard the shower running. I couldn't let the opportunity pass me by." He smirked, bending down to kiss my wet cheek, his lips then drifted to mine and we kissed as the water fell onto us and trickled between our bodies and lips. His hands cupped my face and his body pressed into me.
Eventually I'm going to have to tell him to truth and I'm not exactly sure who it's going to hurt more.

After Anakin dropped me off, I stepped into my apartment and closed and locked the door behind me with a sigh. Moments later I was sitting on the floor with my back against the door and my head in my arms.
"For a cop, you really don't check your surroundings much."
I shot my head up, and quickly stood up when I came face to face with one of the bouncers from the club. He's not one I've talked to often, possibly a greeting here and there with a few small talks.
"Not very bright, are you?"
"I don't know what you're talking about," He was sitting in a chair next to my dining room table with a gun in the middle of the table, "And how the hell did you get in here?" I moved a few small steps so the table by my front door was behind me. In the drawer was a gun.
He tilted his head with a smile, "Let's not play stupid. You had always looked slightly familiar to me, and then when I overhead that conversation with your husband," His hand inched towards his gun. He tapped his fingers playfully as he got closer to it, "I started to piece it together. I saw you once when I was paying bail to get my cousin out of jail, you were there at the courthouse." His gun was now in his hand, "In your little cop uniform. Granted it was years ago which is why it took me so long to remember you, but now I do and I wonder what the boss would think about his new girlfriend being a lying, traitorous whore."
If he, a bouncer, knows Anakin's lifestyle isn't exactly legal, I now wonder who else does.
"Again, I don't know what you're talking about," I slowly opened the drawer with my hands behind my back. My heart was a beating a hundred miles a minute and my hands were so sweaty I was having a hard time getting a grip on the gun.
"I want a divorce," He mocked me from that night in a high pitched voice. He stood up and walked closer to me, but still kept a few feet distance, "But I still had to make sure, the boss would have my head if I came to him and told him the woman he loves is a narc without any solid proof. He's a smart man, but a woman can make the smartest man blind."
I inhaled and exhaled deeply, my gaze drifting from the gun to his eyes on a cycle, "And do you have any?"
He pulled a file out from his jacket, "You bet your lying ass I do." He threw it down to the floor and out of the open pocket came a copy of my birth certificate with my real name, my marriage certificate, and even photographs of the day I graduated the academy, "I was hoping he would walk in here with you so I could show him everything in front of you. Perhaps a phone call would do." Without taking his gun off of me, he pulled his phone from his pockets and began dialing.
"Don't," I begged, holding the weapon behind me tight, I didn't want to have to use it.
He scoffed, "Unlike you I have real loyalties." The phone was on speaker and it rang loud.
"Hello?" Anakin answered in a couple of rings and I felt my heart stop, "What do you want?"
"Hey boss, there's something I think you should—"In the blink of an eye, my gun was pulled from my back and aimed at the man's head.
"Hang up," I mouthed, "Now."
"What is it?"
He looked like he didn't believe me, like I wouldn't actually shoot him. His smile said it all, "We have a traitor in the club, it's—" I pulled the trigger, the silent bullet flew straight into his head.
He dropped to the floor, along with his own gun and his phone, "Hello? Daniel? What—" I slammed my heel into the phone, shattering it completely.
I dropped my own gun and tan my fingers through my hair, "Fuck." Tears filled my eyes and I quickly pulled out my phone to dial the number of the only person who could help me right now. I placed the phone to me ear as it rung and watched the blood seep out of my victim, creating a puddle and staining my floor. I had almost wished that he used his on me first. The person on the other end finally answered, "Obi-Wan? We have a problem."
