The next morning Sebastian checked on Amalia it was almost noon and she was still asleep, Sebastian said "something is wrong here, she was fine after taking the antidote I wonder what it is?" Amalia opened her eyes to see Sebastian standing by the bed so Amalia held his hand sebastian noticed and looked down to see Amalia had woke up so he sat on the bed with her sebastian said "how to you feel today?"

Amalia said "I don't feel sick anymore, I just feel tired like I don't want to do anything and just sleep" sebastian said "ok it seems that you have gotten over whatever you drank at the ball, the antidote worked so I wonder what this could be?" Amalia said "I don't know I just feel week and tired" sebastian said "Amalia have you had your first soul yet?"

Amalia said "no you told me I would have to wait until I was older before I could make a contract and have my first soul since I'm still in demon years a baby and just awakening slowly" sebastian said "I think I might know what's wrong with you it's very rare, but it maybe that" Amalia said "what?" sebastian said "I'm not completely sure so I'm going to look into it a bit and if I'm correct I know what to do to make you better, so just sleep for now" Amalia nodded and closed her eyes while holding sebastian's hand and hugging her cat

once sebastian knew Amalia was completely asleep he left the room and went to see ciel sebastian entered ciels study phoenix was there as well it seems that phoenix and ciel where in the middle of a chess game and phoenix was winning ciel looked up and said "sebastian how is she?" sebastian said "not good I'm afraid" phoenix said "is she ok?"

Sebastian said "she's sleeping for now, master I must leave as I have something I must investigate regarding Amalia to see if my hunch is correct" ciel said "very well but make it quick" after that ciel went back to his chess game sebastian said "of course my lord" and left the study and went to where he needed to go

it didn't take long before sebastian arrived at a rundown castle and entered sebastian said "well now not much has changed, I must say I like what they've down with the place, now that leaver should be over here" sebastian walked down the corridor until it came to a dead end and pulled the candle holder on the wall and a secret door was revealed sebastian entered and walked down the long corridor of stairs until he came to a dim room full of books

sebastian said "now where is that book on demon children?" and started to search for the book but it was like a needle in a haystack after going through what must be close to a thousand books sebastian checked his watch sebastian noticed the time and said "oh no this won't do it will be time for afternoon tea soon so I must hurry, I have only 21 minutes before the master wants his afternoon tea and snack"

once sebastian put his pocket watch back he continued to check more books as he was about to leave a book fell from a tall pile, sebastian walked over and picked it up he read the over and looked quickly through the pages sebastian said "at last I've found it" he then checked his watch and said "oh dear I'm late the master won't be happy, I'll just take this with me and read it later" sebastian left the room and returned to the manor he placed the book in Amalia's room, and then went to the kitchen to prepare ciels afternoon tea and snack once he was done sebastian made his way to ciel study

sebastian knocked on the door and he entered and could see that ciel was still playing chess with phoenix sebastian said master "I've brought your afternoon tea and snack" ciel said "just put it over there sebastian" sebastian noticed that ciel was really concentrating on what his next move will be

phoenix said "I can go easy on you if you want?" ciel said "no this is the first time I've found someone who I can play equally with me at chess, I must say I'm enjoying the challenge where did you learn to play?" phoenix said "well not of my dad that's for sure, I learned mostly from books but a friend taught me and it seems I'm currently undefeated, but you're the first person to beat me" ciel said "the same for me you're the first person who has beaten me, what game is this again?" phoenix said "I think this is our 5th were both at equal loss and win 2 each" sebastian brought a cup of tea over to ciel and said "well master it seems you have found a worthy opponent to play" ciel nodded and said "yes it does, it's hard to think that this boy is grell's son he's nothing like him"

phoenix said "yeah most people say that the only thing about us that's the same is I look the double of him, I'm just glad I didn't get his teeth as well" sebastian said "yes I can see now why you are friends with Amalia, how long have you two known each other?" phoenix said "as long as I can remember we've grown up together"

sebastian said "really now it seems I won't get rid of the pest no matter how much I try" phoenix nodded and said "Amalia told me about when he interrupted when she was first telling ciel that you where her father, he's just as much of a drama queen here as he is at home" sebastian said "who is your mother phoenix?" phoenix said "I don't know all I know is that Amalia is being raised by you, and myself by my dad I don't know who our mothers are but most say I must be like her since I'm nothing like my dad, well except for the way I look" sebastian said "I see I have a question for you, does grell still call himself a woman where you're from?" phoenix nodded and said "all the time it's so embarrassing, he insists on me calling him mum when where out and he's always cross dressing most of the time I'm embarrassed to be seen with him, that's why I'm glad I'm friends with Amalia whenever I come over I feel normal"

sebastian said "what do you mean?" phoenix said "well whenever I come over to see her to hangout or at weekends I feel like I'm in a normal house compared to mine, to me you are what a father should be you let Amalia be who she wants without pushing on your ideas and what you want, unlike mine he wants me to call him mum when I don't want to and make me wear red when I'm sick of it" sebastian said "well I'm sure grell has his reasons for being like that, but thank you for letting me know more about my life with Amalia will be like" phoenix nodded and said "it's no problem did you find what you needed to help Amalia?"

sebastian said "I think so I just hope my hunch is right if it is she will be just fine, master I will be going to Amalia's room to check on her and to see if she needs anything" ciel said "very well then" after that sebastian left and went to Amalia's room as he was walking down the corridor mey rin and the others came up to him finny said is "miss Amalia ok now sebastian?" sebastian said "yes she's just fine now, she's sleeping at the moment" mey rin said "that's a relief she gave me a right fright yes she did when I saw at the bottom of the stairs"

sebastian said "she is much better now and should be up and about in a few days, all she needs now is bed rest" after sebastian said that he continued to Amalia's room and entered when he did he found Amalia on the floor in the middle of the room, he rushed over and picked her up and placed her back into bed Amalia opened her eyes and saw sebastian standing over her looking angry sebastian said "and what where you doing out of bed young lady?" Amalia said "I don't remember getting out of bed?"

sebastian said "really now tell me the truth" Amalia nodded and said "the last thing I remember was holding your hand and going to sleep" sebastian said "ok then, now do you want anything to eat or drink?" Amalia said "just a drink I don't feel hungry" sebastian said "very well then" and fetched Amalia a glass of water once Amalia had drank some of it sebastian placed it on her desk

Sebastian got a chair and sat by the bed and started to read the book Amalia stared at Sebastian reading the book she couldn't understand what the title was, Sebastian noticed Amalia staring and said "is there something you want kitten?" Amalia said "no but what's that book about?"

Sebastian said "this book is going to tell me what's wrong with you, is there anything you want?" Amalia said "no but can I hold your hand?" sebastian smiled and held Amalia's hand while he read sebastian looked up from the book and saw Amalia was asleep again so he continued to read the book it was then sebastian fount what he was looking for, he re-read the section over and over to make sure it was correct Sebastian said "so I was right I will have to let the master know" Sebastian then got up and left to see ciel and inform him of what he had discovered

now what could be wrong with amalia since Sebastian dos'nt know much about demon children the best way he could think of was to go to an old demon castle and find a book about them
