Song is a song that was played in my Spanish class today and I loved it so much that I decided to put it in one of these one shots for Valentine's Day!
It's basically a love song (clearly lol) about this guy telling a girl how she's on the top of his list, how much he loves her, and what he wants to do before he dies (and things with her) and such.

I stand tall with a hand over my heart, feeling a sense of pride and responsibility with my new order.

Before I exit out of his study door, I turn and give him a smile, "I hope you know that there's nobody I'd rather be working for than you."

When I twisted back around and left, I could've sworn that I saw Ciel blush at my words.

I'm walking in the halls of the manor, excited. Today is Valentine's Day, after all! Even if I don't have a romantic partner, it is still fun! Besides, for single people like me, it means we get more chocolate to ourselves!

I suddenly get stopped by my young lord, and I immediately drop to one knee with my right hand over my heart, showing my respect for him. Keeping my head dipped as I avoid eye contact. "Young master!"

I hear him let out a breathy chuckle before grabbing hold of the hand over my heart to help me stand up again. My face reddens at his touch, and he holds on for a few seconds afterward before fully letting me go.

"There's no need for that, YN," Ciel says with a smirk, and I shiver at how my name rolls off his tongue so easily.

I swallow my saliva and nod in response, giving a slightly nervous smile as I ask, "Is there something you need from me?"

He looks hesitant, unsure. He's holding something behind his back, and I'll admit, I'm curious, but I won't be nosey about it. His mouth opens and closes a few times, like a fish out of water, before he just shuts it completely and shakes his head. As he strolls past me, I can hear him grumbling something to himself.

I force myself to not look at what he was holding behind his back, instead busting myself with household chores that still need to be finished, trying to help out the servants. My mind swirls with many thoughts and theories on what he could have wanted to say to me. There's a million possibilities on what it could be, but I shove that away and focus on work.

I laugh as I watch Finnian run from Sebastian in the garden, screaming about who knows what. Sebastian is purposely going slow to scare him, and I find it rather amusing.

Don't get me wrong. I don't like seeing my comrades scared or sad, but this particular time just broke me into a fit of giggles.

I feel a tap on my shoulder and I turn around, my quiet laughter ceasing quite quickly. I keep a sheepish smile on as I inquire, "Young master! I'm sorry, did I disturb you?"

He smirks a small smile and he shakes his head, similar to how he did earlier. "Not at all. I find your laughter rather cute."

My cheeks heat up from his comment and I rub the back of my neck shyly, only now realizing how close we actually are. Ciel seems to notice this and backs off a bit, much to my disappointment, still holding something behind his back.

"Thank you," I mutter with a tiny smile, meeting his gaze once again.

He nods, "YN, I have something to, uh...something to..."

I raise an eyebrow, urging softly, "Something to..?"

Ciel tries to tell me his thoughts, when he just sighs in frustration and grunts out, "Nevermind.." Then he turns and leaves me here by the window, confused. He had made sure to swiftly keep the item he's holding out of my sight as he turned.

I'm walking in the garden, the breeze swaying my hair back and causing the leaves on trees to sway gently. The sun sets slowly, leaving the sky a beautiful arrangement of yellows, oranges and pinks. Hues of purple as well.

I hear footsteps behind me, so I turn and spot my young master coming up towards me. He looks determined, yet anxious. When he reaches his destination, he stops directly in front of me.

"YN, I have something to tell you and I've been trying to all day, so hear me out," he states before I could say anything. I keep my lips sealed as I wait for him to continue. He stumbles on his words, only managing to get out a few wobbly phrases that I could barely understand.

Ciel sighs in annoyance and exclaims, "You know what? I'm done with this!"

Before I could ask what he meant, he smashed his lips onto mine. I melt into the kiss and cherish the moment as my eyes flutter shut. He pulls me closer by the waist, and I can feel a tiny box poking my lower back, but I ignore it. The way he kisses me makes me feel as if I'm floating, and I find myself wishing that we could stay like this forever.

Me in his arms, safe and sound. Lovers, not master and guard. Two people with two hearts, beating as one.

When we break, he smiles. Not a smirk, but an actual genuine smile! He then takes a step back and blurts out, "Happy Valentine's Day, YN."

Ciel pulls out the box that I felt poking me during our kiss out from behind his back, and I smile wider. It's a box of chocolates!

"Aw! Thank you so much, Ciel!"

"You're very welcome, my love."

I giggle at the nickname, "Hey, by the way, was this what you were trying to do earlier?"

He blushes and nods, and I chuckle at his response. "Yes. I was...embarrassed."

"Embarrassed? Why?"

"Embarrassed to give them to you. Simply because I've never done this before and didn't know how you'd react."

"How I'd react?" I purr softly, taking a step forward and cupping one of his cheeks, feeling the heat under that hand. "I'll always react in a positive way when it comes to you showing me how you feel."

"I'll keep that in mind," he says, as if in a daze as he leans in to kiss me again.
