Ciel is extremely protective over you. Especially when it comes to a certain demon who used to be his Butler.

Yes, it's Sebastian Michaelis. A sadistic demon who couldn't care less about your safety. Or Ciel's, though he'd prefer not to harm in since he was his old Butler.

Old bonds, perhaps?

Either way, he wants you gone...for good.

Little do you know that Sebastian is making a plan to kidnap and hurt you.

And no, before you ask, you and Ciel aren't together. Off topic, yes, but it needs to be said.

Anyhow, you're staying at Ciel's estate for a few nights, just visiting.

You've had feelings for Ciel ever since you met him three years ago. Once upon a time when you were ten, you had met a boy with navy blue hair and striking ocean blue eyes at a ball hosted by your family. He had attended, having been invited as he is a Phantomhive and his parents were coming, as well. You two hit it off straight away.

This was all before his parents' death only days later on his actual birthday, so technically you are older/younger (depending on your birthday irl). He used to smile from what you've seen back then, and now he rarely ever does. You miss it, to be honest.

After his parents were murdered, Ciel had gone off the radar for years. All up until this point only months ago when you had reunited after you were wandering the streets of London and he had bumped into you. Recognizing one another immediately, you hugged, and that was the only time in a long while you have seen him smile. And that was when he had his Butler, Sebastian Michaelis.

The servants of the Phantomhive Manor tell you that Ciel has been happier ever since he had ran right into you. His overall attitude got lighter and brighter.

Apparently though, Sebastian didn't like your presence. Proving so by attempting to murder you.

Thankfully, Ciel was in the premises when this had occurred, and Sebastian was punished severely for his crime.

Ciel has somehow found a way to break the contract he had with Sebastian, which was something everyone thought was impossible. Including Ciel himself, but he had swore that he would break all ties connected to Sebastian. For you.

He said so in his own words...

"YN, I will find a way to destroy the contract I hold with Sebastian. I need to protect you. I've lost you once years ago, and I don't want to lose you again. Definitely not for good, at the very least."

Those words shone truth in his eyes and tone as it left you speechless and warmed your body in delight. He has never said anything more sweet to you, except, maybe, when you both were nine (and ten if you're older). All you could manage to do in response was jump on him in a tight, loving and grateful hug.

He had returned it, and you could've swore you had seen, or felt, him smile.

Anyway, you have your own room in the Phantomhive Manor, courtesy of Ciel himself. Well, the servants set it up, but he wanted you to have your own permanent room in his manor, just how you have a room at yours for solely him.

As you're wandering through the manor on your way to your bedroom after bidding goodnight to Ciel and the other servants, you couldn't help but to shiver. Not because you're cold, but because you feel as if someone's watching your every move.

It unsettles you to no end, but you try to ignore it.

Should you just go run back to where the others are?

The obvious answer shouting at you in your mind is 'yes!' but you decide against it.

Unfortunately for you, that's what leads everything to go down hill. Fast.

A hand clamps over you mouth, sealing it shut painfully tight and muffling your shouts of protest. You breathe through your nose as best as you can, but you can't seem to get enough oxygen into your body. As you slowly start to black out and fall limp, the last thing you see and remember is that white gloved hand and head an evil chuckle from your captor.

In the morning, Ciel awakes and gets dressed, then heads over to your room to see if you're up and about yet.

As he steps closer and closer to your door, he starts to feel wary and nervous, sensing something's wrong. He quickens his pace and reaches your door in seconds, having his walking turn into a sprint for your door.

Ciel slams it open and checks your room. In every nook and cranny, every possible hiding place, but to no avail.

You aren't there.

Feeling dread building up in the pit of his stomach, he runs all through the manor, searching for you. He becomes more and more desperate as time goes on and he hasn't found you yet.

His servants worry about him, and eventually ask him what's going on as soon as he stops looking around and pants from all of the exercise.

He faces them and yells in a panic, "She's gone! Somebody kidnapped YN!"

Ciel figured out swiftly that it was Sebastian, and with his servants' help, they make a plan to infiltrate what they believe is Sebastian's current base to save you.

One thing they don't know, however, is how you're barely grasping onto consciousness, searing pain enveloping your being as you cower in a corner. Sebastian had thrown you in a cell and plans to end you later that evening.

You have to find a way to contact Ciel!

You shakily stand and hold onto the wall for support as you look around, hoping against hope that you will find a way to get in touch with your crush. Or maybe even a way to escape.

Odds don't seem to be on your side, but you eventually found out you could slip through the bars of the cell if they were only a few inches wider.

It's a start.

Mustering up your courage, you back into a wall and suck in a deep breath before charging at the slightly bent bar. You ram into it and hold back a cry of pain. It moved ever so slightly.

It's going to hurt, but what have you got to lose?

You repeat this process until you have it wide enough to slip out of, and your arm and shoulder are in so much pain that it could be broken. And right when you had slammed into the bar for the last time, Ciel and his servants had started their trek to where you are located. They could arrive in about half an hour or so.

Ignoring the pain, you force your way between the bars and get out. You try to keep a low profile as you sneak around the base, noticing that Sebastian had some guards (who are demons) around the area. So you had to be careful, or you could be done for with one wrong move.

Combined with your possibly broken arm, the limp you have in your walk, and sneaking around Sebastian's base it takes you nearly forty minutes to escape.

As you push open an exit door, alarms go off and blare in your ears. Cringing and gasping from shock, you sprint out the doors and make a break for Ciel's manor. Well, where you believe his manor is.

Ciel and the others are close enough by that they can see the red flashing lights and the shrieking alarms going off. He knew that it had to be you.

Ciel started running to the base, and spots you limping his way, as well. You see him and go faster.

Meeting in the middle, Ciel wraps his arms around you as you rest your head on his shoulder. Relief floods through both of your veins, hearts pounding as you pant breathlessly.

You whimper lightly from pressure on your arm in the hug, and Ciel quickly breaks apart.

Before anybody can do anything, hands grip your shoulders and roughly throw you to the ground a good few feet off to your right (Ciel's left). Hitting the ground, you end up rolling from the force.

You try to sit up as you hear Ciel's worried shouts directed at you. Then he turns on Sebastian angrily, who had thrown you.

Sebastian blatantly ignores Ciel's angered curses and stalks his way towards you. You start trembling again and inch backwards on the ground.

In a flash, Ciel is in front of you in a protective manner.

"Get away from her!" he yells, shoving Sebastian back with his hands as he begins a duel with his former butler.

As the fight progresses, Ciel's servants hurry over to you.

"H-Help him," you croak, "he n-needs you."

"Finny's on it," Mey-Rin tells me as Finnian, Ciel's gardener, jumps into the action whenever he thinks Ciel could use some assistance.

Finny mainly let's Ciel do the fighting, as he knows that Ciel would want to finish this fight alone.

Meanwhile, Mey-Rin and Baldroy patch you up as swiftly as possible.

The fight ends quickly, with Ciel as the victor.

Him and Finny run over to you right as you pass out again.

Later when you awaken, Ciel is right by your side, cuts and bruises littering his body.

Before you can process anything, Ciel's lips are placed on yours. You kiss back after a few seconds of surprise.

He pulls away and whispers to you, making you flush a bright red, "Nobody messes with my girl."
