Your boyfriend, Charles Grey, is hanging out at your house when the skies turn dark and you can hear rumbling outside, sparking your fear.

"Hm, it seems that I'm going to be stuck here for a while," Charles smiles and chuckles, while you can barely manage a shaky smile.

"Y-Yeah," you agree, trembling in the slightest, just waiting for the loud cracks of the thunderstorm.

Crack!

There it is.

You gasp and tears start to well in your eyes, but you swiftly look away before Grey can see them.

"YN? Are you okay?"

Nodding, you reply quietly, "Yeah, it just...s-scared me."

And with that, you excuse yourself as fast as you can and hurry out of the room to your bedroom. You don't want your boyfriend to worry about you, but this action only made that worry come back stronger.

You sit on your bed and hug yourself, slowly rocking back and forth as you try to calm yourself.

Charles stands from inside the living room when a louder crack comes from outside. This time he can hear you yelp and sniffle.

Grey quickly comes to a conclusion and springs into action immediately.

He rushes into your bedroom and shuts the door behind him softly, then slowly makes his way over to you, as if trying not to make a scared animal run away.

You lift your head up and look at him with teary eyes as he sits down next to you and pulls your trembling form into a careful hug. You lean into him and cover the lower half of your face as you cry into his shoulder, while your other hand clutches onto his shirt tightly.

He hums to you soothingly, and you slowly start to relax.

When he thinks you're ready, he whispers, "Are you scared of thunderstorms?"

You only nod into his shoulder as a response.

"I'm here for you. If you ever need me when you're scared or anything whatsoever, you know you can call me. Anytime, any day."

You lean up and peck his lips as a way to say 'thank you.'

Charles just holds you in his arms until you eventually fall asleep against him, so he lays down on the bed and cuddles you as he starts to drift off as well.
