"You're so selfish!" Agni yells at me.

"I'm selfish?! All I ever do is be kind and helpful to you and everyone else! How am I selfish?!" I scream back.

As the fight progresses, our voices grow louder and louder until my throat feels raw and sore.

I run out of the manor, ignoring Agni's calls for me. I go the only place I know that will give me some peace.

I sob into my hands as I sit on the ground, leaning my back against a tree stump. I'm facing a lake, just hoping that nobody finds me. Wishing that Agni and I never had that fight.

We've never had one before. I don't even know what the fight was about, honestly. It just happened so suddenly, and it escalated quickly.

Somewhere in the middle of our fight, Agni had hit a vase on accident. It came my way and smashed on my legs, which started bleeding from the cuts.

That was when I ran off.

I'm just glad it didn't hit my stomach.

You see, I'm pregnant.

I just haven't told Agni yet.

I was going to, but then we got into that fight and...yeah.

I sit here, crying for what seems like hours until I hear my name being called.

I shakily stand and look around, my gaze finding my boyfriend, Agni.

Shaking my head, I run off again. He notices and chases after me.

I eventually run out of energy and slow down, which leads to Agni catching up to me. He turns me around and wraps me into a tight hug, muttering 'I'm sorry' over and over again.

I sob into his chest for a while, but when I stop and look up at his face, I see that he's been crying too. Before he can say anything, I blurt out, "Agni, I'm pregnant!"

He blinks as he processes my words, but then he kisses me. I ease into it and lean on him more than I already have been.

Once we break apart, he whispers to me, "I'm sorry for calling you selfish, because you aren't. I don't know what came over me. And I'll stay by your side. I promise. I'm glad that I get to have a child with you."

"I'm sorry too, and thank you. I wouldn't want to have anybody else's baby but yours."

"I love you, and our baby."

"We love you too, Agni."
