A quick note a lot of fans argue about what to call Grell he/him, she/her. what I will do is while Grell is a butler he/him since he is acting male but in later chapters, I will likely use, they/them or she/her, also fag in England means cigarette so it's how I will refer to them, for anyone who is not from England or doesn't know.

Early morning at the Phantomhive manor you are with Ciel, as you are the sound of Grell screaming and "oh dear, oh dear, oh dear!" fills the manor as Sebastian pulls the chair out for Ciel to sit down, the servants look towards the door. You are already sat down Joe behind you just as Ciel sits down Grell bursts through the door riding on a tea cart, you looked at what was unfolding and you look at Joe, both with a look of it's too early for this. You mentally sigh 'and today is the day Lizzy comes and breaks Ciel's ring, I will go off on her she is such a brat in this episode' you thought. Yeah, you'd been waiting for this since you knew this world was based on the anime, you may throw a slap in or not you didn't know yet, but if you did you were well within your right to do that.

It was then Grell crashed into Finny, you started to eat your breakfast watching you saw out the corner of your eye the maid who'd come with Grell. You found out her name was Evonie Irene and so far, she had been more competent than Grell, the odd mistake but nothing you could say she was a bad maid, she was good at her job which is what mattered. Finny fell backwards from the impact, which caused a pot of hot tea to land on his clothes you felt so bad for him. Finny jumped up holding his shirt saying "hot! hot! hot!" jumping around "are you ok Finny?" you asked worried, you knew how it felt to have something warm spill on you.

Grell just sat there next to the capsized broken cart looking dizzy, you sighed at this Finny sat by the table, you were about to reach over and hand him a cool damp cloth to clean himself up, but before you could Grell grabbed a napkin and the table cloth taking everything with him. Ciel was in the middle of eating you gave him a really look, to say you really allowed him to study here under Sebastian and Joe? everything fell off the table a few items smashed when they landed on the floor Bard and Meyrin had shocked looks on their faces.

Grell let some screams go in surprise and shock, Ciel sighed putting his hand to his forehead you looked at Joe "is it too late to go back to bed or even pick another place to go?" you asked he chuckled and nodded "yes too late for that, don't worry hell be gone soon" you saw Evonie come over and start to pick things up to help clean up. She put the broken pieces on a tray, Sebastian glanced at her 'at least one of them is able to do their job, so far she has no problems why did madam red send her here to be trained by myself and Joe?' he thought, that is what he found strange this girl here was good at her job. good enough she didn't need this training, yet here she was she followed orders listened and had the odd accident but nothing too bad.

Bard went to Ciel whispering "master why did you agree to take on such a useless idjit?" Ciel glanced at Bard "your one to talk Bard" he sighed "it didn't seem like such a bad idea" you let a small laugh go. "Yeah, because you got talked into it by madam red," Ciel thought back to madam red asking him, the scene changed to madam red with a red background behind her with small Grell faces on it "Ciel darling, I have a problem Grell is hopelessly incompetent" she had one eye closed and sighed. she then closed her eyes holding her hands together asking him "can you have Sebastian train him to be a decent butler? you can't refuse your favourite aunt can you" she then opened one eye and then blow him a kiss, Ciel sighed remembering "yes your right sort of" his hand to his forehead again.

"I thought Sebastian and possibly Joe would be inconvenienced by this, I never expected that we would be affected as well" he explained "awe you care about me Ciel, how sweet" you teased him. He had a small blush and looked away you giggled, behind Sebastian Tanaka stood with some tea just being his usual self. You and Joe looked at Grell which had Bard, Meyrin and Finny looking at him with what you assumed to be an imitation of Sebastian's usual glare, he gives them if they messed up. you couldn't blame them I mean he was worse than them, they tried their best to do their jobs, and half the time for one or two of them they did do it right but Grell was causing more problems for them.

Grell was knelt Infront of them "I'm so sorry for causing all this trouble, I simply don't know how I can apologize enough!" as he said that he seemed to shrink under the size of their glare. 'Meyrin sounds like she's trying to be Marge Simpson' you thought, having a small laugh to yourself you missed watching shows like that, it was then Grell got a good idea and grabbed a dagger that seemed to be from nowhere. "Wait, that's it! the only thing I can do now is die, I shall atone with my death!" the dagger was pointed at his neck, the others had a shocked expression of this as Grell was still knelt on the floor. "Just ignore him, he can be very dramatic I am sorry for the trouble he's caused" Evonie spoke. You jumped a little not seeing her leave or come back in. "oh don't worry, I'm sure Grell tries his best which is what matters, but still wanting to die a bit over the top" you replied.

"Whoa calm down a second!" Bard called out holding his arm out ready to take the dagger, "um should we take the knife away?" Meyrin asked Sebastian put his hand on Grell's shoulder. "There is no need for that" it caused Grell to look at him, "ok he's such a drama queen" Evonie looked at you. "Feel free to call Grell that," you told her, Evonie nodded liking how that sounded since she'd never heard that saying before. 'If Shakespear can make a few thousand new words and sayings, I can too' you thought Grell looked at a closed-eyed smiling Sebastian. "Just think of the horrible mess you would make, it would take hours to clean up the blood," Sebastian told Grell who now had sparkling eyes. "Sebastian is right on that, so take his advice" Joe added "thank you, Sebastian, you're so very kind," Grell said with his hands together, you shook your head at this keeping out of it as much as possible.

Meyrin, Finny and Bard were stood together near them, Bard looked at Meyrin and Finny "that was kindness?" he asked in a confused tone both shook their heads side to side. Sebastian picked up the teapot that was on the floor and looked inside it "now what I would like to know, is how you could ever think it was acceptable to serve the master and lady (name) such weak tea?" he asked. Joe looked over Sebastian's shoulder "that is weak, I mean even Evonie has gotten the hang of how to brew it how both lady (name), and lord Phantomhive like it" Joe put a fresh teapot on the table and handed Sebastian everything he needed. "Now Sebastian will give you a lesson on how to correctly brew tea, so pay attention I doubt he'll repeat this" Joe told the 5 staff members in the room. "Now watch me, a spoon full for each person and one for the pot" Sebastian instructed them and added 3 scoops of tea into the pot you watched.

"Finally add half a pint of boiling water and let it steep until dark" Sebastian said adding the hot water and putting the lid on the teapot. Meyrin, Bard and Finny were writing this down Grell watched in admiration of Sebastian, Evonie just stood and watched not too bothered Sebastian served you and Ciel a cup you both took a drink. "Master, lady (name) are you both ready it is almost time?" he asked while looking at his pocket watch and then putting away. "I have the carriage waiting for you in the front drive now" he informed you and Ciel, "fine" Ciel replied you nodded "alright, thank you Sebastian" you finished your tea Sebastian turned his attention to the others who stood to attention. "As for the rest of you, I want this place absolutely spotless" he then turned to Grell "Grell, perhaps if you should sit there and relax, so you don't cause any more trouble" he turned away from Grell walking away "Evonie" she looked at Joe "keep an eye on Grell, make sure he doesn't cause more work for everyone, if you can that is," Joe asked her she nodded "I'll try," she told him.

Sebastian turned back to Grell with a closed-eyed smile as if remembering something "oh, and if you decide to seek your eternal rest, please see to it outside would you, and try not to make too big a mess" he asked him and then left. Grell was still on the floor "what generosity, what kindness" his eyes sparkled you left with Ciel shaking your head at Grell, leaving him be after a short ride you were in London. Big Ben struck to signal it was midday it was a busy day with people going about their business, you heard a paper boy calling to get people to buy his paper "get your paper here! all the latest news prostitute mysteriously murdered!" 'And it starts officially, now do I have Ciel still wear the dress or not, but so keeping I always loved that dress' you thought as you went into the cane shop.

Sebastian held the door open as you walked in with Ciel, you were in your coat the shop worker looked up from what he was doing seeing you and Ciel walk in. "mm, oh hello boy did your father send you for something?" he asked you saw the annoyed look you held his hand to calm him down. Sebastian stepped forward "actually he's here on his own business" Sebastian informed the worker, and handed a piece of paper to the worker who read it. "We need to pick this up" Sebastian informed the worker "oh, you're here for that walking stick," the worker said putting the piece of paper down and getting a cane to open a draw, which held Ciel's cane in. "I was wondering who has use for one as short as this?" you saw Ciel glare you squeezed his hand to calm him down again, the man handed Sebastian the cane "naturally, I didn't think a chil" the man was stopped mid-sentence as Sebastian pointed the cane at him like he was inspecting it.

Joe shook his head at this leaving him to it "straight as an arrow, a magnificent stick indeed sir" the cane was what you assumed to be an inch or so from the centre of the man's head, who had a look of shock and slight fear on his face sweat going down his face to. Joe placed the bag of coins on the counter "keep the change good day" he told the worker, leaving with you Ciel and Sebastian when you'd all gone and the door shut, the man sunk to the floor in relief. you walked down the street with Ciel holding his arm, you knew he liked it when you did Sebastian had a slight jealous look Joe made a note of it 'and he's jealous the little earl can be so openly affectionate with her, well they are engaged and courting so yeah he gets to' he thought.

You all ended up in the local shopping centre people around you looking at things buying them "that ridiculous strength of Finny's is a menace, how can someone accidentally break a walking stick?" Ciel complained "Ciel he tries his best, think of it this way he's improved a lot compared to when he first started working so give credit where credit is due, he's a good person his heart's in the right place so don't be too hard on him ok," you asked looking at him. Ciel sighed "you make a point, he has improved still it is a pain to special order a new one" "I bet you like doing that Ciel, ordering a cane I think you like collecting them" you giggled he glared slightly at you. "Certainly, what a pity to go through all that trouble, you haven't even had a growth spurt in years," Sebastian said his hand on his chest. you looked away holding a laugh Joe did the same Sebastian watching you, when you were calm you turned back to Ciel.

"Speaking of trouble, I don't know how well Grell is going to work out we shouldn't stay away for too long," Sebastian said. "it'll be fine Evonie is there to keep an eye on him, if those 3 can be trusted to be left alone for periods of time, then it shouldn't be so bad, there keeping an eye on him plus Evonie" Joe pointed out to Sebastian. you happened to pass the toy shop you saw a young boy with his mother "look mama it's the brand new rabbit toy from Funtom see!" he told his mother while looking at her, you walked with Ciel looking at shops as you passed "the Funtom company the maker of toys and confectionery, has grown rapidly in the last three years and this estate testifies to the company's prosperity, the manor is magnificent don't you thin" Grell asked looking at the manor as he cut some trees.

Bard was sat on the floor enjoying a fag "you know it's only been around for two years now" Bard pointed out this shocked Grell. "What! it looks so stately and dignified?" he asked confused mixed in with his shock, "of course it does that was the intention," Tanaka told him who appeared from nowhere, which caused Grell to give a very girlish scream at the now normal Tanaka standing behind him. "Look it's the real Tanaka!" Finny pointed out while holding some weeds with a smile on his face, "we haven't seen him in months!" Meyrin told them Evonie watched 'that's the butler whose always small right?' she thought questioning it mentally "this manor was specifically built to be an exact replica of the previous one, it is identical to every single detail from the window panes to the stairways even the cracks in the pillars" Tanaka explained for Grell and Evonie. "Identical?" Grell asked confused "the original Phantomhive manor burned down, three years ago the entire estate was engulfed in flames it was a great tragedy" Tanaka continued to explain. 'Now I think about it I've not seen that kid's parents, so did they die in the fire?' Evonie thought wondering, when Tanaka explained about the fire it showed the manor burning down.

"Oh, oh I see, forgive me for asking but did master Ciel's parents, did they?" he asked being as cautious as possible knowing that this subject might be hard. "Yes, sadly they both perished in the fire" Tanaka answered the question, "how terrible that poor boy," Grell said as he cut some more of the tree, it was then steam seemed to come from Tanaka and he shrunk back to his usual size "oh no Tanaka!" Grell called out to a now shrunk Tanaka holding a Japanese tea cup and sleeping. "Is he ok? I mean he was up and talking one moment and now like this?" Evonie asked a little concerned about the older man. "His energy and stamina levels are way below a normal persons, being real Tanaka exhausts him he just needs to rest himself" Bard explained to Evonie and Grell "uh that's interesting" Grell replied in an unsure tone.

Meyrin then screamed and it made Tanaka come to, Finny dropped the weeds he'd pulled they all had slightly pale faces Grell and Bard looked to see Grell had cut the trees into skulls, and even Grell let a surprised scream go Evonie sighed at this "I work with an idiot, why did I agree to work at the same place as this idiot?" she asked herself when they all looked, they could see that every tree and bush on the grounds were the same skulls. "Why are they all skulls!?" Bard asked Grell, who was sat on the floor "no not again I've made yet another unacceptable mistake!" Grell called out as he got up going to a ladder, and put a rope around his neck that was attached to a tree "I can't go on any longer!" he told them.

"Isn't anyone going to question where that rope came from?" Evonie asked but they were trying to stop Grell, she saw no point she knew he wouldn't die since someone would stop him before he could succeed. "Quite tryin to die all the time!" Bard shouted to him as they got to the base of the ladder, "but I have to, it's the only way to redeem my honour!" as Grell said that someone pulled the ladder from under him, causing him to hang himself as that happened Bard, Meyrin, Finny and Evonie called out Grell's name.
