Sebastian had agreed with his father that his 18th birthday they would hold a ball to find him someone and to send invitations to every person who is single in the kingdom, to clear his head sebastian decided to head into the town no one in the town knew his real name and it was to his advantage, ciel was in town with his step family he had a hat on to hide his long hair, he was carrying everything waiting for them to finish looking in the shop

Ciel sighed and said "if it weren't for the promise I made mother id just run away, yet why should I leave my home it is mine not theirs, there only claim is through marriage not birth right" soon ciel heard "come along Cinderella" he growled and thought 'I hate that, they know my name yet' as he walked he bumped into someone and fell, he rubbed his but and said "ow" he looked around and said "oh no great"

Ciel started to pick everything up, he heard "sorry, are you ok?" ciel said "I'm fine" he saw someone pass him something, he looked and blushed he thought 'he's really good looking, wow' ciel took the box and said "t-thanks" he stood up the person he bumped into said "its ok as long as you're not hurt, but why carry so many? I mean you clearly can't see and this will happen again"

Ciel said "I have to it's my job, I'll be ok" the person said "well how about I help you, what's your name?" ciel said "my name, you don't need to know it also sorry for before" the person said "its, fine my names sebastian here let me help you, as an apology for knocking you over" ciel said "you don't need to really" sebastian chuckled and said "its fine, where are you going? if you came in a carriage ill help you take these there" ciel nodded

As they walked sebastian thought 'he has no idea who I am, he looked cute when he blushed' they reached the carriage sebastian put them on top and said "who are you here with I mean your carriage is one a noble has" ciel said "my step farther and step brothers" sebastian thought 'yet he's not dressed like a noble' he said "I don't want to be rude....but why are you dressed like you have no money?" ciel rubbed his arm and said "it's nothing really, I better go back they'll worry excuse me, and thank you for the help" as he went sebastian grab ciels wrist he looked at him

Sebastian said "could we perhaps meet again?" ciel said "I don't think we can sebastian" sebastian said "well there is a party at the palace soon, could you come? I'd like to talk to you more" he said "w-what, but how do you know? do you work there?" sebastian said "in a sense I do" ciel said "what do you do at the palace? and what party?" sebastian said "the princes 18th party, it's being held to find him someone to marry, I work with the prince"

Ciel said "i-if I can I will, my father said I must always keep my word any promises I make I must keep, and I know this is one I might not keep so all I will say is I will try to come, if I can't I am sorry but I did try, is that ok?" sebastian smiled, he had never met anyone like ciel someone so kind and honest, genuine, not fake, not after him for his title, his money

Sebastian said "that is fine, you have not promised me that you will come but you have said you will try, that is all you can do I hope we meet at the party, I will let you return to your family" ciel nodded and ran off soon sebastian heard "there you are your highness" he turned to see bard, he said "let me guess you came to find me?" bard chuckled and said "yeah, I mean you're out without anyone, so who was the kid then?"

Sebastian smiled and said "someone who hopefully will be at my party" bard said "so he has no clue?" sebastian said "no, for once I was able to talk without anyone knowing, it was nice to have a real conversation if he can come I will tell father that he is who I want, no one but him" bard said "well here's hoping he can, but are you sure he wasn't a she? I mean he looked like a girl" sebastian said "no he isn't" ciel made his way back to the shop alois said "where the bloody hell have you been?" william said "yes I specifically told you to wait here"

Ciel said "sorry, I took the items back to the carriage in case you brought more, then they wouldn't break or be damaged if I dropped them" william said "mmm, I suppose lets go we have other shops to visit before we return" as they looked around an announcer said "attention!" everyone looked he said "it has just been announced that the prince will be holding a party on his 18th birthday to find someone to marry, anyone who is still single you are required to attend"

Alois said "what no way! father we have to get new suits" william said "yes we must make a good impression on the prince, and hopefully one of you two will marry him" after getting another new suit that was this time tailor made to order they returned, while william alois and claude relaxed ciel put everything away and cleaned the entrance he heard the door and answered the door

A young boy just older than ciel was stood there, he said "is this the residence of lord william and his sons?" ciel said "yes" the boy said "here your invitations to the princes party, 4 right?" ciel nodded he took the invitations, as he closed the door a voice said "who was it Cinderella?" ciel saw claude he said "invitations to the princes party" claude took them and said "father the invitations have arrived" william took them, alois saw and said "why 4?" ciel said "I think one is mine"

Alois laughed claude let a small laugh escape, alois said "you really Cinderella, the prince wouldn't look twice at you" claude said "yes, what will you wear? your cinder covered cloths, and make a mess when you should clean" alois laughed and said "yeah, the prince won't look twice at you, I mean you need a certain class which we have and you don't, so go make tea or something to keep yourself busy and not embarrass us" ciel was so mad, it said anyone who wasn't married and single could go, but he had another reason for wanting to go not for the prince but the person he had met, he had been the first person since his mother was alive to just treat him as a person

That night ciel was so annoyed, he sat in his room and played his violin it was something he had kept up there, he rarely played as it reminded him of the night his mother had died, the attic was so high up that they couldn't hear ciel playing, after ciel finished he sighed and said "I don't care about the prince, I want to see that person talk to them, I'll ask william if I can come it's his choice not alois or claude's"

The next day william said "Cinderella" ciel looked, william said "do you want to go to the party?" alois said "father you can't! well be a laughing stock" william glared alois shut up instantly, ciel said "yes sir" william said "I suppose you could" claude said "father?" william said "I hadn't finished, you could if you make everything spotless and also find something to wear in time, the carriage arrives at 6 those are the conditions, if I am allow you to accompany us and be seen in public"

Ciel said "yes sir" he ran to start cleaning alois said "father you can't be serious, can you?" william drank some of his tea and said "alois, you have seen the size of this manor he will find it hard to make everything spotless, also he has nothing to wear you forget we had to sell all his suits that he did own, to make some money to pay for your step mothers funeral" claude chuckled and said "it will be by some miracle that he can come, even then if he does clean everything he will have to have a wash and change in time, to be ready by 6"

Ciel was fast and efficient he had learnt some tricks to make cleaning go quicker, soon the door went he answered it and saw some boxes and thought 'there suits, that's a thing will mine even still fit' ciel took the boxes upstairs as he did he alois saw and said "are those the suits?" ciel said "yes, they just came" alois said "take them to my room, I'm getting claude" alois ran off ciel took them to his old room he placed them on the bed, claude said "don't open the boxes, if you do you'll get cinders over them" william said "yes Cinderella you are to wash your hands thoroughly before you help us get ready for the party" ciel nodded

Once his hands where washed he helped them get ready, soon ciel heard "should you be getting ready?" ciel saw the time it was 5:05 he said "yes" he ran to his room and fount out the outfit that his father had married his mother in, ciel washed his face and hands with water and put the outfit on it was a white shirt with a light blue and black waistcoat, a black tie a long dark blue coat with black ended sleeves, he had black trousers on with brown shoes ciel brushed and styled his hair so it didn't appear girly or long, after he went down

Alois said "do you think he'll be here? I mean what's he going to wear? his work cloths" william said "let's wait, we have a few minutes" ciel came down and said "I'm ready" alois mouth was hung open william said "alois close your mouth" he walked over and circled ciel and said "where did you get this suit?"

Ciel said "it was in the attic" it wasn't a lie, william said "what do you think boys?" claude walked over he over towered ciel, everyone did since he was 5ft but claude was 6ft, william the same almost 6ft, and alois was about 2-3 heads taller than ciel, claude said "that tie" ciel said "my tie?" he was confused, alois said "you little thief that's my tie!" ciels eyes widened, it wasn't it was his father's everything was

Alois saw red and ripped the outfit to pieces, the worst thing was william and claude did nothing, claude just smirked after alois punched ciel in the right eye, ciel held it he wanted to cry but refused to show them weakness, claude said "seems you can't come now" william said "yes, the carriage is here Cinderella clean this up, and we will be back late I expect refreshments and snacks out when we return" once they were gone ciel cried he ran outside and sat against the wall crying, hugging his knees

He was hear broken because of the suit it was special, the fact they hated him and did that and didn't stop alois from doing this, also his eye hurt he couldn't open it any more, he heard "what's wrong?" he looked to see a woman in all red, ciel said "w-who are you?" she said "your fairy godmother, so what happened?" ciel said "my fairy godmother, sure they exist so does the tooth fairy, and the Easter bunny"

(madam red is in the outfit she wore in episode 4)

She said "well the tooth fairy yes, she's a good friend but you can call me madam red ciel" he looked and said "h-how do you know my name?" she gave a kind smile and wiped his tears she said "I'm here to help" ciel glared and said "help! if you want to help me bring my mother back, make this all one long horrible nightmare, why now? and not before?" madam red said "I see, you don't believe in magic do you ciel?" he said "no, if magic where real id be long gone, no they would they would be somewhere far away from my home, mine mothers and fathers not there's"

She said "well at the moment you want to go to the party right" ciel sighed and said "yes, I'm sorry for shouting it's just" she smiled and said "I understand, you've kept all this in because of the promise you made your mother, now when I'm finished no one will be able to resist you, so first we need a pumpkin" ciel said "a pumpkin? why a pumpkin? I mean you could just use a carriage?"

Madam red face palmed and said "ciel darling, darling ciel what is the event that's on tonight?" ciel said "the princes birthday, oh that's right there all hired out" madam red said "exactly, so we will have to make one the same with horses, a footman and a coach driver, those will all have to be made now the things I need are a pumpkin, and some animals and where sorted for transport" ciel said "alright"

He felt some hope that he might get to go, he found a pumpkin, a snake and some mice also the dog, madam red said "this'll have to do, ok first the pumpkin" with the wave of her wand the pumpkin became a carriage, she then said "ok set the mice down" ciel let the cage open, he didn't have the heart to kill them so he was going to set them free later, madam red waved her wand two of them turned into horses, she said "ok now the snake and the dog" she waved the wand the dog turned into the driver, and the snake into the foot man ciel blinked and said "pluto?"

Madam red said "there all sorted, they'll know what to do now it's just you" ciel said "me?" madam red nodded and said "yes, you can't go like that your step brothers and step father will know instantly that you are not here, are you sure you're a boy?" ciel said "yes I am sure, do I look that much like a girl?" madam red said "yes, your eye" ciel covered it she smiled and said "ill fix it, your fringe will hide it, now close your eyes ill make sure they don't know it's you"

She waved her wand over ciel and he had a new outfit, madam red said "alright open and take a look" ciel did he looked in the fountain and said "what the! why am I dressed like a girl?!" madam red said "I think you make a very cute girl, also no one can tell you're a boy, now off you go" ciel said "b-but" she said "don't worry now go, you'll miss it" ciel said "I'm missing something" madam red said "what?" he said "a ring it's my fathers, they don't know about it"

She waved her wand ciel looked to see another one, it was a silver ring and blue gem he said "this isn't my ring?" she said "a gift from me to you now go, oh before I forget midnight" ciel said "midnight? what do you mean midnight?" she said "the magic wears off, think of it as your curfew so be back before the clock strikes midnight, meaning you have until the last bell to make it back also your step brothers and step father will get back later, ok so enjoy ciel"
