7. You fight

You were with undertaker since he is the only person william trusts to watch you and he couldn't bring you to work but technically you were at his work, undertaker had taken you to the library there undertaker was explaining what the books where and how they were important you said "why did you stop being a reaper if you're supposed to be the best?"

Undertaker giggled and said "that's a story for another day my dear" it was then you heard "(name), how come you're here?" you saw grell and said "I don't need to tell you, besides why are you here shouldn't you be working grell?" he said "you little brat"

You smirked and said "go on continue with your insults grell, I'll just tell my father what you've called me and well hell make your life hell, give you more and more work remember I control how easy your life can be" undertaker giggled you knew you were right, if you said one word that grell had been mean he would make life hell for grell until he was satisfied

Grell growled, you saw something and took it and said "what's this?" he said "give that back!" you said "uh no, undertaker do you know?" you showed him he said "dear me this is bad" you said "bad how?" as undertaker was about to say you heard "(name)" you jumped knowing who the voice belonged to, you looked and said "father" william walked over and said "why are you here?" he looked at undertaker

Undertaker said "I had business here, I couldn't leave her alone so she came with right (name)" you nodded grell smirked and thought 'pay back brat' he just didn't want to get into trouble, he said "will what's that she's got?" william said "(name), let me see" you passed it him he narrowed his eyes and said "what is this?" you said "I don't know, I asked undertaker and he said it was bad, but how?" ne sighed and said "I'm disappointed in you (name)" you froze those words hit you hard, you thought 'h-he's disappointed in me, but I haven't done anything wrong?' you said "can I ask why?"

William said "you know why, when we get home we will discuss this" undertaker said "william she" william said "do not defend here undertaker, this is a matter between me and my daughter" you glared and grell and went to attack him, william held you back by his arm and said "(name!)" you didn't hear him you were so mad at grell and well out for blood william shouted louder "(NAME!)" you stopped he said "what has gotten into you? this is not like you at all I'm truly disappointed in you for this, your behaviour and this I just hope when you do become a reaper you do not repeat these actions, and cause trouble for me"

You looked down and thought cause trouble, I didn't do it and dose he really think I'll cause trouble for him' you said "I didn't do anything father" william said "(name) you know I hate lying, if you didn't do it then how did this book get damaged? and why did you attack him? I know I want to hurt him at times for him well being him but can't, so young lady"

You said "him, he did it not me, tell him grell" you pointed to grell he said "I don't know what she means will, I came in here and she had the book and showed it to undertaker thinking he could fix it before you fount it, I guess she's not an angel as you say not the good girl you say your proud of" you stepped back tears now running down you cheeks, before you held them back but now you couldn't

You screamed "I DIDN'T DO IT YOU LIAR, I CAN SEE WHY FATHER HATES YOU AND WHY THAT DEMON WON'T LOOK AT YOU NO ONE LIKES YOU GRELL NO ONE, YOUR LOUD OBNOXIOUS AND STOP TRYING TO DATE MY FATHER, HE DOESN'T LOVE YOU HE NEVER HAS AND NEVER WILL, HE'S TOO NICE TO SAY IT BUT I'M NOT!" you ran out crying it hurt you so much everything had, undertaker went over to grell and said "that was low grell, she is a child and id confess now" william said "I'll have to find her now" undertaker said "william think about this, dose (name) seem like the kind of girl who would do this? would she destroy a book that as we all know is valuable? and also I thought you were smarter than this you know your daughter the best out of the 3 people here, me you and him think carefully william because the actions you take now could result in your daughter leaving you, and never wishing to see you again"

Undertaker walked away william said "she won't undertaker, (name) knows what she did wrong" undertaker shook his head and sighed and said "william, look at all sides you'll push her away"

8. You run away

You ran straight home crying and to your room you locked the door and barricaded it and cried, you heard william come home you didn't want to speak to him he didn't listen or consider your side, all that mattered to him was work the fact he had more over time grell was to blame not you, that night when he was asleep you got your things and said "I guess he doesn't want to hear my side, works all that matters not his daughter"

You opened your window threw your bag out the window you saw a photo of you and william together you smashed it by throwing it against the wall, you got out and closed your window and said "I wonder who long it will take him to see I'm gone, and realise I'm not in the wrong its him?" you ran to undertakers it was raining you didn't care, you knocked on his door he answered it rubbing his eyes and said "(name!) why are you here?"

You hugged him, he returned it and said "let's get you in and dried off" you did, once you where dry and in dry cloths you sat on a coffin hugging your knees, undertaker said "dose william know you're here?" you shook your head he said "can you tell me why?" you cried and said "he doesn't care about me at all, its only work and that he didn't even listen and, and he believed him, can I stay here please undertaker? I won't be any trouble, I don't want to go home and I don't want to be on the streets here I'm safe, and I know you"

He patted your head and said "of course you can, I know I'd be dead if william fount out you'd come here and id turned you away, I was going to suggest you stay here you can stay as long as you need my dear, I have a spare bed in the back it's in a small room it's yours as long as you need it" you sniffled undertaker gave you some tissues you said "thank you, I'll help with your shop if you want" he said "alright, now let's go to bed its late" you nodded and went to bed

9. He sees your gone

The next day william knocked on your door and said "(name)" you didn't answer he knocked again and said "(name) open this door now, I know you are in there you have until 3 then I'm coming in, 1...2...3" you didn't answer he tried the door but it was locked and barricaded, but he didn't know he sighed and said "(name), I expect this door to be unlocked by the time I get home from work"

At work everyone was whispering as some had seen what happened in the library, william just glared and said "do you have something to say?" they didn't and just scarpered, after work he went home and saw that your door was still the same he tried again and said "(name), I'm coming in" he tried but no he went to your window and saw you weren't there, he climbed in through the window and said "honestly" he saw you'd barricaded it, and moved everything as he did he heard a crunch under his shoe

He looked and picked up the broken picture and said "this is!" he checked the draws and wardrobe, and saw most of your cloths where gone he sat on your bed and said "she ran away, but where?" william was surprised, he just expected you to have locked yourself in your room and refuse to see him, and if he did get in shout at him throw things like a pillow and teddies but not run away, he said "I suppose I'll have to find her now, there aren't many places that she could have gone" as he left he saw a note on the back of your door, it said 'father I hate you, your words hurt me more than you can imagine and as you suspected I have run away, don't bother looking for me now you can just focus on work and work alone, and not have to worry about me'

10. He realises his mistake

It's been almost a month since (name) went, I managed to fix that book but I'm worried about (name) I hear "aww will, what's the matter?" I see him I say "nothing, what do you want?" he says "just to see you, where's oh you know?" I say "why are you so concerned about my daughter? also I will send her to apologise for almost attacking you"

I don't want (name) to apologise almost attacking him, I would gladly let her he says "oh it's ok really" I glance it's ok? I push my glasses up and say "grell something is wrong, you are saying it's alright that someone does not apologise when they almost hurt you physically, and you are asking about my daughter which you have not done since I returned to work after my allocated leave to bombarded me with questions about her because you were curious, so what is the reason?"

He doesn't answer I stand up with my death scythe in hand and say "sutcliff, you start talking now!" he backs away he is hiding something from me, he's in a corner against a wall he says "w-william any other time I'd love this, b-but" it's then a knock came I sigh and say "you do not move, I want answers from you" I use my scythe and pin his coat to the wall, I want answers and I will get them

I answer the door its knox's I say "yes, what is it?" he says "is grell senpai there?" I say "yes.....but I have something to discuss with him, what is it you need him for?" he says "oh, it's about that book" book I say "do you mean this one?" I show ronald he nods and said "that's it, but it's fixed?" I say "yes, I fixed it, what does this book have to do with sutcliff?" he says "oh, um well" I pull him in and say "tell me everything, both of you now!"

They jump I know my voice was raised, grell's shaking I glare and say "sutcliff! you tell me everything NOW, and I do mean everything, because if it is what I think it is you are in trouble, and more so than that jack the ripper case, I will personally see to it that you have overtime for I don't know the next 100 millenniums for this"

Ronald said "senpai w-what does he mean?" I say "yes grell, tell him" grell explains how it was him who destroyed the book, I narrow my eyes and shout "YOU IDIOT, DO YOU REALISE THE TROUBLE YOU HAVE CAUSED? NOT ONLY THE OVER TIME I HAVE HAD TO DO, THAT IS MINUSCULE TO THE TROUBLE YOU HAVE CAUSED MY PERSONAL LIFE, BECAUSE OF YOU I BLAMED MY DAUGHTER WHO DID NOTHING WRONG, AND NOW SHE IS MISSING I HAVE NO IDEA WHERE SHE IS, IF SHE'S ALRIGHT FOR A MONTH, BUT OF COURSE YOU THINK OF YOURSELF AND NOT ANOTHER, I SHOULD HAVE LET HER HURT YOU, I HAVE NOT ONLY LOST MY WIFE, I HAVE NOW LOST MY DAUGHTER, I THINK THE HIGHER UPS WILL HAVE A LOT TO SAY, ALSO JUST KNOW THE PUNISHMENT THEY GIVE YOU WILL BE NOTHING TO WHAT I WILL GIVE YOU, I ALREADY HAVE MORE THAN ENOUGH WORK TO KEEP YOU BUSY! and knox take him to them and explain everything"

He nodded and said "yes sir Mr spears, I hope you find your daughter I knew she wouldn't do that, she loves books and takes great care when she's here with undertaker, she's careful with them and doesn't touch what she's not meant to, ill get anyone who saw to say as well" I nod and say "alright, now I will go and find my daughter and make things right" I left and went to try and find her and make this right and apologise, I don't know how I'm going to make this up to her

11. You make up

You were helping undertaker in the back, you heard the bell and said "undertaker you have a customer" he said "alright, can you finish adding the flowers?" you nodded, you liked helping undertaker with the flowers he wouldn't let you do anything to gross, mostly it was flowers or you'd get him what he asked you to get like say certain jars

You peaked in to see who it was, you saw your dad talking to undertaker he said "I have seen her william, and she is hurt and upset by this" william said "do you know where she is?" undertaker said "I'm not sure, but I do know she's safe" william said "if you do see her let me know, I want to see her and talk things through" undertaker said "talk, or listen to a one sided argument and not give her a chance to defend herself like before?" william said "to listen"

Undertaker knew you were listening and said "excuse me william, I have to check on something in the back" william nodded undertaker went to you he said "it seems you heard it all?" you nodded and said "I don't know if I can see him, he hurt me really hurt me undertaker" he knelt to your height and said "what if I was in the room with you? would that make you feel better?" you nodded and said "I'll listen.....but I don't know if I can forgive him for this, he didn't listen he just took grell's side" you were crying

Undertaker wiped your eyes and said "(name), from that talk I had with william he's sorry and wants to make up, and he knows it will take more than a simple apology to make it up to you, but it's a start and the first step is always the hardest, also the entire time you've been here I've heard that he's been looking for you, trying to find you after work on his lunch any break he gets he's trying to find you, now what does that tell you about your father?"

You sniffled and said "h-he cares" undertaker nodded and said "I know you're a good girl a bright one, but your hurt so will you talk to your father? I'll be in the room as a mediator, and make sure he hears your side alright" you nodded you walked out william said "(name)" you looked away, undertaker said "william will you listen to her, and (name) will you listen to your father"

You and william nodded, undertaker got some tea in proper cups and some biscuits, william said "where have you been?" undertaker said "I can answer that, she's been here the entire time she asked me not to say, william when she came she was in pieces that night and almost every night since she's cried herself to sleep, and I don't think you realise how hurt she is william by your actions and words"

William said "I do, (name) I'm sorry grell told me everything him and some others at work they saw, I am sorry I blamed you and took his side" you said "that's all fine and good but it hurt, what you said really hurt me, I did nothing wrong what shocked and hurt me the most was you automatically went and believed grell, not alright (name) what's your side of the story, or listening to undertaker who was there the entire time, now what did grell tell you mmm"

William sighed and said "the truth, that he came you were with undertaker you took the book and that you said you would tell me that he called you a brat, and you said that you could make his life hell with just one word to me" undertaker giggled and said "that is true, she did say that and (name) is the one who noticed the book I didn't, (name) what where you going to do with the book after you took it from grell?"

You said "give it to who needed to fix it, and say how I found it like that, besides why would I destroy a book? also when you asked how it happened I said I didn't know, that should have told you I didn't do it, if someone hasn't done something and it seems like they had and they say they don't know it's clear they didn't do it, also I don't know what was or is in those books all I know is there important and shouldn't be damaged or touched without permission, right undertaker"

He nodded and said "whenever we go there (name) doesn't touch, if I say she can she does, if not she just looks nothing more nothing less" william was feeling bad, soon it had gotten late you said "what about your work huh?" william said "as soon as grell said and ronald to I left to try and find you, and that was almost a week ago" your eyes widened and said "a-a week ago!" undertaker was shocked to and whispered "if that doesn't show he loves and cares for you my dear, then I don't know what will"

You nodded and said "you never leave work or skip days, the only time you have off is when your given time off why?" william went over to you and knelt down to your height he put his hands on your shoulders and said "because I love and care about you (name), you are my child my only daughter I guess I haven't been much of a good father, I know we have disagreements but I realise I truly hurt you more than I can ever fathom" you looked down and said "you are a good father, you work hard so I can have things I need.....but because of that I don't see you much and I understand that its your job, but you didn't listen to me let me explain, let undertaker defend me believed him I know you've known grell since you were at the academy.......but I'm your daughter a part of you and the words you said felt like a knife had gone through my heart, and you where the one who had stabbed me, and grell put it in your hand"

William hung his head and hugged you and said "I am truly sorry (name), truly can you forgive me?" you looked at undertaker he said "I can't answer that question only you can (name), can you forgive your father for his mistake? we all make mistakes, some more than others your father I have rarely seen him make any, and this I can say is one of his biggest to hurt you and it takes a big man to admit he's wrong like william has, but can you be the same and forgive him? if you don't then you will need to explain why, if you do it shows you are the bigger person, (name) as you grow you will fight with him make mistakes but there is one thing that will always be the same and never change no matter the fights you have, the arguments and you say how much you hate him and never want to see him again, do you know what that is?"

You shook your head undertaker said "it is the love, you have and the fact william will always be there as your father ready to forgive you for your mistakes if they can be forgiven, a parents love is strong you can't have hate without love, if you hate someone or something it means you love them, now do you forgive him (name)?" you thought about what undertaker said you returned the hug and nodded, undertaker said "it seems she's forgiven you"

You and william pulled apart and said "I have forgiven you.....but not fully that will take time, alright" william said "I understand, and I didn't expect you to fully forgive me, and I truly am sorry I'm not disappointed in you at all, and also I know you would never cause trouble for me" undertaker said "(name), are you going to go home or stay here? it's your choice"

You said "go home and try and get back to how we were before all this" undertaker said "here your things, and your welcome anytime my dear" you nodded and said "I know, and thank you for letting me stay here and making sure nothing happened to me, when I come again can I still help?" undertaker said "of course" william said "help with what? I hope it's not what I think" undertaker said "no (name) just helped with flowers, and got items I needed didn't you" you nodded, after you went home with william

12. You get a pet

William had gotten into a little bit of trouble, but his bosses understood and grell was held responsible the punishment william had was a month of over time, which he didn't mind he could just take it home with him, ronald saw william and said "hey how's (name)? did you find her and make up?" william said "yes, why do you want to know?" ronald said "oh grell senpai was wondering that's all, did you hear about his punishment?"

William said "yes and it's to light if you ask me, when he returns I will work him until I'm satisfied that he has repaid all this trouble" ronald said "well it's nice you've made up with her, what about when you had a fight with her mother?" william looked up and said "we didn't, we had disagreements like any other couple, but nothing as I did with (name)" ronald said "wow, that's rare to find a relationship how yours was, some advice a gift is always a good way to make up with a girl, even if she's forgiven you"

William said "I take it Mr knox that's how you make up with your many girlfriends?" ronald scratched his head and gave a small laugh and said "uh yeah, the ones I've dated for a few months, if we had a fight so a present is the best, something she likes say chocolates jewellery, though with daughters I don't know sorry"

William nodded and thought 'that is not a bad idea, I just hope he doesn't try to date (name), but what to give her?' on the way to undertakers william saw some pets and went in, he looked around the shop keeper said "can I help you sir?" william said "I'm just browsing" she said "well if I can help let me know, do you know what pet you're after?" william pushed his glasses up and said "no I don't, I'm thinking of a possible present for my daughter"

The woman said "perhaps something like this" william followed her she picked a hare up, william said "a rabbit" he raised an eyebrow, the woman said "a hare, they are like rabbits but not" william looked over the white hare and decided to get it you

He paid for it and took it home, he then went to get you on the way home you said "is something wrong father?" william said "no nothing" you didn't press the matter anymore, when you got in william said "go to the living room, I'll be in soon" you nodded and sat on the sofa and went back to your book you had nothing better to do

William got the hare and brought it into you, he said "(name)" you looked and saw the hare, he put it on your lap you said "what's this?" william said "a hare" you said "no, I mean why have you got this hare? and why is it here?" william sat down and said "she is yours, your pet what name are you going to give her? she is your responsibility"

You looked at the hare and said "ruby, because her eyes are like rubies" william said "alright, you need to look after her she is your responsibility alright" you nodded and set ruby down, she went to explore her new home you were happy you had someone to keep you company who wasn't mad, just someone to be there and listen undertaker did listen, but sometimes you just wanted someone to talk to that couldn't answer back and that was now ruby

13. How you spend Christmas (I know Christmas has come and gone but oh well)

You woke up and saw the time it was 7, you said "he said not to early, 7 isn't to early right?" you got out of bed and went to william's room, you went in and saw he was asleep you shook him and said "daddy" he didn't answer you tried again, he put his glasses on and said "what is it (name)?" you said "can I open my presents please? its 7" william said "very well, go wait for me" you nodded and ran in william said "I better go in"

William went in and saw you waiting, he nodded and you opened your presents you made sure to thank him each time and said "I'll make sure to thank your friends daddy, when I next see them" william nodded he drank his coffee, once you had opened all the presents you gave william his

He opened it and saw a new suit he said "how did you get this?" you said "undertaker, took me to get it you daddy" william said "and how did you pay for this?" you said "I helped undertaker in his shop, and he said that my payment for being good and helping, also doing as he said was that he'd help me get you a present anything I wanted"

William was surprised and thought 'I'll have to thank him' after you played with your toys, it was then a knock came you looked through the window and said "daddy, one of the neighbours is at the door" william answered the door you stood by him and said "it's cold" he said "then go into the living room where its warm (name)"

The neighbour said "here william" william said "thank you Mrs light" you said "thank you Mrs light" she knelt down and said "for you (name)" you took it and said "thank you very much" william said "you did not need to do that" she smiled and said "it's alright, I made to much anyway it's just me and my husband since our son and daughter have their own family, they'll be over later to spend Christmas with me and ed, it'll be nice to have my family around me, my children there partners and their children"

William said "again thank you Mrs light, to both you and Mr light" she said "its fine william, I know you're a hard worker, just remember what's most important" william said "I'll be sure to, ill let you go" Mrs light said "alright and merry Christmas" you closed the door and said "what is it daddy?" william said "I'll look now"

You went into the kitchen and looked it was a Christmas dinner, just enough for you both as well as some desert you said "wow daddy, it's a dinner" he said "yes why don't you open your present" you nodded william said "she made it knowing I hadn't made a dinner for us, she is a kind neighbour and (name) seems to like her"

You said "look daddy" william saw a rabbit he said "yes its very pretty, isn't it" you nodded it was a bitter rabbit and said "yeah" the bitter rabbit was a brown one, in a dark green suit with a yellow waistcoat, white shirt and black tie

Soon william served the dinner, after you played with your toys that you got when william next looked up you were asleep, he saw the time and noticed it was about 8 he picked you up and put you to bed, when he did you woke up and said "daddy" he said "go back to sleep (name)" you said "ok, will you stay until I do" william sat on the bed you said "no daddy, on the bed with me please" william lay down you hugged him and moved closer, once you were asleep he went back into the living room

So for william you wake him at a reasonable time, you learnt that the hard way you open presents and your neighbour if she's not visiting her family makes you both a dinner, because she's just kind you then play until you fall asleep and then ask william to stay and cuddle, he makes sure to always have that day off from work since you came he wants to spend it with you
