Al says "ed is everything ok?" I look at him and say "yeah why?" he says "it seems like there's something on your mind, is there?" I sit up and say "yeah kind of, do you have a girl you like, as in like like" he says "yeah why?" I say "how would you tell her you like her? I've been dropping hints and well I don't think she knows, or she dose and won't say she dose"

I fall back on my bed, he says "well just tell her straight out you, could make this girl something and leave a note for her to meet you and tell her" I say "thanks al I'll do that" he laughs and says "no problem brother, also its (name) isn't it" I say "n-no! what gave you that idea al" he laughs and says "you always get embarrassed around her and tongue tied, enough to do work but not enough to hold a conversation"

I groan and say "what do? I do I mean if her dad finds out that's it poof we say good bye, he's one of the most important nobles in England" al says "yeah I'd say just tell her, where her dad cant over hear and respect her answer" I nod and say "if she says no then I'll accept it, I don't want to make an enemy of the phantomhives I've heard if you do then that's it your ruined"

A few days later I have everything set up and ready I leave her a note saying that I want to talk to her alone in the gardens at 10 tonight, I wait for her to come soon I hear "oh ed um" I say "h-hi (name)" she giggles and says "don't need to be nervous, what did you want to talk to me about? and I'm alone don't worry" I say "oh um well will you hear me out? and know I'll respect your decision whatever you decide, so will you?"

She gives a kind smile and says "of course, I always hear someone out and then make my choice on what to do next, like my father says if I think about it carefully and logically ill reach an answer that will allow me to win any game or cross roads I come to in life" good god I feel so nervous, I shouldn't I mean how long have me and al been here now and ugh

I take a deep breath and say "I like you" she smiles that smile and says "I like you to" I say "no not that I mean....like, like those gifts and notes where me I have since I saw you at that dinner, so?" her (eye colour) eyes go wide and blushes and says "o-oh, um ed if its ok c-could I think it over a-and give you my answer soon? also" also what she says "I know how you feel, I told someone I like them they said they didn't return my feelings and like them I'll take time to think carefully, and whatever my answer is ill explain why and also ill make sure my father doesn't stop his funding of you, he can see you and your brother are brilliant in what you do and have the potential to do great things excuse me"

I get back to mine and al's room he says "what did (name) say?" I sit and say "she's going to think about it, and then tell me also that we shouldn't worry about her father, so I just have to wait it's going to kill me not knowing" al laughs and says "true, well night" I just lie there thinking about what happened, I hope shell tell me soon

(Phoenix pov)

She's perfect I can see what dad means about that demon, I guess like father like son I mean she's perfect the fact she's a demon doesn't matter, I'm nothing like my father but this I know I'm his son I like girls not guys but still I find (name) doing chores I tag along with dad when he comes to watch (names) father, he gets so mad that her mother and her can touch the demon and he can't but that's his mate I hope I'm (names) mate

I've left her notes and gifts she takes them, I really hope I am her mate dad said demons get one mate and they mate for life, some are human some are demon but no demon has yet to have a reaper or angel as a mate maybe well be the first

I decide to tell (name) how I feel and if she rejects me ill stop, I know when to I'm not like dad he doesn't know when to stop I'll leave her alone if she says no but if someone hurts her ill kill them, who says I can't still want what's best so I'll just stay in the shadows if she says no

I send her a note saying I want to talk and wait, soon I hear "hello anyone here?" I jump down and say "hello (name)" she groans and says "you buzz off" I say "what?" she says "just get it over with, what do you want to say? I know your nothing like your dad but just so you know he hasn't left a good impression of reapers, also I can't stand him" I say "why?" she says "the fact he stalks my dad, tries to kiss him, hug him no one but me and my mother are allowed she is his mate I am his child, so what did you want to tell me?"

I say "um well I like you" she blinks and says "yeah so? that's old news I know you like me your just like your dad" I say "no I like, like you ok so um" her red eyes go wide, I know dad has a school girl crush on her father, but I know mine is different I say "listen (name) whatever you say, your answer if it's no just know I'll stop, ok ill back off I may be my father's son but I know when no means no so I won't stalk you don't worry" she seems surprised and she just stands there frozen

Alois

(Adrien's pov)

Fathers been here for a few weeks now, (name) is a nice girl she shows me around London it's so different from Paris she's such a nice girl, her smile it's like mothers and her eyes I've never seen someone with eyes that blue, I know I like her normally girls go after me but now I'm going after a girl

I see (name) in the garden with her mother and grandmother having tea, she looks I blush she waves I go over she says "don't need to be shy adrien we won't bite, want to join us?" I say "o-oh it's ok really?" her mother says "its ok really my father is busy with yours trying to get the shop ready"

I nod and sit next to (name), her family are so nice but her father I haven't seen she said he's away and she lives with him, I wonder why? later Nathalie says "maser adrien your father has said that well be returning to France soon" huh I say "how soon?" she says "by the end of the month since the preparations for the England shop will be complete" I nod, I've got to tell (name) that I like her

A few days later I see her alone in the garden, I go over and say "(name)" she looks up and says "hey, are you ok?" I say "um can we talk in private?" she nods and says "follow me" she leads me deeper into the garden I say "where are we going?" (name) looks back and says "a place no one will interrupt us" soon we come to a rose garden, she says "no one will come here besides my mum, no one really comes here and she's out for the day with my grandmother so we've got all the time in the world to talk"

I rub the back of my neck and say "um well, I don't know how to say it" she blinks and says "well just say whatever it is and I'll listen ok" I nod and say "um well....I like you (name), spending time with you while my father is here for work, well I've seen how amazing you are how kind and cheerful you can be....so I like you and I'm going back to France soon, since my father's work is almost finished and I wanted to tell you how I felt before I do"

She says "o-oh um, w-when is it you return?" I say "end of the month why?" she says "c-could you give me until a week before to think about it, and give you an answer then I know this is something that I'll have to think long and hard about, so will you wait?" I nod and say "I'll wait I just wanted you to know and (name), if you didn't I hope we can be friends"

She gives me that kind smile and says "of course, regardless of the outcome we can be friends, and maybe if I come to Paris you can show me around?" I nod and say "sure and I'll wait just take your time I wanted you to know"

Claude

(Edmund's pov)

I watch (name), she's perfect I will be her mate mother couldn't make claude her mate but she said I must make (name) my mate, I don't mind she's perfect her gold eyes and (hair colour) hair but for the life of me I can't find her when she leaves with her mother to go somewhere, they just disappear it irritates me I know everything about her

I find (name) alone she's smiling, something good must have happened I go over and call out to her, she looks and say "hello edmund, um did you need me? or did my parents ask you to come get me? or alois?" I say "no, I want to talk to you" she says "o-oh I'm sorry but my father has asked I finish this, so I can't talk for too long" I say "how about later say 6?" she nods and says "alright, excuse me I need to go do what father asked"

I smirk and watch her go she will be mine, I am the only one who is worthy to be her mate I know mother said claude is against anyone but a demon being her mate, my chances are high than anyone later that night I wait for (name), I sense her she says "um edmund, what did you want to talk about?" I say "about us"

She blinks and says "us? I don't follow can you maybe explain what you mean" I say "mates, me and you" she says "w-what!" I say "well?" she doesn't say anything she will be my mate that I know for sure, she says "c-can I think about it? and give you an answer in a few days, I mean having a mate is something that I believe mustn't be taken lightly, and whoever my mate is whoever he is I want to make sure I've thought it through as demons only have one mate, they can date as many demons humans or other creatures as they wish, but once they say who their mate is they are faithful to that person, and I don't want to take this decision lightly" I say "that's fine, but I truly think I'm your best choice good night"
