7. You learn the truth (like Ciel's you know she's dead but you learn how your parents met and what she's like)

You where sat in Ronald's office since he had to go see William about something Grell saw you and said "(name) why are you here, is Ronald with you?" you nodded and said "yeah he's with William seeing about work, so I have to wait here until he's ready" Grell said "what about your mother?"

You said "she's not here," Grell said "what do you mean (name)?" it was then Ronald came in and said "oh Grell senpai, let's go (name)" you went over Grell said, "Ronald where's her mother?" Ronald said "(names) mother passed when she was only a baby" Grell didn't know what to say

When you got home you said, "dad what was mum like?" Ronald said "what," you said "what was mum like? you never really told me, I know she passed when I was a baby but I want to know how and what she was like" Ronald said "alright" you both sat down, Ronald pulled you closer and put his arm around you and said, "let's see where to start?"

You said "well, you could start on how you met mum," Ronald said "alright (mothers name) was very different from other reapers," you said, "how was she different?" Ronald said "2 reasons, 1 she didn't try to go out with me like the other girls and 2 she was a half reaper, half human and half reaper," you said, "does that mean I'm part human as well?"

Ronald said "no your eyes are like mine, your mums they were blue the same colour as her brothers your mum was a reaper but had human eyes, she didn't need glasses she was a rare reaper and caught my eye the day she came to work"

You said, "so love at first sight?" Ronald said "I guess you could call it that, I was the one asked to show her around and well I messed up a lot got tongue-tied stuttered and became a total klutz, well I thought (mothers name) must have thought I was just clumsy and not how others had said"

You said "ouch you'd fallen big time huh dad" Ronald said "yeah I didn't realise it at all, after a few months I could make small talk without stuttering or causing an accident she always smiled around me, I heard off someone that she said I always brought a smile to her face even though I didn't mean to, it made me happy that I could make her smile even if I made myself look the fool in the process"

You laughed and said "so when did you ask her out?" ronald said "well soon your mum was going to work at another part of the office, so I decided to ask her out even if she didn't like me back well I could at least try to get her to, so I got her to meet me at Hyde park at the weekend" you said "so first date and she didn't know?" ronald said "yeah, I was going to tell her then I used the excuse I needed to talk to her about something to do with work"

You said, "nice one dad, so what did mum say when you told her?" Ronald said "well turns out when I told her she hugged me and we fell, she told me she had liked me for a while but didn't know if I liked her back" you giggled and said, "so you both liked each other but didn't realise it?" Ronald rubbed the back of his neck and said "yeah, every week we'd meet up at Hyde Park at that spot"

You said "that's sweet so" ronald said "then one day id got given over time last minute and well, by the time I got there (mothers name) had gone and well I thought she didn't want me anymore, I didn't see her at work either then" ronald tells you how your mother passed (read pt.1 how he raised you for the story of how she died) you looked down and said "so it happened because she was human?" ronald said "yeah william tried everything but it couldn't be over ruled, in the space of a few hours I got you and lost your mother"

You said, "what was mum like?" Ronald said "let see, (mothers name) was a sweetheart willing to do anything for anyone, she loved flowers her garden was proof of that I can imagine if she wasn't a reaper your mum would have been a florist, when you smile it's the exact same one (mothers name) would give you look just like her" you said "was mum popular like you?"

Ronald said "yes she was with the guys, though she didn't realise it she was nice to everyone and treated them equally human reaper anyone it didn't matter, if you were human or supernatural she was one of the rare ones who didn't care about the hatred reapers have for demons, it might be because she was half human" you said "oh, well I don't care if a persons a reaper or demon or whatever it's what they do that makes me not like them"

Ronald kissed your head and said "just like (mothers name)" you hugged Ronald and said "I hope I can be as amazing as mum" Ronald hugged you and said "I'm sure you will be, so don't worry just be yourself and if they don't like you for that then it's their fault they can't see what an amazing girl you are"

8. You fight

Ronald had promised to spend the day with you since he'd been working a lot lately so you waited at Hyde park for him, you couldn't wait whenever you would do this he would either surprise you or do what you wanted so you waited you heard the clock go and said "1 o'clock where are you, dad?" it got later and later in the end you went home, you heard giggling you followed the sound and saw the door open slightly you peaked in to see ronald with a girl you were in shock and went to your room

You locked your door trying to think about what you just saw, you thought 'he missed our day out for that woman, don't I matter? if he had of said he had a date then sure, I know he loves mum but not to tell me' well it hurt you it felt like he didn't care that you weren't important to him, you accepted that he would move on to another woman soon but no one would replace your mum

For the next few days you hardly spoke to him one night Ronald said "(name) is something wrong?" you said "no, why would there be?" he said "it's just you've hardly spoken to me, did I do something to make you mad?" you thought 'he doesn't realise I waited the day waiting for him, he can make it up to me by spending the day with me on his day off'

You said "no, your off on Saturday right?" ronald said "yeah, want to have a daddy daughter day?" you nodded ronald said "alright then" on Saturday you waited again for him soon it started to rain, you sat there waiting and waiting the clock rang showing it was 6, you cried and said "he promised me" you sat there crying not caring that it was raining, you felt like he didn't want you anymore you heard your name and looked to see ronald running to you with an umbrella he said "(name), why are you here?"

You glared and said "why am I here, think about it" his eyes widened and said "(n-name) I'm" you said "what, sorry I waited all day for you dad just like your last day off I waited, and you never showed up then I go home to find you well with a date you don't care about me, you don't!" you ran away Ronald shouted after you

You got home and went to your room and cried you locked the door and pushed your set of draws against it, you locked the window and closed the curtains soon you heard knocking and Ronald calling your name you didn't answer you just silently cried and thought 'he forgot, he said well spend the day together he knows we always meet there he forgot' you spent the next few days locked in your room refusing to speak to Ronald or even leave while he was in the house

9. You run away

One day while Ronald was at work you got your things and left, a few dresses the only picture you had with your mum and left you walked around and said "where do I go now? I can't go home" soon you heard "(name)" you looked to see William you ran and hugged him you cried into his suit, he was shocked and said "why are you out here, where's Ronald?" you growled when he mentioned your dad's name

William said "what happened?" you let go and said "I hate him I hate him so much, he forgot about me" william said "what?" you explained what happened he said "so, you ran away" you nodded and said "yes, he promised me twice any day off its just us if he had of said he had other plans I wouldn't have minded, but he said it would just be us I waited and waited all day he" you cried william said "you can stay at mine" you said "thank you"

10. He sees your gone

Ronald got home he said "(name)" he hoped you had come out he felt bad he went to your room to see the door open a fraction, he poked his head in and called your name but no answer he called you again and opened the door he walked in but you weren't there, after Ronald ran out the house looking for you

He spent every night looking but he had no idea where you had gone he wanted to apologise to you, when he got back he found a note on the door he read it 'I've gone, hurt me once shame on you, hurt me twice shame on me (name)'

11. He realises his mistake

It's been weeks since (name) went, why did I forget ugh I'm so stupid I bang my head on the desk I hear "what's wrong with you Ronald?" I look to see Grell I say "(names) mad at me" Grell sat on my desk and said "what did you do to make her mad? normally you have no trouble with the ladies" I say "I forgot about our date, twice and now she who knows where" Grell said "well just apologise and mean it, you're a ladies man and yet you have trouble with your daughter"

He's right ugh, I bang my head on the table again I hear "Knox" I look to see William I go over and he takes me to his office he says "do you know why you're in here?" I don't answer I honestly don't, he pushes his glasses up with his death scythe and says "your behind, causing overtime for others myself included, now why is that?" I sigh and say "(name), I made her mad at me and now she ran away, I don't know where" he said "I see, she is with me" I look at him he said "I found her in tears, she explained to me what happened why she ran away"

At least she's safe, William says "you are a disgrace as a father Ronald, you broke your promise to your daughter for a woman, I thought (mothers name) was important to you? to (name) it looked like you forgot about her and you didn't care even now she is crying herself silently to sleep at night, she said she wouldn't have minded if you had of said you had plans but you told her it would just be both of you and yet you left her until 6, waiting in the rain"

He's right, William said "just go, if you stay you will cause more trouble" I nod and say "how is (name)?" William said "fine" I leave that night I go out and see (name) will William, her eyes are red no smile there shopping she has a straight face no emotion, William said "(name)" she looked at him he said, "are you alright?" "I'm fine" she replied with no emotion just monotone

I go home and go into (names) room, as I step in I hear a crunch I looked down to see a picture of the two of us smashed, I look around to see the room was normal apart from the odd picture on the floor I collect them all up and went to the living room

I sat on the sofa and put the pictures on the coffee table and look at them, they had my face scratched out cut out or I wasn't in any of them, why would she do this? I turned them over to see messages on the back I turned them all over to see the same thing on each one 'liar, forgotten, broken promise'

Ugh, why I just want to apologise to her she's my little girl, my special little lady the only thing I have that is like having (mothers name) with me, why did I forget why?

12. You make up

William had asked you to come with him you said "where are we going?" William said "you will see when we get there" you followed and soon came to your house, you said "why are we here?" William said "this has gone on long enough, Ronald is causing trouble for everyone at work"

You said "not my problem, his punish him or whatever" William sighed and said "have you seen how he's gone since you left?" you said "no why should I care about him? he doesn't care about me he's made that pretty clear" William said "yes Sutcliff?" you looked to see Grell he said, "you managed to get (name) to come see Ronald?"

William said "almost, but she's refusing to see him he's causing more trouble at work so I have had to send him home, but it means more work for everyone" Grell said "(name) sweetie go see your father, me and William will be there as mediators, you haven't seen him have you since you ran away" you said "no, do you know why I ran away Grell?"

Grell said "a little, you had a fight," you said "he's a liar, he knows he did wrong," William said, "you should tell Grell the reason for your fight" you nodded and told him Grell said "what! he did that?" you nodded Grell said "don't worry I'm on your side (name), now go see him and I'll make him apologise to you"

You went in you saw it was dark the curtains closed William said "where is he?" you said "maybe his room" you went to Ronald's room but he wasn't there, you checked your room to see him lying on your bed looking at the ceiling Grell said "I wonder how long he's been like this? he must feel bad (name)" you said "good, he has no idea how I felt"

Grell went over and pushed him off the bed Ronald rubbed his head and said "ow" he looked to see Grell and said, "oh Grell senpai, why are you here?" Grell growled showing his teeth and said "RONALD KNOX! I thought you were better than this to hurt your sweet daughter, that's right she told me I'm with her now come here" Grell dragged him by the collar out the room and pushed him into his bedroom, Grell turned to William and said "I think I need a little talk with Ronald, and (name) be a dear and make some tea once I've cleaned this idiot up well all talk, alright"

Grell didn't give you or William chance to answer before he shut the door, you and William looked at each other William said "I'll help you make tea" you said, "um sure, is this normal for Grell?" William said "yes" soon Ronald came down with Grell, William said "now Ronald you will listen alright," Ronald said "alright" Ronald saw you his eyes widened and said "(n-name)" you glared and turned away his shoulders slumped

Grell said "now (name) at least listen to him, alright" you said "fine I'll listen" ronald said "(name) I'm sorry, I am" you said "sorry is not going to cut it, twice you forgot twice, I don't care how you spend your day off, if we have plans stick to them if you wanted to spend the day going on a date just tell me alright, so I don't look like an idiot waiting there having everyone look at me"

Ronald looked down you said "oh, and the first time you forgot I came home to see you with your date, you didn't even realise you forgot I don't care if you date I don't I get you love my mother I do and I know you'll probably find another woman but no one will replace her, so why did you blow me off the second time? I get she was the reason for the first time"

Ronald said "(name) I" you said "you know you broke your promise, you said it would just be us and yet you turn up when the day was over if you don't want to spend time with me just say, if you don't want me just say I'm fine with it I can just move out and live elsewhere let you be free of me like you were with mum, so that way you can do what you want and don't have to worry about if I'll catch you in the act"

You saliently cried Grell hugged you and said "Ronald how could you? (name) is a good girl you chose a date over your own daughter, that's something no father should do" Ronald hung his head and said "(name), how can I make it up to you? please tell me and I'll do it" you said "I don't know if I can believe you or anything you say now after this, it wouldn't have hurt if you had of said you had other plans but no you didn't"

Ronald said "please, I promise to never do this again please just tell me what to do and I'll do it" you wiped your eyes and said "fine, just tell me if you don't want to spend time with me and never ever do that again alright, if we plan something stick to it if you want to go on a date just tell me that you have other plans that day alright" ronald nodded and went to hug you as he did you moved and slapped him and said "that's for what you did, making me look like a complete and utter idiot sitting there alone waiting"

Ronald held his cheek and looked at you he nodded and thought 'just like her mother, I can keep those promises I don't want her angry at me I got lucky William and Grell where the ones she went to'

13. You get a pet

Even though you'd accepted Ronald's apology he still wanted to get something to make up for not spending the day with you twice, while he was working Grell said "something wrong Ronald?" Ronald said "I'm trying to think of a present to get (name)" Grell said "is her birthday coming up?" Ronald said "no that's a good while away, it's to make up for what I did"

Grell said, "I thought you would have known what to get her?" Ronald said "normally yes, but it harder with (name) I want to get her something to show her I really am sorry and I mean it, also that I won't ever hurt her again" Grell said "you know her better than anyone, you know what she likes if it where me I would want bassy in a ribbon and nothing else"

Ronald gave a nervous chuckle and said "um thanks, senpai" before going home Ronald passed a pet shop he saw a sign saying 'the perfect place to find a companion' Ronald said "maybe a pet? it will be some company while I'm at work"

When ronald got back home it was almost 8 he said "(name)" you didn't answer, he walked in to see you asleep at the table he went over and shook you and said "(name)" your groaned and rubbed your eye and said "daddy?" ronald said "yes, you didn't need to wait for me" you yawned and said "I didn't realise I fell asleep, you're a bit late" ronald said "yeah a little over time and I had to get something"

You said "what?" Ronald said "something for my special little lady do you want it now?" you nodded Ronald said "go sit on the sofa and I'll get it" you went to the sofa wondering what it was, Ronald came in with a small box you wondered what was in it

Ronald sat next to you and put it on your lap and said "this is for you my special little lady, my apology for what I did" you looked at ronald he said "I know you've accepted my apology, and what you did when you slapped me you were in the right I can still feel the sting got to say the man who makes you mad had better watch out if what you did to me was anything to go by, I know I work a lot but hopefully this will make you feel less lonely"

You opened the box to see a little dormouse it jumped out and got on your shoulder, Ronald said "she's yours to keep you company and I'll keep my promise ok, I don't want to lose you (name)" you hugged Ronald and said "you won't as long as you don't make me angry like before, you'll never lose me do it again and you will"

Ronald laughed and said "I won't, I don't want another slap it still hurts even now and its close to 2 months I've learnt my lesson trust me, so what's her name?" you said "good um I don't know" ronald said "well she's yours to name" you thought and said "how about dai" ronald said "that's a nice name, so do you like dai?" you said "yeah she's cute, what is she?" ronald said "a dormouse"
