Joker part 4

20. How you spend your birthday

(This is before you found your brother)

Joker always made our birthday a big event since it was the day you came into his life and that you gave him and every one someone new to add to their family, he might not know the actual day you were born so he called the day he found you your birthday

Beast said "your planning (names) birthday aren't you?" he said "yeah but what do I do for her?" she said "just spend the day with her, you go over the top each year and each year after you can't work out what to do for her that year" he chuckled and said "ya right there Beast, but what though?" she sighed and left

Joker had asked everyone they said the same just spend the day with you which he would do in the end at the moment they were in Ireland, so he decided to do something fun with you there on the day it was your birthday, he woke you up he said "morning (name)" you looked and said "morning dad" he said "get dressed and meet me at the food tent" you nodded

Soon you were at the tent on the way a lot of the troupe wished you a happy birthday you smiled at them some gave you cards and small gifts like sweets or small teddy's, you thanked them since it was the polite thing to do you made sure to but them in the tent first you went to Joker and had breakfast with him, the one advantage of having your father be Joker you got to eat early and not fight for food, after breakfast you walked with Joker holding his hand you said "where are we going?"

He said "well I need to plan the route for the parade to let everyone know where here, so why don't you help me and we can explore" you nodded smiling happy to help him, he chuckled and walked with you happy his excuse worked he did have to do that but it was mainly to spend the day with you

You looked at everything there was here it was near the ocean to, soon Joker saw you looking at something he said "what ya lookin at?" you said "nothing" he knew it was nothing he got an idea, when lunch came he said "I've gotta just go to a shop, you stay here I'll be back" you said "ok" you waited for Joker he went back to get what you were looking at, he knew you never really asked for anything unless it was important but today was your birthday and you were allowed to be a little selfish today he soon came back

After your quiet lunch, you went with him to a local sweet shop that was full of all kinds of sweet treats from here England and abroad, you didn't know what to pick the owner was kind enough to let you try a small bit of different things soon you had a big bag, Joker said "are ya sure you'll eat all that?" you looked and smiled and said "yeah! It's not just for me it's for everyone else as well" he chuckled and rubbed your head and said "never change that about ya (name), ok" you didn't understand but nodded

After you went to the beach to play for a bit enjoying the fact you got Joker all to yourself for the day, on the way back you'd fallen asleep Joker carried you smiling he out you in your bed when he got back he left his present by you to enjoy when you woke up, and a slice of cake as well he couldn't not get you a cake

21. Do you return their feelings?

(Your pov)

I read the letter over, what oh god! if dad Kase or any of the others see they'll follow even the girls, id better let them know but I don't know the guy, so how can I say if I like him or not? but I'd better meet him I get dressed while putting my note with the others in small box that I have the key for, they won't look since it's for my eyes only and I said it has important things in which it does my locket

I walk to the park it's beautiful, I wonder what he looks like? I hope he's cute but if we do get together then I hope he can perform at least, I sit on the bench I look at my prosthetic, what if when he sees this he doesn't like me? when I'm performing I can hide it with my costume, and also the audience aren't that close to see it clearly I know from what dad and everyone said people most times don't like what's different, I just hope this guy isn't the same I soon see a guy with long silver hair come over wait is that the guy Woah

He sits by me he is he is ok calm down (name), it's like when you confessed to that guy ok you know how it feels to confess, he says "so you did come" oh my god he's French, but can speak great English I nod and say "yes" he said "could I know your answer?" I say "well I don't really know you too well, this is the first time we've actually ever met or talked so"

He said "that's correct, but maybe we can get to know each other first" I nod and say "sure, but my family owns a circus so we never stay in one place too long, we always move after a while" he nodded and you both got talking you found out his name was Leon and that he was a world-class trapeze artist, and the best in France he learnt about you that me that I had a brother a father and my family ran the circus

I'm best going home its getting late I say "I'm best going" he said "your answer?" oh yeah I'm best giving my answer I mean we can try I say "oh um sure, we can try I mean there's no harm also something came up so my dad said well be here for a while longer" he nodded I go home, I wonder what will happen next we aren't dating yet

22. How you get a boyfriend

Things with you and Leon didn't work out, he explained how he was working with Kaleido stage and you told him to stay there, you'd feel bad if you were the reason a circus lost one of its best workers which he understood but you did become good friends in the end plus you could see he liked the girl he worked with, at the moment you were with beast looking at the new city and wondering around it was another town in America

When you got back you saw Joker giving some of the new recruits the test to see if they passed, you saw a blonde boy who looked about Kase's age give or take a year or two he was doing the trapeze, you were amazed at this at how easy he made it look

Soon you were asked to show the new recruits around that guy was in the group you explained about how it worked one said "what about you, are you first or second string?" you looked and said "I'm first I do (act), also just because my dad is the ringmaster Joker doesn't mean I got it because of that, I worked hard" you wanted to stop them thinking Joker just gave it to you, the blonde boy said "what happened to your (arm or leg)?" you said "oh, I was born like that missing that part of me, all the ones who are in first string are like me missing something, or seen as the unwanted by most"

They were confused a girl said "but everyone seems alright?" you said "my dad missing his arm, Beast and Dagger a leg, Doll something with her eye, Jumbo people got scared of how strong he was, Snake because he looks like he has scales on his skin and Wendy and Peter they have the bodies of children there not, their adults so where all a little broken in one way or another, but we wouldn't change that about any of us it makes us who we are"

The group nodded soon Joker was giving stage names out and rooms, he said "you don't have to use the stage name if ya don't want, but it's what you'll be known as when ya perform" they nodded you found out the boy was called Yuri and he was half Russian, you showed him to his tent he was rooming with a few others he didn't mind you got talking to him you found out his father died while performing but it didn't stop him

Over the next few months, the girls noticed you had been spending a lot of time with Yuri and seemed very close Beast Wendy and Doll watched at a distance, Yuri asked you to watch his new routine he was looking for a partner to perform with when it was over you said "that was amazing Yuri!" he smiled and said "thank you (name)" you smiled he'd fallen for you, he said "could I ask you a question?" you said "sure what?" he said "would you like to go out?" your eyes went wide and slowly you went red and said "um I" he chuckled and said "well?" you nodded he smiled, the three watching cursed not being able to see or hear what you were saying, pretty soon you and Yuri where dating

23. Your dad meets your boyfriend and finds out

You had been spending a lot of time with Yuri everyone thought it wasn't really strange since everyone helped each other get better at their act, Yuri said "is everything ok (name)?" you looked up he said "well?" you said "no just lost in thought for my act that's all" he said "alright, but when are you going to let me meet your family, as your boyfriend" you said "oh well I'm trying to work out how when I do you don't get kicked out, and be used as a target" he chuckled and kissed your head and said "it'll be ok" you nodded

You were in your tent Kase said "so what's on your mind?" you looked and said "a friend I made in the town here asked me how do you tell your family you're with someone, and not have the males in the family kill the poor guy and some of the girls to" he sat and said "that's though, each guy is different and dads do tend to be protective, is she the baby?" you nodded and said "yeah, like me youngest and the only girl"

He said "I see best thing is at a family dinner or just have them meet the guy, it's like when you have a plaster on rip it off less painful" you nodded and said "thanks, I'll let her know" so you decided to take your brothers advice and have everyone meet Yuri, you decided it to be while they were doing rehearsal and luckily that day Joker had asked Yuri to perform in the show, you said "um dad" Joker looked and said "yes?" you held your arm and said "I have something to tell you, well everyone and well"

He smiled and said "ya can tell us anything (name)" you said "ok well meandYuriaregoingout" he said "Woah, ok next try taking a breath and say it not all at once" you took a breath closed your eyes and said "me and Yuri are going out" you peaked thought one eye and saw everyone was froze, you said "um" they all said "WHAT!?" you said "we are, I needed to tell you all but I was scared you'd kick Yuri out, or use him as target practice I" Joker knelt and wiped your tears that you didn't realise you'd started crying

He said "(name) we'd never do that ok, but how long?" you said "um about a month after he'd joined, I just didn't know how to say and I know you all want to look out for me, especially you and Kase after what happened" Joker nodded and said "we do because you're always going to be the baby to us, we just want to protect you and not have you grow up so fast" you gave a small nod, they all went to Yuri and had a quiet word, aka hurt her and well make you the practice dummy and target

Joker came over and said "(name)" you looked he said "we had a word with him, and as long as you are happy we are even if we don't want you to have a boyfriend just yet, but be careful we don't want any kids running around" you squeaked and went bright red and said "dad!" he chuckled in the end it went better than you thought, at least Yuri could stay and not be kicked out

24. Halloween

You'd been invited by some lord who'd seen the show to perform for his Halloween party, Joker had given you the night off to enjoy the party it was costume you and Yuri were going to go in matching costumes, in the end you'd both decided Cinderella and wouldn't see what the other was wearing until the party

Soon it was time for the party you came out in your costume everyone loved it, you still helped with things Yuri came out when he did a lot of girls were asking him out, he politely said he had someone and was here with them the other's performance went great, everyone loved it after you all got to enjoy the party which they did it was rare they got to do things like this
