Joker part 1 so first new daddy to be added for a while let me just clarify some things first part will be set during book of circus and no joker won't die unless I do a scenario in the future with the father dying, joker might be with beast he might not I have no idea yet, and I won't say if the daughter does or doesn't know about what the circus really dose or not, as that gives me more creative freedom and yes there may be references to a certain circus musical in this, and any other dad I add from the book of circus so enjoy

1. How they came to raise you

Joker was walking around a town he decided to take a walk, it was the middle of the night clear no clouds you could see the stars shining brightly, he sighed he was having an inner conflict of the job he had to do for father, he looked at his hand and said "I'm grateful really for what he's done......but those kids just what happens to them once we take them to him" he looked at the sky and said "what should I do?"

Nearby there was an abandoned house with a faint light coming from it, inside was a boy he was holding a baby he looked at her and said "what do I do? they haven't come back and I can't take care of you" he looked at the sleeping baby who was only a few days old, he hugged the baby and said "I guess your all I have left huh, don't worry I'll make sure you have a good life I promise" he left after a little while, the boy was in the area joker was as he walked he heard music and followed it, curiosity got the better of the boy he was still young yet had to grow up fast

Joker was doing a solo job not knowing what would happen next would change not just your life but his your older brothers life a lot, soon joker saw a boy carrying a baby walk this way he thought 'no, he's not old enough to be the baby's father' soon the boy was by the carriage you whimpered, joker came down the boy said "are you here to grant my wish sir?" joker knelt and said "what do ya mean?" the boy looked at you and said "to give her a better life" you looked at joker and cooed, you held his prosthetic willingly you weren't scared

Joker said "where are ya, parents? I mean there newborn" your bother said "they've gone, they said they'd be back but that was just after my mother had my sister" joker was shocked he looked at your brother, he could see the love he had for you, he said "what's her name?" your brother said "she doesn't have one, our parents didn't say a name what they wanted to call her"

Joker sighed he said "tell ya what I'll make ya a deal" your bother looked at him joker said "I'll take ya sister give her a good life but in return you go in that carriage go where it takes ya and give this note to the person who meets you where that carriage stops got it" your brother nodded joker thought 'I have to make sure the boy lives and father wants a kid but she deserves to know her family blood that is when she's older'

Joker wrote a note and gave it to the boy and said "don't worry when she's older I'll bring you to her" he smiled hugging joker and thanked him joker knelt he thought about it and said "actually I have a better idea for you, there was a nice family who was saying how they wanted to take in a young lad so go there" he said "but what about?" joker said "it's ok, don't ya worry about that carriage" your brother nodded and took off a necklace and gave it to you and said "you'll make sure she keeps that right? it was our grandmothers" joker kindly smiled and said "of course I will, don't ya worry" he took your brother to the family they welcomed him in joker would keep the promise, he looked at you he walked with you and said "you're a keeper all right, now what to name ya?" he walked and said "how about......(name)?" you cooed at that he chuckled and said "(name) it is, there don't worry you'll see ya big brother one day I'll make sure of it" you wouldn't let go of his prostatic finger, you had a (stuffed animal) with you as well joker put the necklace on that so it would be safe

2. Sick

Joker had you in your cot while you watched him practice his magic and act you would giggle and clap when he did certain things, he looked at you with a bit of a sad smile you were like the others here, missing something he figured that's why your parents abandoned you and your brother, and your brother hadn't seen you had (arm or leg) missing, joker pet your head you held his prosthetics hand and nuzzled your face into it he picked you up and set you down on the ground, he knelt and said "now be a good girl for me, I need to go and talk to someone kay"

You nodded and said "kay" he said "that's ma girl" he went out yours and his shared tent, you saw a frog it jumped by you and being curious you followed it the best you could being 3, joker had to have eyes everywhere he was right outside the tent talking about the next show, when you got out you looked at him then followed the frog you said "wait mistwr fwoggy come back!" you giggled following

After a bit you tripped on a stone and fell into some water you squeaked in surprise and cried, joker heard he ran over and said "oh my little trickster what happened?" you hugged his neck he rubbed your back, he said "let's get you cleaned up huh" he took you back giving you a bath, he didn't want you sick but too late you sneezed he said "oh boy" you looked at him and said "I-I sowy daddy" joker knelt and said "now next time will you listen to me and stay in the tent until I come to take you out?"

You nodded and said "yes daddy, but I wanted to follow the fwogy" he said "next time let me know so I can come and help you" you nodded, he wrapped you up and lay you in bed he got doctor and like joker thought you had a cold, so joker would lie with you in his bed read to you, keep the heater by the bed even if he was sweating buckets he'd suffer for you

3. You meet the others

You had met some of the members of the circus beast, dagger and such there was a few first-string members you hadn't met, you had heard your dad talk about dagger and snake but you'd never seen them, so you decided to find them you were walking around the camp you had your (stuffed animal) joker kept your necklace safe for you, since once time you had lost it off your teddy

You saw a tent and heard hissing you slowly walked over a bit curious at what the sound was, soon you saw eyes you squeaked and dropped your (stuffed animal) running you heard "what is this says Oscar?" you looked from behind a tree to see snake, you watched he said "there is someone watching us says Emily" "maybe there the one that dropped the (stuffed animal) says wild"

You saw snake come over you hid a little he said "did you drop this says Emily?" you peaked out and saw your (stuffed animal), you nodded he gave it to you the snakes hissed you squeaked, he thought you were scared of him you said "w-will they hurt me?" snake shook his head you hugged your (stuffed animal) and started to slowly get to know him, you learned a little about him you weren't too fond of his snakes he made sure they stayed away from you as you talked to him

4. First word

You were playing with some of jokers juggling balls that where soft, he let you since they couldn't do any harm you where sat in the practice tent watching them do a rehearsal of the show for tonight, you watched dagger throw daggers you always watched them, doctor had said at the moment you were too little for a prosthetics but in a few months would be big enough, joker was glad of that

You threw a ball at dagger it hit his head you giggled, he said "why does (name) hate me?" joker said "she don't dagger, she's playing aren't you" you giggled one of the tiger cubs came over you giggle petting them it purred

Joker knew beast wouldn't let anything happen to you, soon joker was carrying you he took you to get some food he had you on his lap he fed you and you being a baby threw some at others, and dagger ended up being the target he said "why does she hate me?" joker said "you just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time"

Soon you were trying to reach for your (stuffed animal), you pouted and said "wan" he looked you pointed and said "wan, wan" he chuckled and picked you up he was proud you spoke but wasn't happy it was want he didn't want you to be a brat and say you want everything

5. First day of school

You were practising one of the circus acts you were acting you heard joker call you, you looked and said "yeah dad" he said "I've got something to tell you" he was smiling you said "what, what" you could tell it was something good by his smile, he said "you're going to school!" that smile went you said "s-school? As in with other kids?" he nodded you said "but I'm homeschooled? Since we move a lot because of the circus" he said "well I've changed that for a while, long enough for you to go to" you glanced at your prosthetic

Joker said "(name)?" you looked he said "what's wrong?" you said "I-I don want to go dad, th-they'll" he said "you mean your (arm or leg)" you nodded and said "yeah" he lifted your chin and said "it'll be ok, I promise" you looked down joker sighed

Soon you were at school with joker you held his hand, he said "it'll be ok" you nodded you where self-conscious about your prosthetic around strangers you knew how cruel they could be, the teacher showed you around soon you were in class you kept to yourself soon some of the others in class started to talk to you one said "what does your family do?" you said "oh um we work at the circus" one said "wait, don't circuses move around a lot?" you said "yeah, my dad decided to not for a bit so I could come to school"

A guy said "which one?" you said "oh um Noah's ark" a girl said "wait you mean that really famous one!" you said "um yeah" you tugged your clothes to hide your prosthetic, soon you were getting lunch you waited in line soon you were looking for a table as you did you bumped into someone you fell showing your prosthetic, someone made a comment about it everyone looked you ran out and hid you said "this would happen I knew it!"

Soon you were heading home joker said "hey!" you looked and said "hey dad" he said "what's wrong?" you said "i-it's nothing" he said "it's not nothing, come on" you said "it's nothing, just a bit unsure about school" he said "give it time ok, things will get better" you nodded and hoped they would

6. Father's day

You were helping dagger with something he said "so what are ya getting him?" you looked and said "get who what?" dagger said "joker, for father's day" you said "oh, that I haven't thought about that" he said "you'll think of something" you nodded and went back to your tent and thought about what you could do for him or get him, you said "it completely slipped my mind, father's day what can I get dad?" you decided to talk a walk at the town you were currently in to get ideas, but nothing caught your eye

You came back and heard joker talking you peaked and listened he said "how it looking?" peter said "not too good, if this isn't done then we can't do the show" joker said "nothing we can do, let's try to complete it" peter nodded and left, when they went you went over to see what they were on about you saw that it was the costumes needed repairing, you said "that's it? easy enough" you sat there fixing the clothes you soon fell asleep, the next day joker went to look for you he found you in a pile of costumes he said "(name)?" he gently shook you, you looked and said "daddy?" you where sleepy still he picked you up and took you to bed, you hugged his neck

He put you to bed and covered you he kissed your head and said "thank you" he smiled and left and thought 'what did I do to deserve you huh?>'
