Grell

Grell just walked into work and everyone was looking at him and whispering he said "ok strange? but what can I say I'm fabulous!" he went to his desk and sat in his chair putting his feet on the desk, it was then Ronald said "Grell, William wants to see you" Grell jumped up and said "what for?" Ronald said "I don't know, he just asked me to come to get you it sounded important" Grell said "important?" he was confused, Ronald said "yeah the kind of important, that if you don't come now its overtime until we see the next millennium in, and with no pay type of important" Grell said "I got it" he shuddered thinking of doing that much over time, he went to Williams office and said "Will you want to see me?"

William said "yes sit down and close the door" Grell did and said "are you finally going to tell me you love me?" William said "no don't be disgusting" Grell pouted and said "awe, so what did you want?" William said "you have no clue do you Sutcliff" Grell shrugged and said "no, all I was told was that you needed to see me, and it was urgent?" William said "yes very" William bent down to pick you up and showed you to Grell, he fanboyed over you saying how cute you were and how he wanted to hold you

William let him, you woke up startled and started to cry Grell said "shh I'm sorry, shh don't cry" William smacked Grell on the head with his death scythe you giggled, Grell said "ow you didn't need to do that!" William said "just shut up, sit down and listen to me" Grell sat down with you in his arms, you held his fingers sucking them, William said "Sutcliff that child is yours" Grell said "what! that can't be right" William said "here, this is the note that was left with her outside my office" 'Grell this is your daughter, take responsibility for her, don't worry she has everything, she needs you just need to move it to your place William should have all the information you need, man up and be a father she is yours and don't try to deny it, I haven't been with anyone other than you so don't try and back out, I can't look after her she's better with you her father you may be a red-headed drama queen but you are her father see ya'

Grell was in shock William took you and gave you a dummy to suck on and said "Sutcliff, you need to get your act together for her" Grell snapped out of it and just looked at you he said "does she have a name?" William said "no, the only other information was of the place where her items are, and the day she was born" Grell said "when was she born?" William said "(day) (month)" Grell said "what! that was only Monday" William said "yes, it is now Wednesday, here your daughter, for now, you are to work from home" Grell took you he just looked at you, William sighed and said "Sutcliff you need to give her a name" Grell nodded and said "(name), that's what I'll call you, (name) so this is why everyone was whispering when they saw me?"

William said "yes now both of you can leave my office, here is the address where her items are it seems you don't need to buy furniture and clothes for a while, just nappies and milk" Grell took the piece of paper off William and left Ronald came up and said "Grell who's the baby?" Grell said "my daughter (name)" you were playing with Grell's hair, Ronald said "what! that baby is yours?" Grell nodded and said "yeah, it seems I'll be working from home" Ronald looked at you, he smiled and said "I'm sure she's gonna be a beauty when she's older" Grell said "hey back off!" pulling you away and closer to his chest, Ronald said "whoa, didn't peg you as the overprotective type?" Grell shrugged and left to get your things

Undertaker

Undertaker was cleaning a body up when he heard a knock at his door he stopped what he was doing to see who it was when he looked he didn't see anyone he looked down to see a small basket with a note, he picked it up and went back in he set the basket down on top of a coffin, and looked to see what was in the basked it was you he picked you up and held you and said "well now what's a baby doing here? you're not here for one of my coffins your still breathing" as undertaker held you, he looked at the note 'undertaker this is your child, your daughter she is your responsibility, please look after her' there was no name of who your mother was, undertaker, had an idea of who it was and said "well now my dear it seems your my daughter"

You opened your eyes he laughed and said "there's no denying you're a reaper with those eyes, but I never would have guessed a child" you just looked at undertaker he said "let's see, from what I can tell you were born on (day) (month), and it seems you don't have a name" you started to cry undertaker said "I know" he then went on to make you laugh, you gave a full belly laugh undertaker laughed as well and said "well now there's no denying you are mine with how you laughed, now your name I'll call you (name)" you smiled undertaker said "I see, you love to laugh (name)" he put you back into the basket, while he made you a little coffin for your bed after he went and got you necessities such as nappies, milk and clothes since it seems you only had what you had on

William

William was stuck doing overtime again thanks to a certain red-haired reaper, William sighed as he finished the last piece of work he took his glasses off and rubbed his eyes, after he put them back on and said "he is going to pay for this, I don't have time to clean his mess up" he got up got his death scythe and left, as he did he was knocked over and looked to see who it was one of the new reapers in the administration department, she had short plum hair and said "s-sorry" he sighed and said "next time be aware of your surroundings"

She said "yes sir, um are you Mr Spears" William said "yes why?" he dusted himself off and helped the girl up, she said "um, I was told to give you this sir" she passed him a piece of paper and left William said "hopefully it's not more overtime" he read it his eyes widened and he ran home when he did he went to his room and said "(mothers name)" she looked at him, he went over and sat on their bed

Your mum gave him a small smile, William said "(mothers name)?" he was confused she coughed he said "are you alright?" she shook her head it was then the door opened, William saw a doctor he said "are you, her husband?" William nodded and said "yes, why?" the doctor said "can I have a word in private" as he was talking to the doctor, the nurse gave you to your mum, you were awake she kissed your head and said "(name), always love your father, ok he might be grumpy, seem mean, cold and nasty but he's not ok, he loves us both very much and always will he'll show us kindness love to us, even if you don't see it, he dose"

You squealed, your mum smiled at you and said "remember that (name), he loves you, even if he doesn't show it with actions and gestures he dose" William came in he'd heard everything your mum had said to you, he didn't want to interrupt, he sat on the bed and said "why didn't you say love?" your mum kissed his cheek and said "so you wouldn't worry, but it seems that now" he hugged her and said "you should have said, I could have had time off for you, for (name) I could have helped you"

Your mum said "you're too important to them to have time off, and besides if you did think what would happen? it would stop working all together someone needs to keep an eye on everyone be firm but fair, strict but kind you've had some wonderful practice for (name)" your mum giggled William rolled his eyes and sighed, he said "yes, your right (mothers name), but my daughter won't be like them, I know she will be like her mother"

Your mum looked at you and said "no I think you, here daddy's here now (name)" William took you when he did you squealed and kicked you loved William, even though you were not even a month old for a few hours William and your mum talked laughed played with you, they talked about anything and everything from when they met to now, it was then a voice said "excuse me I'm sorry to interrupt"

Your parents looked your mum looked down and silently cried, William, said "are you?" they nodded and said "yes, I am a reaper for reapers, I reap them and I can see you do not wish for your wife mother of your child to go, correct?" William put his arm around your mum and said "yes, but it must be done" they nodded and said "yes, she is a good woman a good wife and a wonderful mother, if I could I would allow her to stay, but she is on my list and as you know we must follow the list"

William saw a pair of eyes not yellow/green eyes but purple/blue they took their hood down to show a young girl, she was in all black but had flowers of death around her lilies of all kinds black roses just to name a few and others she had long blond hair in half pigtails that were fixed in place with lilies on the left and roses on the right her scythe wasn't seen she walked over and said "I am sorry about this, no child should lose their parent they have yet to know, and no husband their wife, have you said your goodbyes?"

William said "yes" your mum kissed your head and said "could I ask a request of you?" the girl said "of course I am fair, I allow one be it to see family or friends to say goodbye, what is it you want it to be?" your mum said "a picture of my family, of me and my husband, me and my child and me, my daughter is almost a month she won't remember my voice or remember what I look like if she has these pictures she will know what I look like please"

The girl nodded she made a camera appear and say "many request this, just let me know when you are ready?" a few minutes later the pictures were taken the girl said "I've finished, anymore?" William looked at your mum she said "no those are enough" William hugged your mum she hugged back, she was scared she didn't want to die, no one does, she cried William pulled apart and using his free hand wiped the tears with his thumb and kissed her forehead and said "I will be here love, you are not alone no"

Your mum nodded the girl went over and said "I am sorry truly" William watched the cinematic records you woke up and watched trying to reach William said "you can't (name), watch" you did your mum held your hand the entire time stroking it with her thumb, you held her finger soon you started to cry William said "(name)?"

He looked the girl was gone, he knew he took you to the nursery and put you to bed and went into his room he saw a book and note on the dresser, he picked the note up and read it 'my parting gift, the least I could do for your daughter' William chuckled and said "she was kind, that reaper" he went downstairs and sat on the sofa, he looked through the book it was like a photo album but slightly different some of the pictures moved like cinematic records

William's eyes widened he got to the last page and saw the photos that were taken there were some extra, he closed the book and saw what was on the front (mothers name), William and (name)

It was then the house phone went, William answered it was his boss he said "William why aren't you in work?" William looked at the time he said "sir, I have a request" his boss said "what is it? you rarely are never in the last time was when your child came" William said "it's my wife......she" it was then his boss said "I understand, I just got a note, take as much time as you need off you are on paternity leave, your child is but a baby and needs her parent, I will find someone just as capable to fill in until you return" William said "I understand sir, thank you and goodbye" he hung up and went to your nursery William sat in the chair and watched you sleep, he sighed and said "what do I do now?"

Ronald

Ronald was working he sighed he just wanted to get home and relax for once he didn't have a date, he was sat on the roof board a voice asked "Mr Knox what are you doing?" Ronald looked to see William he said "nothing sir, Grell senpai's chasing after his Bassy as he puts it"

William said "I see, more overtime for myself no doubt, where is your to die list?" Ronald said "Grell senpai has it" William's eye twitched he pushed his glasses up with his death scythe and said "very well follow me, I have a copy of your to die list, you have one more person and you are done for the night" Ronald nodded and followed William

(the house)

Soon they came to the address it was a nice home with a garden full of flowers around the gate was a rose arch, William said "strange this must be some mistake? but the lists are never wrong" Ronald asked "is something wrong?" William said "no let's wait, there is not long left until we collect the soul" they both entered and waited, Ronald thought 'this place seems familiar?' it was then a voice said "good that's right (mothers name), one more" Ronald's eyes widened and asked "what's the name of the soul sir?"

William looked at the list and said "her name is (mothers full name), why?" Ronald didn't answer he burst in through the door to see your mother holding you, she smiled and said "hello there little one, you're so beautiful and well worth that pain" you cried she said "you look just like your father" she then hugged you Ronald was rooted to the spot, your mother looked over her eyes widened she said "R-Ronald!?" he walked over and asked her "why didn't you tell me?"

Ronald looked at you he stroked your (hair colour) hair which was only a little amount, your mother said "I'm sorry, I waited but you never showed, soon I thought you forgot about me, you have a daughter" Ronald picked you up

You opened your eyes signature reaper eyes he smiled you went to touch his face, William came in and said "Mr Knox you know this lady? and why are you holding a baby?" Ronald said "this is (mothers name) and, my child" William came over and said "I see" your mum asked "W-William why are you here as well?" William said "I'm sorry (mothers name) but, look" he showed her the to die list her eyes widened and said "i-it must be some mistake"

William shook his head and said "it's not, I will give you both a moment" William left, you just looked at your parents unknowing of what was going on Ronald said "(mothers name), I'm sorry I" your mother put her finger on Ronald's lips and said "it's alright" she took her finger away and continued "at least I know she has you, Ronald, she won't be alone now I have everything she needs here, she won't be in an orphanage or on the streets shell be safe with her father"

Ronald said "I'm sorry I really am, I should have come to see you but now why" your mum touched his free hand and said "it's alright Ronald, I haven't given her a name, I wanted you to help me pick one for her" Ronald sat on the bed he put his arm around your mum and passed you to her, he kissed her head and said "(mothers name), I'm so sorry I thought you didn't want me"

Your mum looked at him and said "Ronald I could never not want you, I love you too much when we started going out I was happy, and you gave me the greatest gift only you can give, so a name for our daughter" Ronald played with you and said "I always liked the name, (name) for a girl" your mum nodded and kissed your cheek, you cooed she said "yes, (name) (middle name) (mothers last name)-Knox, it suits her perfectly don't you think?"

Ronald nodded and said "yes it does, I just wish that" your mum kissed him and said "it must be done Ronald, just promise me something" Ronald looked at (mothers name), she gave the same kind smile he fell in love with and said "be there for her, make sure she's raised right protect her alright, can you promise me that love" Ronald nodded he kissed your mum and said "I will I'll make sure she's loved and never alone and knows how much you love her like me, I don't want you to go, not now after we"

You yawned and closed your eyes your mum said "take her, go to daddy (name)" Ronald took you and said "never thought I'd be called daddy, I like it, yes (name) daddy's here" your mum smiled and said "yes be a good father Ronald, know I always love you no matter how much time passes I will always love you and only you, your my one and only soul mate the missing piece of my heart" Ronald said "me too, I always love you and I always will (mothers name), no one can replace you, love"

It was then William came in and said "have you said your goodbyes?" your mum nodded and said "William isn't there any other way?" William said "there is not (mothers name), I am sorry I didn't even know you were seeing Ronald" Ronald said "yeah, what will happen now?" William said "I will reap (mothers name) soul, and you will go on paternity leave and work from home to take care of your child"

Your mum asked "Ronald can I ask one last thing of you?" Ronald said "what love?" your mum motioned him over, he sat on the bed she wrapped her arm around his back and rested her head on his shoulder, he put his free arm around her shoulder while you were asleep in the middle, each of them had an arm around you it looked like a love heart and you were the centre, Ronald kissed your mums head she said "William could you take a picture of the 3 of us, please? I want just one so (name) will" William said "alright" he took the picture your mum said "thank you William" he then took one of you and your mum after your mum went to how she was before

William said "it's time" your mum nodded, Ronald tightened his hug on her and kissed her head he silently cried as William reaped her soul, Ronald looked up and watched the records, he picked you up you had woken up, he said "look there's mummy" you cooed after William said "I will leave you be, once you have finished here return to the office" Ronald nodded, once William was gone he broke down, in the space of a few hours he had become a father and lost the one girl he truly loved after just finding her again
