7. You learnt the truth

(Like anyone who's lost their mum in this book you learn about her as a person)

You had been wondering about your mother, you walked down the hall and heard Bard and Meyrin talking to Finny so you listened in, Meyrin said "Finny you need to tell (name) about her mother, she's old enough now" Bard said "yeah, I mean she's got to be curious why she's got no mother and where she is" finny said "I know, but it's how to tell (name)?" he sighed Bard patted his shoulder and said "I know it's hard, but you need to say" Meyrin said "maybe wait until she brings it up, that way she asks you and it saves you working out how to bring it up" Bard said "yeah, just tell her the truth that's the best thing, be honest and explain it to her so she understands" he nodded

You walked away and said "I have wondered about her, where is she what happened? I'll ask dad in a little bit" a few weeks later you were helping finny in the garden you said "daddy" he looked and said "yes (name)" you said "where's my mum?" he said "why do you ask?" you said "I never see her, and I wondered where she is and what she's like" he said "let's go somewhere quiet ok" you nodded, soon you were in a quiet part of the garden you sat with him he said "what do you want to know (name)?"

You thought and said "where is she?" Finny said "it's a very long story" you nodded and listened, he told you how they met when they were experimented on, he didn't tell you that just they knew each other from years ago then went separate ways, he came here and your mother wherever she went then she came here and soon passed, you said "so she died when she had me?" you were smart but innocent finny nodded, you looked at him and said "does that mean you're not my daddy then?" you had the start of tears in your eyes

Finny said "I'm not the one who (mothers name) was with to have you, but she asked me to be your daddy" you sniffled finny hugged you and said "Bard said that it still makes me your dad" you looked and said "how? I thought a dad was the one who was with your mum" he said "Bard said sometimes you can be a dad, and a dads someone who's there who helps you" you said "like you did with me" he nodded, you hugged finny more and asked him about your mother, he told you everything about her that he could remember by the end you where fast asleep

13. You get a pet

You'd been doing good with helping around the manor and your chores, finny wanted to get you something he was in the garden thinking about it when he heard a noise he followed it and saw a little white fluff ball, it made a sound he went over it looked it was a little bird its little leg was hurt, he put it in his hat and took it in and got Sebastian to look at it

Sebastian saw and said "it's hurt its leg, but is fine once it's healed set it free" Finny said "um is it ok if I give it to (name) as a pet?" Sebastian said "I suppose so as long as it doesn't cause trouble" finny nodded and smiled, over the next few weeks finny treated the bird once it was better he put it in a cage and went to find you, Sebastian noticed he was gentle with it and hadn't hurt it more you were playing with Pluto, finny said "(name)!" you looked and ran over

He took you in you said "where are we going?" he smiled and took you to your room and said "wait here" you nodded sitting on the bed, finny left and soon came with the cage you looked and said "aww it's so cute daddy!" finny let it out you held it, the bird looked at you it chirped finny said "it's for helping a lot and being good" you smiled and said "I love it! My own pet" Finny said "what are you gonna name your pet?" you thought and said "I'm gonna name them.....cotton"

14. How you spend Christmas

Christmas was one of Finny's favourite holidays and yours to, even though he was an adult he still believed in Santa Bard and Meyrin had told him that Santa visits kids more than adults, they didn't have the heart to tell him but with his past they could understand, you said "what do you think Santa will bring daddy?" he said "I don't know, only Santa does" you nodded on Christmas day you woke up early and woke finny up you both ran to the tree to see what presents had been left, you knew some presents where from the others and not Santa

You opened all your presents they were things you wanted, you thanked everyone and played you had fun with Finny playing in the show with your presents everyone had fun

15. You have a crush

(Your pov)

Me and Sebastian are in London where in a gardening shop dads busy with gardening so I'm keeping Sebastian company, he says "(name) I will leave choosing which flowers and such to get to you, I will go and sort what else the garden needs" I nod he gives me a list and says "please get these flowers along with any you believe will be good in the garden" I nod again and go to look around the garden shop, making sure I get what he wanted first then I can look around at what I want to add

After Sebastian says "(name) why don't we go get what else is needed around London?" I nod and say "alright Sebastian" Sebastian's like a big brother or uncle, I loved spending time with him he teaches me things that dad doesn't know about gardening, though that's not much since he taught dad everything he knows about plants and things, soon I see a lot of people around something I look at Sebastian and "Sebastian what's going on there? is it a performer or an event?" he went over and said "no it doesn't look like that, it seems that someone of importance from overseas has come over" oh maybe ciel will have them visiting, if they do I hope there's someone my age to talk to not that I don't like everyone but there older than me

Soon we get back and ciel tells Sebastian to get things ready I say "ciel what's going on?" he said "a guest is coming to stay, someone the queen has asked I let them stay for a few days there from where Tanaka is from Japan, also they have a child your age" I smile and say "ok ill have someone to talk to" ciel smiled and said "yes, I was going to ask you keep them company (name)" I say "I don't mind at all! I'm glad I can help" he chuckled and went I wonder what they're like? I hope they're nice and I wonder if there a guy or girl, I guess I'll find out soon

A few weeks later I see a carriage pull up ciel got me a new dress, I look how lady Elizabeth dose we all wait outside, Sebastian opens the door I see a scary man step out, I hold dads hand and hide a little I hope his kid isn't scary, I know dads scared as well ciel greets the man, after I see a boy why do my cheeks feel warm? Soon I show him around he's very quiet I say "um" he looked I say "do you want to see the garden?" he just nods I hope we can be friends and he talks to me

16. You tell your crush you like them

(Your pov)

I found out his names Shoto and his dads important in Japan, I wonder why I feel like I do? maybe Meyrin will know I don't want to ask lady Elizabeth shell tell everyone and I don't want that, I find her and say "Meyrin" she jumps and looks I say "why do I feel like this?" she seems confused she knees and says "feel like what?" I say "well when I'm around someone, my cheeks feel warm and I go all shy and my stomach feels like it has butterfly's" she chuckles and says "I'd say you like them" I say "I do like them!" she gently shakes her head and says "no I mean like, like it's like how Finny liked your mother"

Oh I say "so, I love him? But I don't feel like this around others I love like you, Bard my dad" she says "it's a special kind of love, the love you have for us and everyone else is that of friends and family" I say "oh! what should I do now?" she says "well you should tell this person, because someone else might feel like this and if they do, and you don't tell them that other person might get the person you like" I say "oh, but what if he has someone? or already likes someone else?" she says "well only they know, but unless you tell this person you'll never know if they feel the same because they might not have someone"

I say "it's complicated, why do I get feelings like this?" she says "I don't know, but it's all a part of growing up but once you say you'll feel better I promise" I nod and say "ok, I'm going to work out how to tell them" I leave how do you tell someone you like, like them? I decide to do some gardening to help maybe I'll get an answer, Sebastian's been teaching me the meaning of the flowers I pull the weeds and hear something I follow it I see him, what's he doing?

I watch from behind the tree, is he working out? I feel my face go red h-he's topless! I look away my face feels like it's on fire, he's so different from boys I know but he's very kind, even if he's quiet and sometimes harsh I hear "I know someone's there come out!" I come out looking down he says "oh it's only you" I say "I-I'm sorry, I didn't mean to I was doing some gardening and heard you" he says "whatever" before I realise it I say "I like you!" he looked, oh no I said that out loud! I run away I'm so embarrassed I didn't want to tell him like that! I hear people calling my name but I run right to my room and close my door and hide under my bed, I see cotton and say "I'm an idiot cotton" cotton comes over and snuggles into my shoulder to make me feel better, I smile

17. Do they return your feelings?

(His pov)

Wait she likes me! Oh boy, she leaves before I can say anything, but why me? I know he's probably scared her, I go back to training I'm going to become better than him, surpass him I'm not like him, as I'm training I can't stop thinking what she said I like you, do I like her? She's a nice kind girl and innocent, I know he'd take advantage of that but I don't want that

I go to my room while where here he's gone to meet the queen here at least he's out all day, I hear my name I see our host lord phantomhive he says "care to play a game?" I say "sure" we go to his games room how the British live is different from what I'm used to, I sit opposite we play some random game he says "is there something on your mind?" I say "well kind of," he says "perhaps talking will help? I have noticed you are not the closest with your father"

I scoff and said "no, he's the reason I have my scar, I detest the man," he said "I see, it is not my place but, that is not what's on your mind is it?" I say "no it's to do with someone, and they have just confessed but I don't think they meant to say that to me, they just came out and said it," he says "I see, and do you return their feelings?" I sigh and say "I don't know at all" he nods and says "I see, your father is some lord in Japan isn't he?"

I nod and say "yeah," he says "is it like here? The noble marry noble and such arranged marriage" I say "kind of, my mother was arranged to him" he says "I see, and is this girl noble?" I say "I don't think she is, but I know he'll have already picked someone for me, but even if he has I won't agree, I want to find someone myself" lord phantomhive nods after our short talk I feel a bit better and go to my room and lie on my bed, do I like (name)? She's kind and so sweet, also her smile wait smile! Why did I think of that?

I feel my face heat up, oh I think I do like her! I wonder how do I tell her? She likes flowers so maybe that way, the next day I go into London and look at a flower shop the woman says "can I help you?" I look and say "um yes" she smiles and says "now how can I help you?" I say "um well" I explain she says "I see, let me see what I have for you" I nod

She soon comes back and gives me the bouquet, I don't get why these flowers I pay and go back, I leave it outside her room hopefully she gets the message

18. You have a secret admirer

You were walking around with Finny everyone was on a day out, rare but it was nice there was a festival going on where you were for the day, ciel had to investigate something but it also meant that everyone got to have fun, you looked at some stalls soon you came across one selling things like sweets you'd never seen and other things you'd never seen, finny was looking at something else

You heard "you like master's things?" you jumped and saw a little teddy you poked it, when you did it said "it tickles! Taffy ticklish" you squeaked and heard "sorry about Taffy" you looked to see a boy, you said "um how does it move? Because stuffed animals can't move or talk" he with a smile said "oh I made him!" you said "oh" he smiled and said "I'm Randy, who are you?" you said "oh I'm (name), it's nice to meet you, you're not from England are you?"

He said "nope I'm from another country" he got talking about his country, you were interested it sounded so wonderful, soon you had to go you'd become good friends with him and he seemed to like you, so while he was here in England he had managed to find where you lived and sent you little sweets and other things, you wondered why they kept sending you these

19. They tell you how they feel

(His pov)

She's so different from any girls back home, I hope she likes my gifts? I send her a note to come meet me, I'm going to tell her today how I feel, I wait for (name) to turn up she soon dose she said "huh? You're the ones sending me those gifts?" I nod and smile, she's so nice and kind she says "why are you sending me those gifts? It's not my birthday or anything like that" she's so innocent, she doesn't realise I like her

I say "I have something I want to tell you," she says "oh, what's that randy?" I say "well I like you" she says "I like you to" and smiles, I gently shake my head and say "no, I love you I like you that way, I have to tell you" I give her some sweets I made, she takes them blinking and say "you like, like me?" I nod and say "yes, I'll let you think it over and then give me your answer" I leave to let her think it over
