Takashi ran passed the meadow until he reached the tree bridge. He sat down on the bridge and look at the water. His reflection looked back at him,but it was divided in half. And he could see the scar Tanka left on his neck and the scar Anbuis left on his shoulder. He frowned. All he ever wanted was to fit in. But,nothing ever went the way he wanted. Aleu was on her way to the tree bridge as well. She was crying and it blurred her vision,so she couldn't see clearly. Her mind raced with thoughts and memories as she ran through the meadow.

She remember her first day at Omega School. Everyone stared at her and her black paw. As she walked to the front of the class, she heard the other pups whisper stuff to one another."Its a good thing I have the best hearing in the enteir clan"she had thought on that day. She heard the other pups whipsering "Look at her paw!" or "She's a mixed-breed!". And when they all saw that she limped when she walked,they whispered even more."She's crippled!"one pup had said."She's born with a lame leg!"said another. She tripped,but she got up and countiuned running.

Then,memories from a few minutes ago entered her mind. "Yeah,well you can't join us,Fur-face!"Mala had said."Faces the fact,Aleu! You're nothing but useless,crippled wolf pup that will never belong to the pack!" shouted Bira."Yeah,you may be the princess,but you're a disgrace to this clan!"shouted Zuba. Aleu kept crying as she reached the bridge. She jumped on it and kept running,but then she bumped into something. She fell on her right side and shook her head as she got up. She stared at what she bumped into and found a black wolf pup laying on his side.

Takashi shook his head and stared at Aleu. Then,he got up and crept towards Aleu as if he was stalking his prey. Takashi narrowed his eyes and Aleu backed away slowly. She had never seen a ShadowClan wolf this close."I-I'm so sorry. I-I didn't m-mean to--I-I'll just be on my way"said Aleu as she countiuned back away. Takashi kept walking toward her until she had her back against a tree. Takashi stood in front of her, their noses a few inches away. Aleu's ears flattened as Takashi sniffed her."G-Get away!!"she shouted. Then,Takashi growled. He inched a little closer and....... *Snap!*. Aleu screamed and closed her eyes shut,waiting for Takashi to bite her throat.

But when she opened one eye, she saw Takashi staring at her and was holding back a laugh. Then he bursted out laughing, making Aleu stare at him in confusion."*Laughs*You should of seen the look on your face!"he said as he sat down in front of her,smiling. She stared at him with her ears still flattened."W-What?"said Aleu. Takashi didn't answer her,he just kept staring at her. He had never seen a WindClan wolf this close before. Then,he stared at her from head to toe. He noticed her right and stared at it."She's a mixed-breed!"he thought. He sniffed her paw and Aleu flinched. He smiled slightly."Don't worry. I'm not gonna hurt you,okay?"he said. Aleu nodded. Takashi smiled and walked back to the bridge.

Aleu sat there with her back still against the tree. Takashi stared at her."Um,you can move now"he said. Aleu still didn't move,so Takashi went over and stood in front of her. He then slid behind her and pushed her with his forehead. He kept pushing her until she was on the tree bridge. Takashi sat down behind her. Aleu turned around and stared at the water. She noticed that Takashi staring at her and that their reflection were divdied in half."Strange,isn't it?"said Takashi as he stared at the water himself. Aleu stared at him, surprised. He stared back at her and noticed how faded her eyes were. And noticed how wet her cheeks were with tear stains.

"You are......blind?"asked Takashi. Aleu stared at him."Um..no?"she said."But you're eyes,they're--Yeah,I know. They're weird"said Aleu as she looked away."N-No...they're not weird. T-They're.....cool"said Takashi. Aleu looked at him."T-Thank you. Your eyes are cool,too"she said. He smiled at her. They both looked away from each other and looked up at the sun."Sooo....what's your name?" said Takashi."A-Aleu"she said. "Aleu? That's a nice name"said Takashi as he smiled sweetly. Aleu stared at him.

"Why do you keep staring at me like that?"asked Takashi."S-Sorry!"said Aleu as her ears flattened. Takashi smiled gently at her."What might be your name?"she asked."Takashi,son of Kerchek"he said. Aleu stared at him,again."Y-You're the p-prince of S-ShadowClan?!"she said. Takashi nodded."Who is your father?"he asked."I-I'm the daughter of S-Savva"she said. Takashi's eyes widen."You're the pup that was born on the same day as me!"he said."E-Excuse me?!"she said.

Then,a pile of leaves were flying in the air."Hey,look!"said Takashi. Both pups look at the sky in "aw". Then,the leaves started at circle around Aleu. Then,around Takashi. Both pups back away and they bumped into each other. They turned around and their noses touched."Sorry!" they both said. Then,they leaves started to circle around both of them. They both inched closer to one another and their chests touched. Aleu curled up her tail as her ears flattened. The two looked into the sky as the leaves flew up and swished and swayed around each other. Then,they flew off into the distanced.

They countiuned to stare at the blue sky before staring at each other. Aleu backed away from the black pup and sat down five feet away from him."Well,that should amaze you since its your first time out of your border"said Takashi. Aleu stared at him."How did you know?!"she asked."Well, its pretty obvious,really. Considering the way you acted" said Takashi. Aleu stared at the ground. Takashi walked closer to her."Why were you crying earlier?"he said as he stood in front of her."I-I wasn't crying!" shouted Aleu. Takashi gave her a look."Oh,okay. I just got bullied today,that's all. But,I should be use to it"said Aleu. Takashi stared at her."I got bullied today, too"he said as he sat down. Aleu stared at him and saw a scar on his shoulder and neck.

He motioned for her to follow him. They got off the tree bridge and walked toward the edge of the lake. There was a Lily-pad in the water and Takashi reached out for it. He tapped it gently and it glowed bright pink. Aleu's ears perked up and she smiled. She reached out for another Lily-pad and she tapped it. She giggled when it glowed. Takashi ran towards the tall grass near by and jumped into it. Aleu walked toward the grass and popped her head in."Takashi?"she said as she looked around. She heard some rustling and walked closer. "Takashi,is that you?"she said. Then.."Boo!"he shouted. Aleu fell backwards and landed on her back. Takashi started to laughed and Aleu smirked at him. She got down on her forepaws and narrowed her eyes. Takashi stopped laughing and stared at her. She inched closer and tapped him gently.

"You're it!"she said as she hopped from side to side. The shadow pup didn't move,so she tapped him again."You're it! You're it!"she repeated. But,he still didn't move. She stared at him."Uh...why aren't you chasing me?"she asked. He stared at her, confused."Why on earth would I do that?"he asked."Um...because that's how you play"Aleu said. He cocked his head."You know...I tag and you chase. Get it?"she asked. Takashi shook his head."What's the matter? Don't you know how to play Tag?"she asked. He shook his head,again."No...but,I do know how to Tackle!"said Takashi as he got into a pouncing potion.

"Tackle?! I don't--Whoa!"said Aleu,but she didn't finish because Takashi tackled her. She stared at Takashi who was on top of her with his paws on her chest."Pin yatta!"he said."Hey, that's not fair! I wasn't looking!"she shouted under him. He inched closer to her face and smirk. "*Chuckles*Well,that's how you play,princess"he said. He got off her and a sly smirk appeared on her face. She crouched down and pounced on him. She put her paws on his chest and pinned him."Pay-back!"she said as she started at laugh. Takashi stared at her before he smiled."Not bad,for a princess"he said as Aleu got off him.

She gave him a playful shove and ran away. Takashi chased after her and the two ran around. But,while they were having fun,neither of them knew that their fathers were watching. Aleu ran toward the tall grass and she disappeared. Takashi ran after her,but then lost sight of her."Aleu?!"he shouted. Aleu was right behind him and then she pounced. She pinned him down and laughed."Pay-back!" she said. He smirked and tried to push her off,but something was wrong. He stared up at her. "What's wrong?"he asked."Shh! I hear something"she said as she her ears moved around,listening for something. She look around, but she see anything or anyone. Then,she heard rustling and she squinted her eyes. She saw something black and fuzzy,but she couldn't make it out.

The thing growled and Aleu froze."Aleu?"said Takashi. She didn't move. He nudged her and she stared at him."You alright?" he asked. She nodded."Good. Now,could you get off me?"he asked. Aleu stared at him before she noticed that she was on him. She got off him and something landed in front of her and Takashi. It was another Shadow-Clan wolf,but it was an adult. He growled and an adult WindClan wolf landed behind Aleu. Takashi got up and both pups stared at the two wolves,noticing that they were their parents."D-Daddy?!"said Aleu."F-Father?!" said Takashi. Both wolves stared at their pups before staring at one another."Savva"said Kerchek as a smirk appered on his face. "Kerchek"said Savva as he bared his teeth."How nice to see you, again"said Kerchek.

Savva growled and motion Aleu to come toward him. Aleu walked toward Savva,but then tripped over her lame leg. Takashi rushed over to help her, but Savva put a paw between them and growled."*Growls* Stay away from my daughter!" Savva said. He helped Aleu up and pulled her close to him. Kerchek growled and pushed Takashi back. Kerchek then stares at Aleu and smirks."So this the future Leader of WindClan?!"said Kerchek as he laughed and bent down to Aleu's height. She started to quiver in fear and Savva snarled."She is the future deputy of WindClan! She'll be the right hand wolf of her brother;who will be the future Leader of WindClan!" shouted Savva. Kerchek smiled. "Oh,of course! That makes perfect sense. I mean....a runt could never be the Leader of a pack"Kerchek.

Savva growled and bared his teeth. He stared at Takashi."So..is this the future Leader or Deputy of your pack?"asked Savva. Kerchek stared at Takashi."Warrior"he said. Takashi stared up at his father. A warrior?! His father wanted him to fight against WindClan. Savva raised an eye-brow at Takashi before he stared at Kerchek."Take him! This is to never happen again...ever!"said Savva as he grabbed Aleu by her scruff."Don't be so sure"said Kerchek,quietly. Kerchek grabbed Takashi by his scruff and walked away. Aleu glazed back at Takashi."Bye"she whispered as she waved a paw. "Bye"said Takashi as he waved back. But this,wasn't going to be the last time Aleu and Takashi would see each other. For they were destine for great things.
