✨Strikes and Applications✨

Hello, everyone.

We hope that you all are safe and doing fine.

We just need to address a couple of things today, regarding the Book Club and the Awards.

✨Book Club✨

So we came to know about this new rule- regarding the strike system- issued by Wattpad recently through one of our friend Community.

So basically, putting up the strike list at the end of the chapter is no more allowed because it is possibly putting out a "negative exposure" to all those who get the strike.

Firstly, we apologize if any of you feels that way. We have no such intention of doing so. It was mainly just a system we and most of the other communities out there, use to keep track of the members who fail to do their assignment on time.

Secondly, we will now be sending PMs to those who fail to do their assignments instead of tagging them in the list with the time duration they have to complete their assignments.

We are going to remove the strike list from all the chapters of the Book Club. And we will soon make the changes in the rules chapter regarding this new rule too. The rest of the rules are still the same.

Also, we hope you finish the assignments before the deadline, so we do not have to PM you all. XD

✨Awards✨

Now for the Awards, we know that 25th May 2020 was the closing date of the applications. But since we have quite a few slots still empty, we will be extending the application deadline from 25th May 2020 to 15 June 2020, for now.

We may have to merge a few genres or eliminate them later if those still don't get at least five applicants each.

The number of empty slots genre-wise are mentioned below:-

🔸LGBTQ - 10 slots empty

🔸Short story/ One shots - 8 slots empty

🔸Humor - 9 slots empty
