A/N: sorry to interrupt but loOK AT THESE BUNNY TEETH! IM GONNA COMBUST
Who knew something as boring as studying could be so exciting?
Last night I spent the night at Jungkook's (nothing interesting happened, don't worry) and now we're laying in his bed, books in our hands while studying for our exams.
We've barely said a word to each other yet somehow the room still feels full. It's not an empty, awkward silence, because all we need to be comfortable is each other.
He turns the page in his textbook and I smile a little. "What?" He asks when he notices me stifling a giggle.
"Don't you have a notebook?" I glance at him.
"I don't take notes like you do," the corner of his mouth curves upward, "The only time I've taken notes was for that presentation we did with Jessie."
"Really?" I ask.
"Yeah, I just remember most of the lessons," he shrugs.
I put my notebook down and turn onto my stomach, resting my jaw in my hands while supporting myself with my elbows digging into the mattress. "Do you remember things outside of that? Or is your memory only reserved for classes?"
"I remember a lot, even useless things," he tells me, "Like the dot over 'i' and 'j' is called a tittle."
I giggle, "What about me?"
"What about you?"
"I've probably told you quite a bit about myself but do you remember much about what I've said?" During our time alone in the past, we talked for many long hours. I don't remember a whole lot specifically, but maybe he does.
"Well, for starters, I know your favorite color is cerulean blue- But not to wear because you think it clashes with your skin tone." He says.
I nod and smile, "I'm surprised you remember that."
"Oh, and your favorite flower is a Pansy," he goes on, "You really love fireflies because it reminds you of when you and your mom would go out to catch them in your back yard." My smile gets wider as he continues, "One time your highschool was closed for a few weeks because of a blizzard and you were snowed in so you watched kids cartoons to pass time... I could go on."
"You amaze me," I let my head fall to the mattress and I chuckle quietly, "I barely remember telling you that stuff."
He puts his textbook down and turns toward me on his side, "The real question is, do you remember anything about me?"
"Your favorite number is one because you're always number one," I start, "Your favorite weather is sunny with a nice breeze.." I think more and start to laugh when I remember a story he once told me.
"What?" He grins with confusion.
"You used to have bad nosebleeds when you were younger and one night you walked into your brother's room while he was sleeping and when he woke up all he saw was a bloody boy saying "help me" really close to him."
"I can still hear his screams to this day," he says and I laugh more.
We talk quietly for probably another thirty minutes about nonsense before we're both tired. I end up laying my head on his chest and he loosely wraps his arms around me before our conversation becomes too mumbled to understand and we fall asleep.
I don't know how long I stayed asleep but I wake up to the sound of the door opening. I open one of my eyes sleepily and see Namjoon, Seokjin, and Yoongi come in. They see us but don't notice I'm awake because I shut my eye again.
"Gosh, that boy is so whipped." Seokjin says and I hear the mini fridge being opened.
"I've never seen him like this. It's... Strange," Yoongi replies and I hear some things getting moved on the counter.
"I agree. Is it just me or does he seem a little secretive when it comes to talking about her? I'll ask where he was all day and he just says 'with Ellie' like it's nothing! Normally he'd elaborate on everything he did, but I guess not with her."
"Not to interrupt but do you think he hid the oreos or does he really not have them anymore?" Joon cuts in.
"I don't know, look in his bathroom." Seokjin suggests.
"Why would the oreos be in his bathroom?" Yoongi questions.
"This is Jungkook we're talking about. If he wants to hide something, he'll hide it in the place you'll look last."
I hear footsteps go- most likely- into the bathroom and Seokjin and Yoongi continue talking.
"Did you see that necklace he got? The one with the 'E' on it?"
"Yeah, Ellie has a matching one. Do you think they're together yet?"
"I'm not sure, he doesn't talk about her a lot. I don't know whether to be worried or happy about it."
"Why would you be worried?"
"He's our youngest, I guess I'm just not used to him being so independent. I don't know if he's being secretive on purpose or if I'm just looking into it."
"He's probably just going through some phase. Remember that whole Harley thing? That lasted a while."
"Yeah but it was nothing like this. I don't know how to explain it but he just looks at Ellie differently. Harley and Kook were fuck buddies, Ellie is definitely more than that to him."
I hear a wrapper and footsteps coming out of the bathroom, "I found the oreos."
"Alright, let's go so they don't wake up." Seokjin tells them.
"They won't wake up, look at them." Namjoon says, "A train could come through this room and Jungkook would still be asleep."
"Yeah but what about El? We don't know her as well as we know Kook." Yoongi points out.
"We'll find out how heavy of a sleeper she is over spring break." Jin tells them and they leave, closing the door behind them.

The next several weeks are spent either studying or screwing around in Jungkook's dorm. Many days were interrupted by the guys trying to steal his food and at one point Jungkook just locked the door and we ignored them. Though, we haven't had sex since the first time over winter break because of all the interruptions added onto busy schedules and not being able to see each other most of the time.
But anyway, I wasn't stressed at all about the exams until I actually had them in front of me. I think I did well on them for the most part, but it's not like I can go back and change my answers so why worry about it now?
Jessie says she's sure she aced at least her history exam and Oliver thinks he did well on most of his exams, too. Jungkook and the guys are also pretty positive about their grades and that makes me happy because this also means none of us will be worrying about grades over spring break.
Which by the way, is right around the corner now. Tomorrow is the weekend and then spring break starts Monday, following through until next Monday.
Oliver is spending spring break with his boyfriend so it works out well that Jessie and I are going with the guys.
And since it's warmer out now, Jessie and I have been hanging out with the guys more. Like right now, we're sitting on some wooden park bleachers while watching the seven dorks play basketball.
Yoongi is the one getting most of the baskets but Jungkook is right there with him. The others are prancing around like baby deer, bumping into each other and blindly following the ball across the cement court.
"He's so hot, holy fuck." Jessie's voice pulls me out of my head real quick.
"Which one?" I ask in response to her sudden statement.
"Hoseok." She rests her jaw in her palm, "I didn't think someone could look so good even while failing miserably at basketball. I mean I could probably beat him in this game, but on second thought, maybe I'd get too distracted."
"Honey, you're crazy for him." I laugh and pat her back.
"Says the girl who has matching necklaces with her crush." She sips her drink through a straw.
"Shut up," I giggle and hold the 'J' out to look at it, "He's not just my crush anymore, anyway."
"Right, I keep forgetting you're actually a thing." She says, "You're good at hiding it. Has Kook told his friends about you two yet?"
"Nope. You're the only other person who knows. Well, knows for a fact. I'm sure the guys have their suspicions." I explain but suddenly her jaw drops and her eyes aren't on me anymore.
I follow her gaze to see Hoseok drinking from a bottle of water. The sweat on his face and neck glistens against the sunlight and I chuckle before looking to find Jungkook.
I shouldn't have laughed at her for being so head over heels for him because now my jaw is on my floor at the sight of Jungkook drinking water.
Who knew someone drinking water could be so sexy?
Not only is his shirt clinging to his chest, it also has short sleeves which I appreciate because I can clearly see his arms and the sexiness that comes with them.
I watch him walk over to me with a charming smile but I don't really realize it until he's right in front of me. "You'll catch flies like that," he smirks and lifts my chin to close my mouth.
I feel the blush creep up to my cheeks and he only smiles wider at how flustered I get.
"Hey princess,"Jimin comes over and ruffles my hair, "You ready to go out for ice cream?" He asks to both Jessie and I.
"Yes!" Jessie exclaims excitedly and bounces to her feet.
Although, she must've bounced too enthusiastically because her foot gets caught on the bleacher bench below the row we're on and she falls forward. I see her life flash before her eyes but just before her trip turns into a full on fall, Hoseok is there to catch her.
I giggle at the movie-like moment and she pulls back to look at him just as I start to walk away. They'll turn out nicely..
I lead the way but Jungkook quickly catches up to me, wrapping his arms around my waist to pick me up off my feet.
"Jungkook!" I yell with a grin as he spins me around.
"Kook, swing her this way again," Taehyung says with a smirk.
I roll my eyes and smile at him when Jungkook sets me down. "Poor boy, don't you have enough ass on the weekends from all the other girls you get?" I pout my lip.
"What can I say? I'm an ass guy," he shrugs shamelessly, "I can never get enough."
The group laughs and I look over to Hobi and Jess who are walking pretty close to each other. Jessie and I make eye contact and I give her a knowing look, making her smile a little in response.
I look at Hoseok and he sends me a questioning expression before I smirk and turn around again, pulling the sleeves of my flannel tighter around my hips
"You still look great from the back, princess!" Jimin tells me and I give him the middle finger, making him laugh.
"Will your friends ever grow up?" I look up at Jungkook
"Probably not," he smirks, "But I won't either, so you'll always have to deal with us."
I smile and reach for his hand but stop myself right away. I can't keep almost revealing our relationship.
I know what you're thinking; 'didn't Jungkook just pick you up and spin you around?' And to that I respond; yes, but the other guys do the same thing. I mean one of the first times we met, they kidnapped me and Taehyung threw me over his shoulder.
We're all physically close with each other regardless of how emotionally close we are in the friendship.
Our group walks along the sidewalk, only getting distracted a few times- one of which could've ended with Taehyung getting hit by a car but that's beside the point. It's noisy ruckus all the way to the ice cream parlor and once we get up to the window to order, the boys are messing around behind Jessie and I at the outdoor tables while we wait.
The old man smiles and gives us our icecream cones after we pay. "Boys," I get their attention and they stop slap-fighting to look at us.
They get out of their seats and thank the parlor man for the icecream before taking their cones from us. "They're so chaotic." I say to Jessie and lick my chocolate icecream.
"They're not that bad." She replies and on cue, Jimin giggles so hard he falls out of his chair, luckily saving his ice cream. Seokjin starts laughing like a windshield wiper, and Namjoon accidentally cracks his cone with his thumb.
"...okay, I get your point." She licks her strawberry icecream.

What's your favorite season?
I personally like somewhere between summer and fall. September is the superior month :)
