Who He Is
Jimmy's Perspective-
"I- Eliot?!"
The guy blinked before smiling.
"Hey babe! How've you been?" Eliot reached up to hold Scott's cheek, but Scott slapped his hand away.
"I'm not your babe. We broke up." Scott said, death staring Eliot and holding Jimmy's hand.
"Ooh, I see." Eliot said, looking at the interlocked hands, "You replaced me."
Scott scoffed, "Replaced? We- broke- up. Done. And Jimmy's better than you."
Scott then turned on his heel and started walking away, Jimmy following.
"Jimmy's better?" Eliot asked, following, "Bet."
Scott stopped and turned to Eliot, absolutely fuming.
"You asked where the café was, we told you. Now leave us alone, I'm sick and tired of you."
And Scott pulled Jimmy away.
-
"Hey Scott! Hey Jimmy! How was your day?" Scott's mother asked as Jimmy and Scott entered the Major's home.
Scott, still fuming, buried his face in Jimmy's chest and asked him to explain what happened.
Jimmy nodded, hugging back before looking at Scott's mother.
"I- me and Scott ran into Eliot when we were out in the town."
Scott's mother's eyes widened.
"Scott, dear, is this true?" She asked softly and Scott nodded.
He turned to look at his mother and his eyes were red with tears.
"He's still the same fucking bitch he used to be." Scott spat, his voice shaky.
"Language, sweetie." His mother said sternly.
"I don't care! If you saw the way he acted around me, you would call him the same thing! He acted as if nothing happened and as if I was still his- still his baby!" Scott shouted, his voice breaking.
Scott's mother brought him into a tight hug and Scott started crying.
"He's just l-like he was all those y-years ago. He's still the selfish b-bitch that he used to b-be and I h-hate him."
Scott then sniffed and wiped his eyes.
"Seriously though, w-why is he acting l-like nothing h-happened?!"
"Probably because he sees you as the beautiful man that you are." Scott's mother said softly, tucking some of his cyan hair behind his ear.
Scott scoffed, "Yeah? Well I don't want anything to do with him. Jimmy's better. I just want Eliot to leave me the fuck alone!"
"Language, Scott Major! I will have to punish you if you say things like that again."
Scott huffed and stormed off to his room, slamming the door behind him.
Jimmy and Scott's mother both flinched at the sound before sighing.
"I'm going to go check up on him." Jimmy said and Scott's mother nodded.
"Scott?" Jimmy asked, softly knocking on his boyfriend's door.
"Go away." Scott muttered.
"I'm sorry, but as your boyfriend, I'm supposed to check up on you and care for you when you're upset."
Jimmy heard Scott giggle, making him blush and Scott opened the door.
"Sorry about that, Sunflower." Scott said, softly kissing Jimmy's lips.
"I'm just really upset about Eliot. He's...you don't really get what he's like."
"Well then, try and explain to how he treated you."
Scott looked down at his feet and then took a deep breath.
"I- well it all started back in 8th grade."
-
"Did you see him?"
"Isn't he cute?!"
"Do you think he'd wanna go out with me?"
Eliot was one of the popular guys.
He was on the school's cheerleading team and had blonde hair.
He wasn't too popular with the guys, but almost every girl loved him.
He was everything they wanted.
Cute, smart, cheery, and of course, popular.
I was already out to my parents and most of the school knew I was gay, so I didn't have too many friends.
I was friends with two people. A girl named Pearl, and a guy named Anthony.
They were friends of mine since grade school and always helped me out.
They were kind of snappy towards each other, but that was because they were each other's rivals.
They were always competing, even about the stupidest things, but they were also always there for each other when they needed it.
I love them both (platonically) and I don't know what I would do without them.
One day, I got called up to the front office.
They told me that I wasn't doing any outside physical activity, meaning that I would have to P.E if I didn't sign up for something.
I ended up complaining to my friends about it and they both recommending me trying out for something the school offered.
"There's basketball." Anthony said, "And football. Why not try out for those?"
"Mmm, no thanks." I said.
"What about the schools swim team?"
"I don't know how to swim." I said.
Pearl looked shocked, "You don't know how to swim?!"
I shook my head, "I never got lessons."
Pearl hummed.
"Well, what about the cheer team?" She then suggested.
I thought for a second before shrugging.
"Yeah, okay."
