What Really Happened
Please listen to Flower Petals by Luxid. (kinda funny title, isn't it? >:)
Scott's Perspective-
"JMMY!" I shouted after Jimmy, but he just shook his head and ran faster.
"Jimmy...no..." I started to sob, and Eliot hugged me.
"Shh, it's okay."
I pushed away from him.
"Fuck off." I said, "This is all your fault."
"My fault? What did I do wrong?" He asked, smiling sickly as he held my chin to make me look up at him, "What'd I ever do wrong, sexy?"
I turned away and shot him a glare.
"You wanna know what you did wrong? You cheated on me, you played me, you made it so I only listened to you, you made it so I was out of control, and now you've made me lose Jimmy."
"I. Hate. You." I spat.
Eliot looked at me up and down before leaning in and kissing me.
"Stop!" I shouted, trying to push him away but doing nothing.
He bit my neck and I stomped on his foot.
He backed away in pain and I smacked his face.
"You are ruining my life. Why can't you just do one thing right and fuck off?!" I shouted before dashing out.
I ran to my car and drove off.
-
"Please don't be Lizzie, please don't be Lizzie." I muttered under my breath as I waited for someone to answer the door.
I was waiting outside of Jimmy's house, begging that Jimmy would answer and that we could make up.
Just then, the door opened, and Lizzie stepped out.
I cursed under my breath and Lizzie raised an eyebrow.
"What do you want?" She asked.
I smiled nervously, "I was wondering if I could speak with Jimmy."
She scoffed, "Fuck no. Why would I let you do that?"
"Because I need to make up to him."
She narrowed her eyes and folded her arms.
"Let me get this straight. You, the guy who kissed your ex-boyfriend who abused you, want to now make up with Jimmy?"
I nodded, though it sounded a lot worse when she explained it.
"Yeah, not gonna happen."
"Please." I begged, sounding desperate, "I need to make up with him."
"No. You broke his heart. I thought you were a good guy Scott, but I was wrong. Dead wrong. He came home in tears and apparently, he ran towards Grian's house and showed up at his doorstep soaking wet and sobbing. You did that. You broke his heart."
"You don't understand! I didn't mean to kiss Eliot! Please!"
Lizzie sighed.
"Scott, I don't wanna believe that you meant to hurt Jimmy, but here we are. If I had to choose between his word and the word of the guy who broke his heart, who do you think I'm gonna chose?"
I sighed and looked down.
"Goodbye Scott." She said, slamming the door.
I bit my lip, trying my hardest not to start crying, but it was too late.
I ran back to my car and started to cry.
I took a couple of deep breaths and wiped my eyes before starting my drive home.
-
I laid down in my bed after ignoring my parents and taking a warm shower and sighed.
I wasn't feeling any better and I just wished that this was all a dream even though I knew it wasn't.
I turned over in my bed and stared out the window, watching as some of the raindrops caught onto the window and slid down.
Slid down just like my tears did.
Just then, my phone started ringing and I saw that it was Tom.
I sighed as I picked up.
"Who told." I asked.
"What do you mean?" Tom asked and it was obvious he was lying.
"Tom, be honest with me. I can't take any more lying today."
"Sorry, Scott. I just- "
"You never call me randomly like this, so it was kind of obvious."
Tom hummed and I repeated my question.
"Who told you what happened."
"Joel."
I blinked, "Joel?"
That was not the answer I was expecting.
"Yep. He texted me asking about your side of the story. I was confused, so I sent a question mark, and he told me what happened. At least what happened with Jimmy. But what happened?"
I sighed, "Too much."
Tom chuckled, "Come on."
"Well, what do you know?"
"All I know is that you kissed Eliot and cheated on Jimmy."
"Well that's not true."
"Which part?"
"The part about me cheating on Jimmy."
"Scott, kissing another guy while dating someone is considered cheating."
I sighed, "Look, I didn't mean to. Eliot just leaned in and kissed me and...yeah."
Tom hummed.
"I can't believe I did that, I'm such an idiot. Eliot's a bitch."
"You just made a mistake."
"A terrible, unforgiving mistake that will haunt me for the rest of my life. I hate myself." I muttered.
Despite me not being able to see Tom, I knew he nodded with a concerned look on his face.
Sadly, there was no real way for him to help me.
I was broken.
Broken beyond repair.
