Jimmy's Perspective-

Wonder why Tom wanted to meet at The Jazz Café all of a sudden. I hope nothing's wrong. Jimmy thought, opening the café door and walking in, listening to the familiar music and chime of a bell above him.

Jimmy looked around and saw Tom wave him over.

"Hey Tom, why'd you wanna meet here?" Jimmy asked.

"Well..." Tom trailed off, biting his lip as he stepped to the side and revealed Scott.

Jimmy's eyes widened.

"What are you doing here?" Jimmy asked rudely, earning him a kick from Tom.

"Ow! What the heck?"

Tom rolled his eyes, "You two need to get this whole ordeal behind you."

"Not gonna happen. I don't wanna make up with the bitch who cheated on me with his abusive ex." Jimmy said, turning around and folding his arms.

"Jimmy, please." Scott pleaded, looking scared, "Let me explain."

Jimmy turned around and saw tears lightly dusted onto Scott's eyelashes.

"Sorry, Tom, but I can't do this." Jimmy said, walking away.

"Too bad!" Tom said, tugging on his friend's arm and pulling him down into the chair next to Scott.

"I don't care how long it takes you to make up, but you will be here until you do, got it?"

Scott and Jimmy nodded, and Tom smiled.

"Cool! I'll be in the store next door, have fun." Tom said, waving goodbye as he left.

Scott and Jimmy looked up at each other before immediately looking down, breaking the eye contact they had made.

"So..." Jimmy said, looking up at Scott who was staring determinedly at the ground, "You wanna explain what happened with Eliot?"

"You already know that story."

"Yeah...but I don't know it from you."

Scott nodded and they fell into silence.

Jimmy shifted in his seat, waiting for Scott to begin.

"Scott, are you- "

"I hate that night. I don't think I've ever shouted so loud in my entire life other than then." Scott took a deep breath and continued to explain.

"I had seen Eliot cheating with a girl on our cheer team and had finally gotten the confidence to confront him.

So that night, I walked to his house and knocked on the door.

He answered it all cheerfully and I told him that I needed to talk with him.

He asked about what and made me look at him.

I was so mad about all of the things he had done for me; my nervousness had dissolved as I told him that he was cheating on me.

He, of course, acted dumb.

I told him that I saw him and demanded him to tell me the truth. After all the lies, after all the abusiveness and tricks, after everything...

I just wanted the truth. Just one simple thing.

Well, Eliot couldn't let me go so easily and shouted at me that I was confused, that he would never do that, that he loved me.

I had heard enough and snapped, shouting at him, shouting than I ever have, for him to tell me the truth.

And he did.

He told me that I was a bitch who was confused and was breaking up with him for no reason.

I scoffed at the lies and told him that we were over before storming off.

Eliot pushed me to the ground, and I called him a bitch before kicking him and running off."

Scott paused and continued to take deep breaths.

Jimmy just sat there, looking at how close their hands were to each other and thinking about everything.

They then felt a hand grab each other's shoulders and Scott and Jimmy both jumped.

They turned around and saw Eliot, looking furious.

"So, babe," Eliot said, leaning in close to Scott, "Decided to start giving away all your secrets?"

For those of you who are wondering why Eliot is there, he just walked in for work ;)
