Is this EQUALITY?
Raj was a lower middle class guy. He worked as a servant and get money just for survival. His whole family was dependent on him, his wife and two children. He was hardly paying his children's school fee. Because of late fee, many times school sent notice, the children will be removed from office.
Like a normal day, he got ready early in the morning and left for work. He was an extremely honest person. No matter how much poor he was, he never thought of getting money by wrong means. His mistress asked him to bring groceries. She gave him the list and money. He went to the market and brought everything.
While he was coming back, he didn't notice there was a big stone. His foot tripped and by mistake he hit a girl in early 20's.
Raj: Maaf krna behn. Galti se ho gia
He started collecting his things. Girl got furious and held him by collar. She slapped him tightly.
Girl: Saala tum saare ldke ek jaise hote ho. Bass ldki ko haath lgane ka mauka chahie
She again slapped him.
Girl: Sharam nhi aati kya bosdike. Ghar mein ma behn nhi hai kya, hnn?
She slapped him again and again.
Girl: Ldke itne besharam hote hai na ki paida hote hi maar dena chahie. Par nhi maara to ldkio ko jata hai
She stamped her heels on his foot. She slapped him multiple times and no one came in front. All were watching show. She kept abusing him physically as well as with words. He was in pain. He was embarrassed. He was just looking down. He was punished but what was his fault.
Girl: Rukk tujhe teri asli aukaat to dikha kar rhoongi
She took out her phone and clicked his pictures. He tried hiding his face. He begged her to not do anything but she didn't give a fuck. She uploaded his pics on every social media platform with the caption,
"Another cheap guy. He tried to molest me in public. He harassed me publicly. He made me uncomfortable. Why you bloody bastards can't learn to respect us girls? Why can't you guys let us live? Why can't you cheap boys let us roam freely in public? Why can't you boys let us live without fear? What is our mistake? That we are girls. Kya ldki hona itna bada paap hai ki hum apni zindagi izzat se bina kisi dar ke jee hi nhi skte. Kyu? Is our law so weak that can't even make these boys learn their place? I want justice. I want justice for me. For every single girl. For every single daughter of this country. Please help us. Please make us free from these monsters. Please understand our feelings boys. We are humans too. And don't forget we girls only gave you birth. We bleed 7 days. We are much more powerful than you cheap bloody boys. If we can give you birth, we can even show you your place."
His post was shared by number of people within minutes. Her post got viral on whole internet. People were asking for her justice. Raj's mister and mistress also came to know about it. As soon as he reached home they asked him to leave. He cried. He begged. But who cared? No one. His master warned him to leave if he didn't wanna get beaten up.
Raj: Maine kasam se uss ldki ke saath kuch nhi kia sahab
Miss: Koi ldki kbhi jhooth nhi bolegi. Aur aese maamle mein to kbhi bhi nhi
He cried for mercy. But finally accepted the defeat and came home. Seeing him home early, his wife got tensed. She asked him. He wasin conflict should he tell her or not. Will she trust him or not. But he had no other option, he spoke up. He told her everything. She was broken but she trusted her husband.
In evening
Police came to his house.
Ins: Raj?
Raj: Jii sahab?
Ins: Arrest kro isse
Off arrested him.
Raj's wife: Inko kyu pakad rhe ho aap?
She said crying.
Ins: Ldki se batmeezi ki hai
Raj: Sahab maine kuch nhi kia hai
Ins: Uthake gaadi mein daalo isse
Raj's wife felt on ins's feet. She was crying violently. Whole neighborhood was looking at them.
Raj's wife: Mere pari ne kuch nhi kia. Chhod dijie unhe. Wo ldkio ki bohot izzat krte hai
Police ignored her and left. She kept screaming. She ran after car but tripped in her sari and felt down. Her children cameto support her. All three hugged each other and cried.
In Police Station
Raj: Sahab maine kasam se kuch nhi kia hai. Aap baat to sunie
Ins ignored him.
Ins: Chaar dande maaro. Apne aap sab btayega
Off took him in jail and beat him badly. He had wounds all over his body. They used to beat him everyday. Food was like not even animals can eat. He was taken to court. His case carried own. Government supported the girl. She got money as compensation. She left country.
Case kept going for years. Raj's family was badly humiliated everywhere. His wife tried to get a maid's job but no one allowed her. His children were thrown out of school. They started their own small tea stall to earn a little money. Rarely they used to go and meet Raj. He was in depression.
Finally after 5 years, the judgement came. Girl couldn't give proof. Raj was freed from jail. But no punishment was given to the girl. On the other hand, an innocents whole life was spoiled.
THE END
Inspired from two original cases.
Is this EQUALITY?
I am not a supporter of rape, molestation but is this justified?
Abuse is abuse. Whether it's against a boy or a girl. But instead of punishing her, standing up for boy, people supported her.
Guys a small request, don't share every news you get on social media. At least not a one sided story. At least listen the person once. You don't what is the whole story, then how can you give judgement. How can you declare one person guilty, just by hearing one sided story.
Now all those who say burn the rapist, kill them in encounter. Kindly let the law decide. At least give them a fair chance to speak, to put their point. But yes definitely I will say our system is too slow. It take years to give judgement.
