Apollo was currently sat in the Hogwarts library with Daphne and Cassius (whom Apollo had grumbled to him as close to an apology as he could get) and the three were now talking about their winter breaks.

“Mine was boring as usual - although it's much better than having to return home so I'll take Hogwarts over all those horrendous parties any day.” Commented Daphne, moving her hands about slightly as she spoke. Cassius didn't pay much attention to the girl as he had his nose in a new book that he had received for Christmas, while Apollo regarded her in disinterest. “How was yours, Apollo?” Daphne asked the boy who seemed to be lost in space. The said boy flinched slightly at the use of his name and cursed Cassius for bringing up the fact that he had known Apollo's true identity all along, now he knew the two - along with Blaise Zabini - would never cease in their usage of the name.

“It was horrible, of course. However, I didn't expect anything else from The Petrous.” He replied, scrunching up his face as he said his family name mockingly. They were such a joke to him and he was ashamed to be apart of the clan. He sometimes wondered if being a half-blood or muggle-born would be better than being apart of foolish purebloods - but then again, he couldn't name a pureblood that wasn't foolish, so he supposed he would have to live with what he had.

“I see you're just as overdramatic as before,” Daphne teased, blue eyes crinkling as she giggled at the annoyed glare Apollo gave her. She never was frightened of the boy as while he did get into many fights, he had never harmed her and she knew he never would. She had their odd friendship of sorts to thank for that.

“I am not overdramatic,” Apollo corrected, scowling at that notion. Greek gods and goddess and myths and his grandparents were overdramatic, he, however, was not and grew deeply offended at simply the notion that he may be.

Cassius snorted, breaking his silence that he had carried ever since they had arrived at the library. He didn't even bother to look up from his book as he put in his thoughts, “Yeah, sure, The Great Apollo Petrou is not overdramatic. I'll believe that when Peeves stops terrorizing students.”

Cassius and Daphne laughed while Apollo fixed the two a heated glare, crossing his arms in anger as he slouched down in his seat. “Why do I even hang out with you two?” He grumbled rhetorically.

“Because you love us,” Daphne responded smoothly, grinning cheekily at the boy who simply rolled his eyes at the notion.

“Perhaps in your dreams, Greengrass,” he retorted, not at all impressed at the idea of having love for his friends - or acquaintances more like as he wouldn't even call them friends.

Oh right,” Daphne continued sarcastically, “I forgot that the great, Apollo Petrou doesn't have feelings.”

Cassius snorted while Apollo simple shrugged in disinterest. “Feelings cause more harm than good. Better to have no attachments than to get your hopes up only to be disappointed.”

Daphne sighed while shaking her head softly. “That's so sad, Apollo. Having feelings is a great thing and love is the most amazing feeling one could possess. Just wait until the day you experience it, then you'll understand.”

Apollo rolled his eyes once more, not at all believing the words that were spewing out of the blonde girl's mouth. He didn't believe that he would ever feel trivial things such as love. However, he decided to humor the girl and simply ignored her rather than argue with her. The three students were silent for the next few moments - Apollo deep in thought, Daphne attempting to do her Transfiguration work, while Cassius continued to read his book - before Cedric Diggory was bursting into the library, startling the few students that were residing in there.

“We all need to report to the Great Hall, Hogwarts may have been breached.” He panted, out of breath from having run all over Hogwarts. Everyone in the library, excluding Apollo, looked at the prefect in alarm before quickly rushing out towards the Great Hall.

“What?” Cassius asked in alarm as he looked over at Cedric, said boy on his way to their table as they were the only ones who hadn't left yet.

Cedric sighed, knowing it wasn't exactly his place to tell the students what was happening, but he knew they deserved to know. “There may have been a sighting of Sirius Black on school grounds and just as a precaution, Dumbledore would like everyone to stay in the Great Hall once more this evening.”

Daphne bit her lip anxiously while Apollo barely looked up from his lap, giving off an air of disinterest, although his heart began pounding faster in his chest.

“Come on,” Cedric sighed as he ushered the three younger students out into the hallway. “I'll meet you down there, I've still got to see if there's anyone else in the castle. Wait, Nathaniel,” Cedric called to Apollo as the trio began parting down to the Great Hall, reaching out to grab on to the boy's hand.

Apollo wanted to roll his eyes yet he remembered that he had a certain persona he must keep up around the fellow Hufflepuff. “Yes, Cedric?” He asked the taller boy softly, attempting to make himself appear kinder and more innocent.

Cedric smiled at the beautiful boy stood in front of him, squeezing the hand he still held in his own. “I just want to remind you to be careful. I don't want to see anything bad happen to you.”

Apollo's brows furrowed slightly in confusion, he couldn't comprehend why Cedric actually cared for his safety. Perhaps it didn't make sense to him as the boy would never worry over someone else, he didn't see the point.

Apollo put on a fake smile for the older boy, nodding his head in confirmation. Cedric breathed a sigh of relief and nodded his head as well, leaning forward to give Apollo a quick hug before quickly rushing away, a pink hue to his cheeks. Apollo remained stood on the spot, watching Cedric walk away, still confused on the situation that had just occurred, before Daphne was calling to him and he quickly hurried to meet up with his friends.

What Cedric had told the trio was true, and the Hogwarts students were required to stay the night in the Great Hall. They were organized by house with Hufflepuff and Slytherin next to each other on one side, while Ravenclaw and Gryffindor were together across from them. Apollo went over to where he was due to sleep for the night and swore silently when he noticed Blaise Zabini was in a sleeping bag near him. The Hufflepuff approached quietly, hoping that Blaise wouldn't notice him and he would quietly move farther away from the blasted boy. Yet with Apollo's luck, Blaise noticed him and gave the tall boy a grin.

“A little sleepover, aye Apollo?” He teased, tossing a cheeky wink towards the Hufflepuff whom pointedly ignored the other boy and began getting settled in for bed, although his eyes did flash angrily at the comment.

Blaise huffed at being ignored and got up, kicking some Slytherin and Hufflepuff students out of his way, before plopping his sleeping bag down next to Apollos. “Play us a lullaby Hypnos, some first years are crying.” The Slytherin said wryly as he sat down on his sleeping bag, eyes glancing quickly towards some first year Hufflepuffs  who were crying in fear at the thought that perhaps Sirius Black had infiltrated Hogwarts once more.

Apollo grit his teeth in anger before giving the Slytherin an innocent look. “Perhaps my fist could knock you out as an example of one way to fall asleep.”

Blaise laughed softly, making Apollo glare as that wasn't the reaction he had been expecting. “Why don't you knock out Sirius Black, Hercules.”

Apollo rolled his eyes in annoyance, wishing that talk about Sirius Black would stop following him everywhere. Luckily for him, however, at that moment Professor Mcgonagall yelled out that it was time for everyone to go to sleep. The Hufflepuff looked pointedly at the darker skinned male once that was said, raising a brow as the boy still hadn't moved. “Well, leave.”

Blaise grinned and shook his head as he scooted his sleeping bag closer towards Apollo. “Nope, you're stuck with me.”

Apollo huffed in annoyance as he began gathering up his stuff, fully planning on moving somewhere else. However, as he looked around he realized that there was no more space while Cassius was sharply whispering at him, “Lay down or Snape will have your arse.”

Apollo glare at Cassius before lying down, then switching his glare on to Blaise whom was regarding the boy smugly. He groaned in annoyance. This was going to be a long night. “One peep and you'll find yourself in a coma, Zabini.” He whispered harshly over the noise of shuffling from people adjusting in their sleeping bags.

Blaise grinned and closed his eyes before whispering softly, “Goodnight Apollo, darling.” This resulted in a sharp kick to the shin from Apollo, Blaise cackling although he did hiss from the impact.

That night was a restless one for Apollo, worrying thoughts occupying his brain, resulting in him tossing and turning all night. Unknown to him, Blaise had woken up due to the shifting noise and had noticed the troubled look on the Hufflepuff's face and how he mumbled the same few words under his breath - although Blaise hadn't been able to make out what they were.

Due to not having a good night's sleep, Apollo awoke earlier than most of the other students in the Hall. He glanced over to his left and took notice that Blaise was still asleep next to him. The Petrou boy pointedly ignored how handsome Blaise actually looked, as he was usually much too angry at the boy when he was awake to take notice of his looks. Instead, he occupied his thoughts with the need to punch his sleeping face, a grin slipping onto his face at the thought.

“Come on,” Cassius said, grabbing Apollo's arm and startling him slightly as he had assumed the other Hufflepuff to still be sleeping. “Dumbledore gave us the all clear to go back to our common rooms.”

Apollo nodded his head at his friend, then beginning to gather up his sleeping bag before standing up and looking Blaise with a grin. Without a second thought, he dropped his pillow on the Slytherin's sleeping face. Said boy spluttered awake as he quickly sat up, startled at the way he had been woken up. Blaise blinked up at Apollo in confusion, while the Hufflepuff gave the darker male an innocent look. “Whoops, sorry mate, didn't see you there.” He said sarcastically before leaning down and snatching it out of Blaise's lap. Apollo then walked off with his head held high, Cassius rolling his eyes as he followed his fellow dorm mate. They made their way to the Hufflepuff common room, depositing their sleeping gear outside where someone would later collect the ever growing pile.

“What's the password again?” Apollo asked Cassius, as although he was quite musically inclined, he could never remember the stupid song. There was no point to him as why would anyone need to remember a song played on wooden barrels. Even the harp - which was Apollo's least favourite instrument - was preferred over barrels.

Cassius rolled his eyes, finding it ridiculous how the boy could play about ten different instruments yet couldn't remember a simple song. The Welsh boy quickly played out the tune correctly, the boys then rushing into the familiar round space which was the Hufflepuff common room.

Apollo sighed as he ran a hand through his hair, stressed from the events that had taken place over the past few months. If only he had known that things would only get worse from there on.

A bit later than my usual weekly uploads however I have nothing else planned after this and wanted to take the time to think of things - although that didnt happen so I thought I might as well post it haha. If any of you have any suggestions on what could happen next, please comment or pm me as it would be greatly appreciated!

Anyway, what did you guys think of this chapter? I am well aware that this never happened in the book, however, I had to had it in for some more scenes with blaise and apollo. So dont get mad at me about the fact that they never had to sleep in the great hall more than once! What do you think of Apollo and Blaise's banter? How long do you think it will take for them to develop feelings for one another? What do you think about Cedric and his relationship with Apollo? Let me know all your guys' thoughts!
