Shout Out To My Ex - Percico

Here is the second part of Fuck You that some of you wanted! Let me know after if you would like a third part too because things end a little... steamy.
The song is Little Mix's new one Shout Out To My Ex (which has become my new anthem since I was dumped a week ago)
And also by the way, I couldn't find a lyrics video but there is a part at 0:45 where they start the car and it made me jump  a little so I thought I would forward you.

Percy and Nico walked into the room, there were people everywhere. Nico couldn't breathe for some reason; sure, he was a little antisocial which was the whole reason for why he worked at the flower shop, but that was at most five people in the store at the same time, excluding his family members. But this place? This place was crowded; Nico didn't know what was going on except that Percy basically asked him out on a date in a way to say fuck you to his stepfather.

Earlier that day when Percy had stormed in to order a bouquet that passive-aggressively said fuck you he had said that his stepfather was going to have a party. Was this like a party in the Swan Princess? To marry of Percy to the girls that could be seen everywhere. Literally everywhere, Nico couldn't even see the stage, let alone a snack bar.

Percy held his hand very hard, even though Nico didn't really know him he bet Percy was nervous.

"Perce you okay?" he asked, the nickname felt pleasant in his mouth.

"Uhm... yeah." Percy smiled at him, "just much more people than I expected, you could think I'm Prince Derek and my stepfather has gathered princesses from all over the world, just so that I could find a fiance."

"I thought of that movie too!" Nico exclaimed a little too happy, this resulted in a bright blush on his cheeks and he turned his head away.

"It's okay I won't tell anyone that you like kids' movies too." Percy said sweetly, he tugged at Nico's hand. "Come on I better give these to my stepfather so that he can enjoy the poison ivy."

They made their way into the crowd and Percy didn't even complain when Nico was pressed up against him or almost made him stumble. Once they reached the stage where Percy's stepfather where they were both a little out of breath.

"You couldn't find any more girls Gabe?" Percy said with venom in his voice and in his hands.

"Oh now, this isn't even that many girls. Your mother would be glad to see the party I have made in your honor. Find a beautiful girl, get married, then get lost." Gabe, the stepfather, smiled a disgusting smile before taking the flowers. "You know I hate flowers."

"You know I hate you." Percy smiled a little sarcastically, "by the way this is my boyfriend, Nico."

Gabe looked over at Nico. Now Gabe wasn't that tall, but he was ugly and stinking. He had a big belly from all the drinking, he had stubble from yesterday, and when he smiled he showed off his yellow teeth. Yet Gabe looked at him as if it was Nico who was the strange one. Nico had at least put on a clean pair of jeans and had taken a quick shower before Percy arrived.

"Ah a new little friend, why you holding hands?" Gabe barked out.

"He. Is. My. Boyfriend." Percy said through gritted teeth.

"Yes, yes, I heard you the first time, a new friend who is a boy. That doesn't mean that you have to hold hands."

Nico who have grown uncomfortable from being so close to this stinking man tugged at Percy's hand and nodded to the crowd. He rather wanted to be stuck in a crowd of girls than stuck with Gabe.

Percy smiled at him, "so where is the dam snack bar?"

"Over there," Gabe answered and waved his hand in the general direction of the bar.

Nico wasn't interested in food but Percy handed him a cup filled up with blue candy. He realized soon enough that he was simply holding it for Percy since he would get a harsh comment as soon as he went to take a piece of candy. But maybe it was because Percy didn't like the idea of them to stop holding hands. After all many of the girls had scrounged their noses and went on to a dance floor, and some had even gone home.

Nico and Percy stood by the wall, the room was kind of simple for a party. White walls with some lovely paintings that Nico was sure Gabe hadn't put up. The ceiling was high which allowed the crystal chandelier to hang on a safe distance from everyone's' heads.

"So which one is your ex?" Nico asked after a while, the music was playing softly so far, the girls who danced had invited each other to slow dance.

"Haven't seen her yet" Percy took some candy from the cup.

"How long did you date?" Nico asked curiously.

"Haven't you heard that it's a curse to talk about exes on a first date?" Percy grinned.

"Well I thought I was a fake boyfriend," Nico shrugged.

"Still our first date." Percy shrugged back with a small smile, which meant that it was intended of him to copy Nico's shrug.

"So school?" Nico asked.

"Underwood high, you?"

"Same, I mostly work from home though, got a leave when my... well anyhow, I haven't gone back yet, probably soon though." Nico said ignoring the sob story that would begin if he told Percy the true reason why he was away from school.

"So you work at a flower shop and study from home. Kind of cool." Percy said taking another candy, the cup was half full now. "I work at Starbucks, evening shifts and weekends. I make a mean cup of dark chocolate with those tiny marshmallows and the whip cream."

"You sure know how to make a guy's heart melt." Nico said teasingly, it was so easy to talk to Percy, sure it had been awkward as hell to ride on Percy's motorcycle.

Not that Percy was a bad driver, he really wasn't. It was just the fact that Nico had to get so close to him, he could smell Percy's aftershave, he could smell the smoke from a cigarette that Percy had probably smoked before coming to pick him up. Nico had wondered if Percy could feel his humming bird heart through his sexy leather jacket.

"You live on top of the shop right?" Percy asked out of the blue.

"yeah why? You want to climb up the fire escape and tap on my window like in one of those romantic comedies?"

"I have never done that," Percy pondered on that thought for a moment, "could be fun! But no, I just wondered since you know the place and back yard so good."

"Where do you live?"

"A small apartment about fifteen minutes from school. Just me and Gabe." Nico could hear the sadness behind those words.

Maybe Percy had a dark past just like Nico had.

"By the way, there is my ex." Percy pointed to a pretty blond girl who was walking towards them.

"She looks scary." Nico said when he noticed the grey eyes, "do you only hang around scary people?"

"No." Percy said shortly.

"Seaweed brain." The girl had her arms crossed over her chest, she was good looking. Her blond hair was sat up in a high ponytail, the tips were together in soft curls. Her grey eyes matched the grey dress perfectly, and she had this glow to her, a glow that said she would beat your ass in a second. Scary but beautiful.

"I told you not to call me that."

"Gabe told me you wanted to get back together, then he handed me this beautiful bouquet only when I looked closer, it had poison ivy in it." Her voice was sharp and intelligent.

"I never wanted to get back together, what part of I'm gay don't you get?" Percy scoffed and look at Nico as if Nico would know the answer to that.

"So this is your new toy?"

"Cut it out Annabeth." Percy said, "he hasn't done anything to you."

"Why would Gabe lie to me?" Annabeth asked.

"Because he is my lousy stepfather, how many times hadn't you yourself pointed that out? I'm not here to get engaged with you, I'm here with my boyfriend."

"So how did you meet?" Annabeth asked the question to Nico, Nico how knew he was pale and looking as if he would pee his pants in any second.

"We go to the same school, we both got detention but didn't think much about it, until later that is..." Nico cleared his throat. "After the detention I went to Starbucks, to get some hot chocolate. He just happened to be standing there, working, looking a little stressed since he had to rush from school to his work. We started talking and things just went off from there."

Nico had never come up with a better lie than that. He thought he would die.

"First date?" Annabeth continued interrogating him.

"Movies, he had never seen The night before Christmas, so we walked home from school one day, sat down on my bed and watched the movie on my laptop."

"You make it sound so unromantic Neeks," Percy said playfully nudging him with his elbow.

"It's true though, we did." Nico argued, he didn't know why he felt so protective over the lie but he did.

"It is true," Percy glanced at Annabeth, "but we also lit some candles, and I brought candy. And after the movie we laid down on your bed and talked."

"Don't remember must have fallen asleep." Nico turned away in mock anger.

"You told me you loved my eyes!" Percy said in mock surprise.

"Fine don't tell me the truth, I hope you two have a happier ending. Just so you know Nico, this guy sucks in bed."

"I do not!" Percy protested. "I am way better now that I am with someone I can truly love. And just so you know, I am better off with Nico then I ever was with you. You were a soul sucking bitch who used me."

"Is that the nasty way to say Fuck you?" Annabeth asked before she stalked off.

Percy took the cup from Nico and put it on the nearest table, then he pushed him up against the wall. Percy was taller than Nico, in any other scenario Nico would have freaked and kicked him between the legs. Now though, now he went up on his tip toes and welcomed the kiss. Percy's lips were warm and chapped, they were foreign but they made it work. Percy's hands on Nico's jaw, Nico's hands on the small of Percy's back. The kiss was hot and new, and it made Nico's stomach fall to the floor.

"I'm sorry," Percy said pulling away, "caught in the moment, I hate Annie, she made me worthless, and here I am with you and you make me smile with the simplest way."

"Couldn't the two of you find a better way to make Annie cry?" someone asked making Percy step away from Nico.

Nico was warm all over and if he wasn't blushing he would be surprised. But he was also so cold, he missed the warmth from Percy's body.

"Sorry Piper."

The girl had uneven brown hair, she had feathers in it and pearls making her look exotic. Her brown skin, and multicolored eyes made her mesmerizing to look at... if you liked girls.

"So Annie is crying and probably on her way home, most of the girls in here have put on better music and have settled for treating it more like a party than a competition to win you."

"Good, cause I'm gay." Percy said bluntly.

"How are you?" Piper asked Nico.

"Fake boyfriend," he shook her hand, "you?"

"Best friend." Piper smiled, "I like you, you better cherish him Perce."

It stung a little in Nico's heart that Piper called him Perce just like he had done just half an hour ago. Sure, she had probably been using it since they were kids but somehow it felt like it was his nickname now.

"What other way would you have suggested that I would make Annie cry?" Percy asked with interest.

"Go up on the stage and say fuck you." Piper gave a goofy smile, "then she could have run into my arms."

"Sorry I haven't introduced my best friend completely. Nico, this is Piper the raging lesbian that happens to live across the street from me." Percy said.

"Ah stop it you making me blush!" Piper's voice was sweet but she sucker punched him in the arm making him wince. "Now skedaddle, I will take care of the party and Gabe."

"Love you." Percy said kissing her forehead before dragging Nico out of the room and out of the house.

Now Nico had no idea of where they were to begin with, so when Percy got up on his motorcycle and held out the spare helmet for Nico he wasn't sure if he wanted to follow. The ride before had been full of adrenaline, the party had been confusing, and that kiss had been blinding. On one side, he would like to go home and talk to his sister, but on the other he wanted to kiss Percy again. He wanted to kiss a stranger again.

"What are you waiting for? Don't you trust me?" Percy said with a gullible smile.

"Why would I Aladdin?"

"Well I haven't seen the night before Christmas and I really liked the idea of lit candles and a long nice talk."

Nico thought it over for a second before he took the helmet, and soon they were on their way to Percy's apartment.
