Okay first of all this is my favorite old time All Time Low song, imagine me as a fifteen year old jamming out to this! So of course I had to pick this song when I wanted to write a song to All Time Low. Although I made it more romantic... hopefully.

It was the first night in their new apartment. Nico was chilly and had stolen the cover plus a blanket. Leo had to lay with only a blanket, but he didn't mind since he was warm blooded and he knew that Nico was as cold as ice even during hot summer days. 
   They had their very own apartment, and their first very own king size bed. Nico had thought it was a little to big in the shop, but Leo adored it and Nico couldn't argue with him when he made those puppy eyes! So Nico, with the cover and blanket, laid bundled up content of the warmth. Leo laid on his side, which was the closest to the window since he liked to see the stars before falling asleep, with his one blanket and stared at the little black tuft of Nico's hair was peaking out from his fort.
   "Neeks?" Leo knew that Nico didn't sleep, he could hear it when Nico was asleep, he had this soft snore that Leo loved so much that sometimes he laid awake with a stupid grin.
   "What?" Nico sounded tired, and he didn't come out from the warmth but he was listening which was enough.
   "Maybe the bed was a little to big..." Leo admitted.
   "Why you say that?" This time he poked his head out, his hair was a mess and his cheeks were red from the warmth.
   "I mean, we both know I'm gonna cuddle up with you before we fall asleep and we're going to cover up like twenty percent of the whole bed."
   "So? We have thought of buying a dog, I want a husky by the way, so he or she can cover the rest I don't mind." Nico said easily.
   "I don't want a husky, I would feel so bad for it during summer! And we don't even have a backyard or front yard where he can come and go as he likes." Leo sighed, "wouldn't I don't know a golden retriever be better?"
   "But I want a dog with multicolored eyes and soft fur!" Nico pouted and retreated back into his cocoon.
   "Well... I don't know Neeks, I want a big dog but one that won't suffer during most of the year, we live in California for gods sake." Leo reached towards Nico and pulled down the covers from his boyfriends face.
   "Just because we live in California and get a husky doesn't mean he or she will die. Joey Graceffa has two and they haven't died yet." Nico argued.

   "He is also a wealthy youtuber." Leo pointed out, "and doesn't he have a house?"
   "Fine we start with a dog that aren't a husky, but we will get one you know!"
   "Sounds more like you are arguing for a baby than a dog," Leo chuckled and stroked Nico's cheek.
   "Yeah well we said we would wait with that." Nico closed his eyes and took a deep breath as if he was preparing for sleep.
   "So how about a German Shepard? They're cute, especially as a puppy." Leo said with a smile. "They aren't super fluffy but they are pretty similar to Huskies."
   "Fine." Nico said giving up since he knew he couldn't argue with Leo this time a night, and the fact that he would get a husky someday made up for it.
   "So how was day?"  Leo asked changing the subject, Leo loved that they could just chat mindlessly from now on in bed.
   Before when the both of them lived at home with their parents it hadn't been easy. While they had sleep over at Nico's house, his sister Bianca would come in and demand that she heard all the secrets, and Nico's other sister Hazel made a big deal out of it if they watched a late night movie without her.
   At Leo's place it wasn't any siblings to disturb them. But his mother on the other hand... she would come in every fifteen minutes with somethings, cookies, soda, food, a movie, just to check if they were okay, a condom. Leo thought he would die when she entered his room one time holding a condom. Nico just laughed and told Leo's mother that they weren't planing on doing anything, which just made her leave it on the bedside table! 
   Nico thought it was charming, Leo thought it was annoying. They didn't have any privacy and it didn't feel like they could just small talk about nothing while holding hands or something. Not that they held hands now, they didn't need to.

   "My day?" Nico yawned.  "Well I unpacked the kitchen so I put everything where I'm used to having them."
   Leo scrounged his nose at this but he knew he would have done the same if he had unpacked the kitchen.
    "Then I went out and bought light bulbs because somehow we didn't have any." Nico laughed, "the poor woman at the store tried to ask what kind I needed and I just stared at her blankly. I didn't know there could be different kinds! So I texted Jason who was doing the living room so he had to check every lamp, the poor kid."
   Nico had this amazing laugh were he snorted, which only made him laugh harder.
   "Jason helped you out?" Leo asked.
   "Sure, he didn't have anything to do since he had a day off and Piper decided to spend it at the library with Annabeth."Nico explained, "I would have felt bad if I turned him down. So I made him set up the TV, wi-fi, the stereo and the DVD. Somehow he is good with electricity."
   "Well that explains why we actually have a TV to watch." Leo laughed.

   "Yeah, well after the light bulbs were bought I returned home, did the bedroom and the I had a late lunch. Jason ditched me after a while saying he would rather spend the day with Percy."
   "Isn't he normally just playing games whenever Annabeth isn't home?" Leo asked.
   "Well yeah, with breaks to check on the baby."
   "Of course, so Jason would rather hang around a baby than you." Leo grinned.
   "If this bed wasn't so big, and I wasn't so lazy I would kick you out." Nico warned. "Now, your day."
   "Nothing much, morning shift at the workshop, then quick lunch before rushing to Starbucks. Then I believe I made a date with a very handsome man, I had planned the date perfectly with a nice Italian restaurant, a movie, and then I imagined some kisses and candles." Leo said.

   "So what happened?" Nico sounded intrigued.
   "He called me two minutes before we would meet and told me that he just couldn't get the curtains on the damn pole."
   "Sorry but it was true! I'm short and Jason had left me all alone, and he hadn't even built together one of the chairs we bought. IKEA is evil!" Nico half laughed, half apologized.
   "Yeah, yeah." Leo smiled.
   "I'll make it up to you tomorrow. It's your day off and I don't have any plans." Nico said moving closer carefully not to ruin the cocoon.
   "You are going to meet your father to see if you can work for him." Leo reminded him, "and then a meeting with your step mother because she wanted your opinion on something?"
   "She wanted to get my opinion on what she is going to give him as a five year wedding present." Nico said yawning again.
   "Oh okay."
   "And by the way didn't you make a date with Piper to look at baby clothes or something like that?" Nico asked.
   "Was that tomorrow?"
   "Yeah I vaguely remembered that Jason mentioned it earlier today." 
   "Damn it! Do you think it will take long? They are only twenty two why are they having children? Stop getting pregnant goddammit." Leo said raising his voice in fake anger.
   "Better than Percy and Annie, they had their when they were only twenty, and I heard rumors that they are expecting another one right now. Piper is going to be so happy to have someone to be pregnant with." Nico smiled engulfing Leo in the cocoon.
   "Don't you just love the fact that everyone is having babies and we are getting a dog?" Leo chuckled.
   "Well a) we can't biologically have children, we can't even make one on mistake. B) the dog will be our baby."
   "Don't tell me you're going to dress it up in ridiculous clothes and take pictures with it." Leo sighed and ripped off the blankets from them, he was dying from heatstroke.
   "Hell no, I may be gay but not that gay!"
   Leo placed a small kiss on his boyfriend's lips, they were soft and tasted of their mint toothpaste. 

   "Okay maybe I am that gay." Nico complied and kissed Leo again.
   "No more dog talk, now we are going to sleep and tomorrow I will take you to a kennel and see if we can find a real one."
   "But we haven't bought any dog things, and things are so complicated now in the beginning."
   "I got extra money from my father as a present, and you got some from your father right? So money isn't a problem, and when we start working we can leave it with Jason and Piper who live next door." Leo said, now it was his turn to yawn.
   "Yeah okay... and my dad will probably let me take a week or two to settle in before letting me work, and if he gets to know about the dog I'm sure he would let me take it to work. I mean I will have my own office and just write reports all day." Nico nodded and calmed down a bit, things would work out, it was just scary because it was new.
   "I love you, good night." Leo said giving Nico a chaste kiss on the cheek.
   "Good night, I love you," Nico said pulling him closer.
