Angel sat on the chair and held her face on her hands. She cried a lot. She was relaying the news she heard.

Dave is innocent.

Angel also remembered the words she said to him. She felt disgusted on thinking of the things she said to him.

Her parents who came to meet her had said that the accused have been caught after she disappeared.

She had been feeling awful that Dave was one of those who raped her.

But after hearing from her parents that Dave was not one of them she was disgusted about herself.

The guy who had brought her parents back to her life.

She ran out of the room to see where Dave is. She searched him on the living room and garden.

One boy who was working there said he is still in the room. She didn't knock but stormed into the room to find him showing his back to her.

When he heard the door opening, he slowly turned to see who it was. The sorrow filled eyes became more depressed when it meet her face.

She couldn't stand seeing him like this. Her disgust on herself was growing every moment.

She saw him turning back again to pack his clothes. Her eyes reached the pile of his clothes which were packed.

She asked slowly with a cautious voice, "When is the flight? " She knew that it was early for them to leave.

Without turning back he replied, "10:00PM." She wanted to run to him and hug him tight from behind.

She didn't want to argue any further so she replied, "Okay, let me pack my clothes too."

His reply was again without seeing her, "You can stay for sometime and after that you can go home."

She knew what it meant too. He is going away from me.

Her voice was feeble and even cracking, "Which is my home Dave?"

His voice was stone cold, "You have your family now. Go to them. You can take your daughter too." He turned back but gaze was at the floor not looking a her, "Can I see your daughter when I want to?"

Angel said, "You and her are my family. She is not just my daughter, she is yours too. Dad doesn't need permission to see his daughter."

Dave looked at her and her eyes were pleading to him. She took a step forward and caught his palm. Her voice was feeble, "I know I did a mistake."

Dave had enough. He pulled his hand from hers and took a step backward. His voice was loud enough to shock Angel, "That's not just a mistake! If you had said I cheated on you, I would have thought you are insecure and made you feel secure but you called me a BLOODY RAPIST."

She was again looking at him pleasing hands mouthing sorry. She was not going to let him alone.

She hugged him tight but he didn't hug her back. She sobbed on his shirt saying with breaking voice, "I know I am selfish but I need you, Dave."
She cupped his cheek and kissed his chin and he was emotion less. She said while snuggling on his neck, "Dave, Not this punishment. Please not this punishment. I can't stay without you."

Dace spoke for the first time, "How can you say all this after calling me a rapist?"

Angel hugged him so tight on his chest. Her voice came out in pieces, "This is me. This is what world did to me. I am thinking of everything as bad. This world killed everything good in me. I am sorry Dave."

Dave was still silent. He didn't hug her till now. Angel hugged him even more tighter while saying, "I nearly died due to a mistake for which I was no way responsible for. Then think of what will happen if the mistake is because of me."

Dave was still silent when she says loud, "I will die due to sorrow If you don't come."

The word die shook Dave so he hugged her tight and kisses her cheeks.

She felt great to be on his arms. He made her snuggle on his arms.

She could hear his words directly into her ears. He said, "DON'T SAY ANYTHING LIKE DYING."

She was experiencing his warmth again and she didn't want to miss it.

They laid on the bed and cuddled. She laid her head on his arm.

After sometime she said, "Let me pack our clothes. Your daughter would be waiting for us."

She kissed his lips which he returned. Both of them said "I love you" at the same time and spent few minutes of their eternal happiness in each other's hands.

AUTHOR'S NOTE:

I know that I have to be offline lifestory1995 aaradhana_adithya but I got 45 minutes break. I wanted to write Her Dreams as usual but I suddenly wanted to write this.

Thanks akka for letting me write this.

It's an honour to write like this.

This chapter has been planned out and written on 45 minutes on a moving bus so don't expect it to be great.

I can't match brilliance.

If anything I mentioned is wrong, I am sorry.
