I made my armor sink into my skin as they came up and Walls opened the door with a confused and protective expression on his face, and I stepped in and closed the door looking ahead like nothing happened. 

"Ember, what happened back there, we were ambushed and you weren't there to deal with them" Walls asked and I shrugged, and turned to glare at him. 

I'm sorry, but I had my own problems at the moment, of which were a threat to my life whereas the only threat to you all was the threat on your rounds and fuel" I growled and Walls was taken-aback by my sudden outburst after being with them for less than three hours, or less than forty minutes. I didn't remember how long, but I did know that it was longer than I was comfortable with so far without any food, drink, or introductions from the others. Plus an explanation about what I was going to be doing as part of this 'army' and why they wanted me in it so badly. 

"I am also angry that I haven't been greeted as an equal individual of this car and don't even know any of your actual names" I glared at Walls, and his face turned into what looked like a slight amount of shame or something, and he was about to say something when our driver cut him off" 

"It's a privilege that you even get to ride in this transport and not some lowly piece of crap" I scoffed and looked at him through the mirror "who in the world can you find that funny" 

"I find it funny that a man that is barely even a senior in this group with a snotty and punk-ass attitude is driving what he thinks is a 'highly valued vehicle when really this piece of trash is going to more than likely going to break down on you somewhere during your trips and either leave you stranded, surrounded, dead, or captured. Which to you all I think would be worse than death itself" I said and he paled a little but his pride made him open his mouth to retort my statement, but no words came out and his mouth only closed again as he huffed in annoyance and frustration. I smiled and looked at Walls for further information, and I found him looking at me in a shocked and seemingly admiring state. 

"Well are you going to tell me names or do I just have to sit here in annoyance" I said, and he didn't reply making me growl "fine I'll go first, my name is Ember Stone-Ash, and that's a hyphenated last name just-so-you-know" I then waited patiently for him to talk, but then he entered the highway, and the topic was shoved down as the troughs of traffic reached our sensitive ears. The constant honking of their horns made us all have to plug our ears, except for the driver because he had ear muffs like he knew that this was going to happen. 

"Remind me again why we took the main roads!" the soldier next to me, who turned out to be a woman after all, yelled at the driver, but he couldn't hear her. Same as everyone else couldn't hear the buzzing screech of the object flying at us from our left, well until it exploded that is. I looked left to see a ball of metal and fire flying at us and I huffed in annoyance at the fact that they were deaf in the traffic of the road to notice the stupid thing. I had to admit that the people that timed this did it very well considering that they were more than likely evil or bad people. 

The truck was thrown into the air and the soldier next to me bashes her head on the window, cracking it, and went limp. Everything went in slow motion as the truck spun in the air, and I saw the everyone in the car get knocked out by all of the jostling before the truck hit the car next to us. Crushing the top in a screech of metal and more than likely killing the person inside. I sat there for a second dazed till another explosion hit the truck behind us and I blacked out as soon as the shooting and screaming started.

I slowly opened my eyes to the sound of burning and I tried to unbuckle, but the stupid thing was stuck, so I just growled in frustration and ripped the entire thing out of the seat. Cutting it with my claws would've been easier, but I wasn't worried about what would've been faster or not at the moment. I fell down onto the roof of the car with a grunt and slowly turned around and ripped out everyone before shoving them out of right window. Since I still didn't feel so well about the left side of the car just yet, and then I squeezed myself out of my window and landed on the woman causing her to stir. I slowly stood up and looked around, and then I noticed that the other truck that was behind us was a fiery mess, and there would be no saving them. I looked around at the chaos to see that there were no humans around anymore. At least that was good, and then I noticed the group of wolves and human-like creatures that had a strange smell. like they were everything and nothing, shapeshifters. I growled and my armor appeared and I pushed everything aside and made a wall behind me where I tossed the three over so that they would be safe during this, since many creatures were after me. It pissed me off, but I just growled in annoyance and drew my swords before waling up to them. Yeah my weapons were taken away from me by that wolf with the power of magnetism, but they returned to me as soon as I got in the truck the second time before it was destroyed. 

I walked up to the small army, and stopped before them with my swords held in a defensive position, and I scowled at the lead shapeshifter man. 

"So are you going to tell me why you blew me and my friends us and killed them" I pointed to the burning truck, and the man smiled evilly. 

"Really you think they are your friends. They ran you out of your home, and they have been nothing but nuisances the entire trip, so tell me again who's friends with who" he said and I wavered in indecision (need help on the right word), and he knew it because he smiled and started to walk up to me. I took a step back and raised my swords once again, and growled dangerously at him making him stop suddenly. 

"I don't care about whether they like me or not, but I do know that they would stand by my side as I would them" I said and the man smirked again.

"You barely even know who they are, and them you, but I, I know everything about you. Your early bullied life in middle-school only to be treated the same in high-school, even with popularity and intelligence. You were nothing, and for four, no more than eight years of your life, and look at you now. A queen, a queen of all, the queen of all" he said and that got me confused. I kept up my guard, but didn't care to hide my curiosity. 

"What do you mean queen of everything?" I asked and he tsked me walking back and forth like a caged tiger. 

"I mean, you are my queen, you are their queen, and you are the very earth's queen" he said "that's why you've been changing colors in wolf form. One for fire, one for sky, one for light, one for darkness, one for nature, one for earth, one for water, one for metal, one for life or creation as I call it, and one for every other element and thing that you could think of" his fangs were showing as he told me. Then he started to come forward, and he pushed away my swords and grabbed my shoulders. I let him. 

"That wolf that bit you was only to be the beginning" he said and his fangs shone in the sunlight "you were destined to become everything and all things, to be able to become a part of your element in it's whole" and I believed him, but I didn't want to be bitten by this butt-hole, who thought that he could break me down by telling me my past and why it happened that way hoping that I would break and give up. And let him have me as his...no way in hell was I going to let that happen. I dropped my swords as he pushed off the neck armor that I had and then my right shoulder pad so that it would go in the place where the neck meets that collar-bone smirking and hissing evilly in victory. 

Then I drew my daggers and shoved them up his chest, under his ribs, and through his heart as his face started to come down, and I made it seem like I liked it as he bit me. Then I smiled and pushed aside his dead body and it fell to the ground sounding like an earthquake. The knives visible in the light, and his blood on my neck and chest. I picked up my swords and ran at them taking advantage of their shock to kill a few of them without problems. I went for the shapeshifters first since they were the stronger of the two and I managed to kill five of them and then the seven others realized what had happened and they shifted into creatures so ancient that not even dragons could've killed them. How I knew that I didn't know but I did, and I was the only one to be able to kill them. 

I growled in annoyance as they shot into the air and the werewolves lept forward intending to rip me apart, but I just stood there watching them in slow motion as I thought about what he said. I could control the elements, the streaks of color in my hair, and I thought about what the lightning bolt looked like- Black, White, Red, Orange, Violet, Green, and Sky Blue. Black meant Shadows maybe, White meant Light, Red meant Lava or something close, Orange meant Sun-rays, Violet meant Magnetism or Gravity, Green meant Nature or Plant-life, and Sky Blue meant the Winds and Clouds. 

I rolled under them and dragged my sword along the belly of the one that was in-front of me, a dark brown wolf with yellow streaks in it's fur. The next one on it's left was black with white patterns on it's fur, but sadly for it I made a quick swipe and it lost it's head. Then one of the shapeshifters in their strange creature form dived from the air and took a swipe at me. I ducked and went to cut through it's midsection, but something rammed into my side and sent me flying into the air only for the creature things to catch me. I dropped my swords, but they went right back to their sheathes. Unfortunately for the shapeshifter in the form of this griffin-drakon like creature, I had knives that could cut through pretty much everything. I drew two of them and stabbed the back of the foot that was holding me, and the next thing I knew there was a screech of pain and the howling wind rushing through my ears. I turned around and landed on the ground creating a large crater that sent shock-waves through the entire area. Then my time was spent rolling, ducking, slashing, cutting, and growling in pain and annoyance as I was cut or stabbed. 

I stopped and noticed that there was a bunch of blood, heads, and guts on the ground around me, but I wasn't worried about that. I went to walk back to where I left the others, and I took a step forward and my legs failed me as I fell to the ground and blacked out.
