I stayed there looking at the sky until it was time for me to go to my first class, and when it was time I flew there and got inside just before the first students. I was glad that the doors were wide because otherwise I would've had to shift and go in instead of just tucking in my wings and walking inside. Then I figured that I might as well shift because we were going to be doing the cats this time today. I went back outside, shifted, and walked back inside, but I caught two girls that were looking at me in shock before I stepped through the doors. 

I stepped inside and took a place on one of the large dots on the floor marking spots to sit in. When everyone else came I was left at least one or two spaces between me and the people sitting next to me, and it also depended if they moved or not. The class went by fast, with her instructing us all to go outside, and for the feline shifters to shift. I found out that there was a Bengal Tiger, a White Lion, a Bobcat, Puma, and other things as well as the teacher turning into her Siberian Tiger. They followed what she did, but some of them had a difficulty due to their free and uncaring about anything cat nature. 

I then went to combat class and got there before them again, but everyone was also wary of me and John was looking at me in pity for the whole time that I was sparring with another person. Then the other classes...learning about different types of weapons and how to hold them, and that's all I really wanted to remember for the day. It was then free time to travel around the school, but I didn't want to do anything except for finding my dorm which took an hour, and going to my bed and sleeping. I woke up in the hospital again, and I had no idea why. I sat up and was met by a large blinding headache that seared through my brain. 

"Don't sit up too fast" it was John again

"Why do you keep on coming to the hospital with me" I asked "I am just a cursed thing that doesn't belong here" 

"No you aren't" he said "do you know how long you were out for" 

"No" I said "how long" 

"Two weeks, and when we found you in your bed and not breathing we rushed you here" he said "they were about to put you in a bag saying that you had died, but I asked them to wait a day, and surprisingly they did. That puts up some thought, why aren't you breathing. I haven't heard or seen you take a breath the entire I've known you" I sighed and got ready to say something about it, but then Mrs Terror came in and jumped close to three feet when she saw me sitting up in bed. 

"How in the world" she said "I was just about to come in and get John for the assembly, but if you are 'up then I guess that you both can follow me, and speaking of how are you awake. You were about to be pronounced dead to everyone" great another person to find out about my secret I thought

"I don't need to breath" I said "ever since my accident a couple of months ago I woke up and never needed to take a breath once since." This shocked them both, and they looked at me in confusion before Mrs. Terror snapped out of it and motioned for us to follow her. I was just about to get out of the bed, but I noticed that I didn't have any clothes on other than a long gown. 

"Um where are my clothes" I asked embarrassed 

"Oh right" John said and went over to a closet, and grabbed the clothes that I was wearing two weeks ago when I had 'died' and they had been cleaned. I was thankful for that, but I couldn't get out of bed just yet. 

"Can I have some privacy please" I saw him leave, but the principal stayed and watched me "what are you doing"

"We are both women so I can be in here with you and it shouldn't matter" she said and I sighed, and then stepped out of bed. I heard her take a breath when she saw all of my bite mark scars, and then I felt a large pain on my back and arms. I shook from the pain and weakness that I was feeling. 

"Did you know how you got that tattoo" she said when I was dressed. 

"What tattoo" I asked

"The one on your back" she said and I still didn't know what she was talking about 

"I have no idea what you are talking about" I said "where are we going" 

"The auditorium is like the place that you first saw me, but much bigger" she said with an exited voice

"Great' I whispered, but I'm sure that she heard me because she tilted her head towards me a little before dismissing it walking quickly ahead of me. She rounded two turns, and we came through a section, and I saw every kid in the school looking at the stage and talking to each other excitedly. 

"How is everyone doing today" Mrs. Terror said into a mike when she got on the stage, and then I saw my classmates a couple of rows away, and guessed that this happened during the beginning of the day and everyone was sitting with their first hour classes. I went over and sat next to the teacher, and when I sat down she had gotten startled by my appearance, and then turned to me. 

"Where were you for the past two weeks" she scorned me

"In the academy hospital again" I said and she softened a little and looked back at the stage. 

"How is everyone doing" she said a little more enthusiastically when everyone was looking at her, and a wave of excited yells went to the stage "I know that the second to fourth years already know your powers, but we are going to be testing both powers, and rankings today just in case you've gotten new powers. I am going to call people down through a list that I have right here, and I want you to come down here and stand in the middle of this elements circle. Whatever power you have will lift or light up, and some might even some to you. I am going to call you down by first names, and when you find out what your element is I want you to sit with the other people with that element." she started to call people down, and when they found their element they either jumped up and down, covered their mouths crying a little, stood there in shock for a second, or showed no emotion as the went to their 'factions'. 

"Ember will you please come down here" I got up, and as I walked down the stairs. I heard whispers about me that weren't really suppressed from me hearing them. "I heard that she was pronounced dead" "did you see what happened to her in her dorm a couple of weeks back" "do you know what happened to her" and many other things. I ignored them as I walked past them and down the three flights of stairs that I had left. I was almost at the stage when all of the talking stopped, and because I was thinking about my own things I didn't noticed that all of the elements were already glowing, sparking, and jumping around. There was Wind, Fire, Water, Ice, Metal, Gems, Lightning, Light, and darkness, but the only one that wasn't jumping up or moving at all was the animal tat represented nature, and animal bonds. 

It was shaking, and I had just stepped onto the first step when it jumped off it's pedestal, and ran behind the curtain. Then the elements did something that I didn't see in the others. They all lifted up and started to form into shapes...animal shapes. They turned into a dragon, a phoenix, snake, wolf with wings and stayed that turning into several colors, and then it turned into two identical teeth, and solidified into the wolf that looked like the one that attacked me. Then it dropped to the floor, and shattered into large pieces. 

I stayed there in shock, and noticed that the entire place was dead quiet, and then I dismissed myself and went out the door  into the hallway. After I left the place was quiet for a little while longer, and then she started to call out other names. After this I snuck to my section and sat there in silence, and then I waited for the next part of the 'testing'. It came sooner than I expected because I saw that the principal was already coming to the stage again with a new set-up and another list. Everyone was talking about what they, other, or their friends got, and if they wanted to be friends with anyone that they saw go up there and get their powers or new ones. 

I wasn't talked about or noticed thankfully, an d when I sat down next to my teacher she stiffened but didn't ask or say anything. Then the Mrs. Terror started with the new list. 

"Whoever I call I want to come up and put there hand on this stone" she said pointing to a stone that looked clear at the end, and then she walked along the stones putting her hand on each of them and saying what they were and meant. The first was something like rookie, and it was never a stand alone except for one time, and that person killed themselves from sadness. The last stone has never been achieved before and it was of royal status for the king and queen. The only reason why it was out is because all of the newbies here could be their lost child. 

She also said that if there was a person that would go past this, and both light up then that would be a lost child and a being, or person of supernatural status. I swear that almost everyone looked at me, but when I looked around I didn't see anyone looking at me. Then she started to call up the names but this time she started by last names first except for me I don't think that I had a last name, or I didn't remember it. 

"Ember would you please come down here one last time if you are still in here" Mrs. Terror said looking around for me. I got up and felt everyone's eyes watching me with fear and anticipation as I walked to the stage. As I got to the stage, I went to the first rock, and it lit up brightly, then the next, and the next till all of the rocks were glowing and there was a black and white glow in the last rock that was never light up... till now. Then it exploded sending rocks that were white and black into the crowd. I stepped back in shock then turned and ran to the back exit, and went to my dorm for the night. 

Sorry guys that I haven't update in a wile, I haven't been in the writing mood recently and I don't know when  I'll update again...so I hope that you enjoyed a rather short chapter and I'll try to have more for all of my books out soon.
