Allison's POV:

"So...how is she?" I hesitantly ask Deaton.

"Please tell us you know something about this." Scott sighed, gesturing to my unconscious girlfriend that laid flat on the metal table in the clinic.

"We all saw her get stabbed by the Oni's sword from the Nogitsune. Her powers didn't heal her in time." Kira added with a solemn expression.

Lydia crossed her arms. "From what she told us, she's a Caladrius."

"With the bonus of having awesome fire abilities." Stiles pointed to Olivia's hand.

Deaton moves a piece of skeleton armor away from her stomach, showing the large scar where the stab wound was. "If my assumptions are correct, Olivia isn't a Caladrius." He looks up at us with a small smile. "She's a Phoenix."

Stiles narrowed his eyes. "That doesn't give us an explanation of how Kate miraculously resurrected her from the dead."

"This wasn't Kate. Olivia was able to come back to life similar to the stories about the phoenix obtaining a new life by arising from the ashes of its descendants." He gestures to the scar on her stomach. "Every fatal blow she gets, it leaves a scar as a remembrance of her old life."

"So, are you saying she's immune to death?" Scott asked, but Deaton shakes his head.

"I never said that. A phoenix could still die from—"

A small grunt escapes from her lips which causes all of us to snap our heads towards her. She tiredly rubbed her eyes and holds the side of her head in pain.

"Ugh, I feel like I got hit by a car." She groans and looks up with confusion as she stared at all of us. Her eyes scan through all of us, but her eyes land on me. "Why are you all staring at me as if you've just seen a ghost?"

"Because we're not even sure if you're real," Stiles says and reaches to pinch her arm, but she quickly grabs his wrist with a glare.

"Don't pinch me."

Stiles nods immediately. "Okay, it's you." He says with a smile and brings her into a tight hug. "I don't know how you're alive, but I don't care."

"Woah, get away from me!" Olivia harshly shoved him off of her. "You're not tricking me this time."

He pulls away with a puzzled look. "What are you talking about?"

"You should get some rest, Olivia." Deaton says and pulls Stiles away. "I want to double-check to see if Kate did anything to you."

She shakes her head. "Who's Kate? Ugh, whatever. I just want to get out of..." She looks down at the bones she still wore. "you know, I actually don't want to know whose bones are these. I want to go home and shower because I don't want to be here when the Nogitsune pops out."

My eyes widen. "What did you just say?"

She furrowed her eyebrows in confusion. "The Nogitsune? Come on guys, I thought we already talked about this." She looks around at all of us. "Where's Isaac?"

"Olivia...what's the last thing you remembered?" Deaton cautiously asked and Olivia scratched the back of her neck in thought.

"It's a bit of a blur. I think...oh," She scrunched her nose in disgust. "after when we faced the Nogitsune at the loft."

Stiles worriedly looks to me before facing back to Olivia. "She doesn't remember when she..." He whispered so only I could hear.

She crossed her arms with a look of annoyance. "I'm right here, you know."

"Olivia," Deaton comfortingly places his hand on her arm. "it's been two months since then."

Her eyes widen slightly. "You're kidding." She whispered and worriedly glances down at her bone armor. "What the hell did I miss?"

"We can talk about it another day." Lydia grabs the bag from the counter and hands it to her. "Allison and I stopped by your house before we got here." She explained and Olivia locks eyes with me with a small smile.

"Thanks." She softly says and carefully slid off the table. She walks over to the restroom in front of the clinic and shuts the door behind her.

"If that's all you guys need then I'm heading home." Deaton grabs his coat off the rack and looks to Scott. "Lock up once you leave." He says before he exited the room.

"All right, who's taking Olivia home to tell her the truth?" Stiles immediately asked us. "I don't know if I'm gonna properly explain to her mom about all of this."

"Same here." Scott added and Kira nods in agreement. "I mean, should we even tell her?"

"I'm not the one who's dating her." Lydia says and their eyes trained on me.

"Why does it have to be me?" I scold. "How am I supposed to tell her she died and came back to life?"

"One, you were her first friend. Two, you guys dated and slept with each other. And three, she probably trusts you more than out of all of us." She shrugged and gestured to everyone else. "She'll handle it."

"And what about the rest of you?" I cross my arms. "What are you guys going to be doing?"

"I'm going home." Stiles grabbed his car keys. "Scott and I have tryouts tomorrow and I need all the sleep I can get. Besides, it's not my place to say." He says and walks out of the room without another word.

"I have to go home before my parents send a search party for missing curfew again," Kira says and turns to Scott. "Can you give me a ride?"

Scott nodded. "Of course." The two walk out of the room as well and I turn to Lydia.

"Lydia, please take her. I don't know if I'm ready to talk to her about the things she missed." I plead and a bit of hesitation reaches her eyes. "Just this one time. I promise I'll eventually tell her. Just not yet."

"Fine." She groaned and I sighed in relief. "You can't avoid her forever, you know. She just found out she was gone for two months. She's probably freaking out. You should be there for her." She grabs our car keys and puts mine in my hands with a small smile.

The bathroom door opens and Olivia walks in with a pile of bones in her arms and wore the spare clothes Lydia brought. "It took a while to get off, but somehow I still did it!" She drops the pile onto the table but looks around in confusion. "Where did everybody go?"

"They had to head home." I awkwardly scratch my neck and get off the table.

Lydia nudged Olivia's side "I can take you back to your house."

"Oh...okay."

Olivia's POV:

The car ride to my house...let's just say it didn't have a whole lot of talking. The only noise in the car was songs from the radio that played from the speakers.

Usually, I didn't mind the silence between us, but this time it was different. I rarely went on rides with Lydia since we had our own cars so it's been awhile.

"So..." I awkwardly trail. "how's school? Anything new?" I internally cringe at the sentence. Way to go, Olivia. You sound like a grandma.

"It's good. Same old stuff." She responded. "I mean, we went to Mexico to save Derek. Kate turned him into a teenager."

My eyes widen. "Really? I wish I could've seen that. I'm curious if he still stayed as his grumpy self."

"I wouldn't be surprised. Stiles almost got beaten up by him for lying about his family." She chuckled. "It was a terrible lie to begin with in my opinion."

"Of course it would be terrible." I roll my eyes playfully. "What about my mom and Isaac? How are they doing?"

She tensed. "Isaac left with Allison's dad to France. He wanted to help find a place to put the Nogitsune fly where no one would find it. He found a place there so he decided to just remain where they were."

"Oh." I trail off, feeling a sudden weight on my heart. I never got to the chance to say goodbye. "That's good for him. What about my mom?"

"She's doing good too. She took a break from work, but she's supposed to be going back tomorrow." She says with a small smile. "Allison would visit her a couple of times to make sure she's doing okay."

"I'm glad."

I took notice of the familiar house we were driving close to, but I furrow my eyebrows in confusion at the new car parked in the driveway. That definitely wasn't my mom's.

"I thought you said Isaac moved to France," I ask as Lydia parked the car near my mailbox.

"About that," She trails and worriedly looks over to me. "please don't freak out."

I unbuckle my seat belt, feeling my nerves begin to increase. "You're scaring me. What's going on?"

"Just promise me that you won't get mad." She says, grabbing ahold of my hand with a small squeeze. "You have to let your mom explain, okay?"

"Then tell me this," I say, quickly averting my eyes away from our hands, pushing aside the fact this was the first time she held it. "is there anything important I should know about? Did they take me out of school?"

"Your mom told Stilinski to keep it hidden for now from the police reports. The school thinks you're in a coma from some sort of horrible accident." She explains and I nod.

"Okay," I nod slowly. "but I'm still going inside." I pull my hand away and get out of the car, quickly walking over to the front door and knock on the door several times.

"Wait, Oli—"

The door swings open and my mom's shocked expression comes into view. She shakily covers her mouth and I wrap my arms around her frame.

"Hi, mom." My voice muffles against her and I feel her tremble as I spoke. She pulls away a bit and cups my face, pushing a couple of strands away with her eyes brimming with tears.

"You're okay. I-I didn't believe it at first, but you're here" She breathes out and I nod. "You're home."

"I'm home." I wipe my eyes and hear Lydia's footsteps run close from behind me.

"Olivia before you go inside—"

"Liz, who's at the door?" I hear his voice speak which causes my heart to drop.

I pull away from my mom's hold with confusion. "Mom...please tell me that's not who I think it is."

From behind, the man I completely despised my entire life, comes from behind with utter shock as soon as he sees me.

"Olivia?" My dad asks me and I clench my fists, holding back the urge to punch him. "How are you here? I thought you were gone?"

"I should say the same thing." I sigh dramatically and walk further inside the house as Lydia shuts the door behind me. "Why are you still here? What, did you think that since I was gone for awhile, you could finally be a part of mom's life again?"

"Olivia." Lydia whispered, but I didn't tear my eyes away from the pained expression on his face.

"I deserve that." He muttered. "If you let me explain, maybe we can—"

I cut in. "Look, I'm exhausted and frankly, I don't want to talk to you, ever. I'm going to bed and tomorrow when I wake up, you better be gone, okay?"

"Hey, I remember you!" We all turn and see the same girl I had remembered meeting last year as she descended from upstairs.

The same girl that opened the door when Andrea and I found where my dad lived in Miami.

"Are you stalking me now?" She teasingly smiled and stood next to my dad before giving a small nudge in his arm. "See, I told you I wasn't lying."

I crossed my arms. "Who are you?"

She offered her hand with a grin. "I'm Phoebe Jimenez, your sister."

You've got to be kidding me.
