Olivia's POV:

I hand Scott the small briefcase from the backseat of the car, ignoring the stares from Garrett as I did so.

Scott takes off the hinges to the briefcase, revealing the tranquilizer gun I had gotten from Argent. "This is not going to work."

"All you two have to do is stop the car." He says with annoyance lacing his tone as he looked between Scott and I. "I'll take care of the rest."

A van drives passed us and I recognized the car to be one of the station's escort vehicles for Violet.

Garrett immediately starts the car and I quickly adjust the bandana to cover my nose and mouth before I slid my hoodie over my head.

Couldn't have the police, more importantly, Sheriff Stilinski or both Scott and I's dads, identifying our faces.

"There's a stop sign half a mile ahead." Garrett spoke up as he discreetly followed a couple of yards away.

"So I take out the tires...with my claws?" Scott questioned with his eyebrows furrowed.

"Teeth, claws, heat vision, whatever." He listed off with a scoff which caused me to snort.

"What the hell do you think we are? The X-men?"

"I don't care who you are. Just stop them." He muttered in annoyance. "You ready?"

We inched near the vehicle but as we got closer, it became clear that it was tipped over to its side which caused my eyes to widen as I saw one of the bodies weakly crawl over to two of the bodies that were nearby.

"Stop! Stop the car!" Scott yelled and instantly Garrett slammed on the brakes. I rip my seatbelt off the buckle once we stop and practically jump out of the car, not bothering to wait for Scott to follow.

I crouch down to where Sheriff had been pulling Scott's father, who was still unconscious, out of the vehicle while my dad laid a couple of feet away with blood trickling down his ear.

"Dad!" Scott called out then quickly helped Stilinski pull his father from out of the car.

I crouch down to my dad and carefully lift his head, placing my hand on the cut that was on the side of his head. My hand emits a white glow underneath as I felt the cut stitch itself up.

My dad weakly opened his eyes but furrowed his brows in confusion. "Who are you?"

My eyes widen in realization, seeing that I had half of my face covered. "I-I—uh...a friend." I blurt out and pull my hand away.

"Whoever you are," He coughed until he lolled his head to the side. "something big flipped our car over." He tiredly spoke until his eyes shut once more and I carefully placed him back on the ground.

I push myself and peek inside the vehicle, seeing that it was completely empty which meant Violet must have taken off. Well that's just great.

I hear Garrett's daggers spring up from his lacrosse stick and my head snapped towards him, seeing him march towards us with a glare.

"She's not in the car. Violet's gone." I say but he twirled the stick in his hands.

"Scott, listen to me. They're still here." I could hear Stilinski mutter which causes my eyes to widen. "They're still here!"

As if it was on cue, the clatter of bones was heard along with a growl nearby which causes all of us to turn to our left.

The Berserker tilted his head to the side as if he was observing us but Garrett quickly aimed his weapon towards the beast. "You want me? Come on. Come and get me!"

"Garrett..." I warn, knowing damn well that he didn't stand a chance against it. "I wouldn't do that if I were you."

"Come and get me!" Garrett shouted and threateningly twirled his stick around with a smirk, seeing how the Berserker didn't react to his action. "Yeah, that's right! You're not so big. You're not so—"

From behind, another Berserker from the shadows and before I could shout out a warning, it used its dagger-shaped bones to stab through Garrett's heart to lift him up from the ground.

He numbly drops the lacrosse stick which clatters to the floor. "Shit." I whisper but flick my wrists, instantly igniting them into flames.

Once he drops Garrett's body on the ground, I sprint towards the Berserker and jump on its back, wrapping my arm around its neck as it wildly tried to force me off.

"Wait don't—" I hear Scott shout before he's instantly cut off from the Berserker knocking him unconscious by striking him on the ground.

"Scott!" I angrily squeeze tighter around the Berserker's neck. The flames envelop my arms and the creature screeches in pain as the flames traveled along its body.

The next thing I knew, I feel something grab me from behind and it throws me to the side. My head bashes against the van and instantly my vision turns black.

Phoebe's POV:

I watch as Liam shakily reached to grab the next rock, carefully listening to my instructions on which rock was considered good or bad from where I could see.

He nervously glances down and I give a small nod in encouragement, indicating he was at a good distance to reaching the top.

However, the action of him looking back causes his foot to slip from the growing moss along with his hand to lose his grip. "No, no, no, no, no!" He shouted before falling deep into the water.

Luckily I had been leaning against the wall but I still helped pull him to resurface from the water. "Are you okay?"

"Come on!" He angrily shouted before he slammed his fist against the rock, creating an indent of his fist which caused my eyes to widen in shock.

"Liam!" I scold as I carefully used the rocks as leverage to make my way over to him. "What's wrong with you? You practically shattered every bone in your hands!"

"I don't care! How are we supposed to get out of here? This is the second time I fell and by the looks of it, we're both running out of time." He gestured to both of us with a frustrated-filled expression.

"We still have to hold onto hope." I give a small smile. "Allison told me once that Olivia always held onto it."

"I thought you were mad at her?"

"I think it's just pent-up stress and she won't admit it." I give a small shrug. "So even if she doesn't technically like me right now, I'll still respect her and be there for her."

He looks down at his bloody knuckle opened and closed it a few times. "I don't know how Olivia and Scott do it. I can barely get a grip on my anger."

"Well, what do your parents say?" My voice echoed off the walls.

"My dad says when kids get angry they deal with it in one of two ways. They either hurt themselves or they hurt other people."

"Okay but eventually they fight to overcome that feeling to learn and grow from it." I move my hand around in the water. "I used to struggle a lot with my insecurities so my mom made sure that instead of always looking in a negative perspective, I need to have the motivation to find the positives."

"What happened to your mom, if you don't mind me asking?"

"My mom and I were driving home one day and there was this...drunk driver who slammed the front of their car against ours and we ended up crashing into a tree." I keep my stares at the water, remembering the tragic event. "They reported that she died on impact and part of the windshield was lodged into my chest. Practically took a whole day for a pneumonectomy surgery since some of the glass shards damaged one of my lungs."

"I'm so sorry..." I look over and see he held a saddened expression. "It must've been rough."

I shrug. "I've been managing with enough motivation, eventually I'll be better. Besides, it makes an interesting story to tell about having two different lungs." I say and nudge his arm. "Take a breath and tell me what you want to do."

He inhales through his nose with his eyes shut before he locks eyes with me. "I want us both to survive."

I nod. "And how are we going to do that?"

"We do it together."

Olivia's POV:

The dirty blonde-haired woman crouched down to my level with a smirk. "Olivia Rae Jimenez...well Flores since your mom got a divorce. How tragic." She sighed which caused my heart to practically hammer out of my chest. "It's a bit depressing if you ask me."

I felt myself speak but it was practically inaudible due to the ringing in my ear.

She rolled her eyes at my response. "I never thought Allison would swing for a different team, but now I can see why. It was for your appearance and not so much of your intelligence. You're a phoenix for crying out loud!" I catch the woman's eyes flicker green for a second but they returned to brown.

I felt myself speak again which earned a smirk to appear on her expression as she dragged her fingers across my neck. "There's the adorable intelligence Allison fell for." She grinned. "And if seeing me is a surprise, watch this."

My eyes flash open but my vision still remained hazy as I tried to blink a couple of times.

Who the hell was that?

"Hey there." I hear Deaton speak up which causes me to squint my eyes. "I was actually hoping you would be out for a few more minutes." I worriedly glance down and see one of the Berserker's daggers stuck inside my hip.

"Oh god." I mutter, feeling my palms begin to sweat.

"Hey, hey, hey." I feel a hand rest on my shoulder and snap my attention towards them. "Relax." I look up and see Argent who had an apologetic expression. "This is going to hurt, Olivia."

My hands clench onto the edge of the table as Argent uses one hand to press against my stomach while he used the other to grip on the bone dagger.

He yanks the dagger out of my hip which causes me to cry out in pain but Deaton helps me sit up from the metal table. "Can you heal?"

I ignore the question. "Where's Scott?" I mutter but then my eyes widen in realization. "Wait. Are Sheriff, Mr. McCall, and my Dad okay? Where are they?"

"They're at the hospital but Scott's in the bathroom. Hold this." Deaton answered and placed one of the rags against the wound, grabbing my free hand to hold it in place. "They're doing fine."

I turn my head towards Argent. "The things that attacked us? It was the Berserkers." I roll my shoulder around, hearing a small crack which causes me to wince.

"I know, Scott told me about them and Kate. They move fast and don't leave much in the way of tracks."

"Wanna know my first impression of your sister even if I hadn't met her? I can see which parent she got her psychotic traits from."

"Which is why we have to find her." We all turn around and see Scott walk in with a slight limp in his pace. "She's got Violet. I think Violet knows where Liam and Phoebe are."

"Then as much as this hurt," Deaton grabs the dagger-shaped bone from Argent and hands it to Scott. "it could probably also help. Can you get a scent?"

Scott ran ahead of us while Argent and I drove to follow behind but from the route he was going, it seemed like it was nearby Eichen House from when I remembered trying to drive there with Allison but ended up taking a whole different direction.

"Are you and Allison doing okay?" Argent broke the silence between us and I nervously fiddle with my sleeves. "You haven't snuck in her room for a while."

My eyes widen. "You knew about that?"

He lets out a small chuckle. "Olivia, you do realize I have security cameras by her balcony. Of course, I knew."

Scott turns to the next corner and Argent lets out a sigh once he sees that he stopped in front of a warehouse. He types something on his phone before shoving it back in his pocket.

I unbuckle my seat belt before I step out of the car. "If you don't mind me asking, why haven't you said anything?"

"Because it was punishment already for climbing through the side of our building." He walks over to the trunk of his car as it automatically opened to reveal his stash of guns. "You never answered my question though."

"We uh—we broke up two weeks ago." I mumble and awkwardly cross my arms.

"Oh...then you might not like what I'm about to tell you." He said which causes me to furrow my eyebrows in confusion. "She's on her way since I thought it would be best to have backup against the Kate."

Before I could utter another word, a car I recognized to be Allison's had pulled in the lot which caused Scott to approach us with his brows furrowed. "Uh..."

Allison walks over to the three of us with her crossbow in her hand along with daggers attached to her belt, practically avoiding eye contact from me as she only looked to her father. "Have you been here before?"

"I worked here." He momentarily looked up before looking back to his trunk. "We used to own the building. It was part of our business."

"We've fought these things before." Scott nervously glanced between him and Allison. "They're strong."

"No kidding. I became one of them and I don't even remember any of it!" I scoffed and gesture to the wound on my hip that was still healing. "How are we supposed to stop them when they're made out of bones?"

"That's why I brought this." He opens the backseat door and pulls out an assault rifle which caused my eyes to widen.

"Huh..." Scott cleared his throat with an impressed expression. "I'm good with that."
