I'm in my room, dancing,
to my heart's melody.
Put headphones on, swinging,
to the beat of my body.

Spinning in circles, turning,
up the sound of this voice.
The sweet notes, lighting,
colours in me ablaze.

Sun shines through the blinds, soothing,
rays on my skin and bones.
All the pain and worries, leaving,
and me coming home.
