Chloe's pov

We finally got back to canada and they took me to the chiefs house and we sat down.

''how's amanda'' i said

''she is on maternity leave'' he said and i looked at him

''she's pregnant'' i said

''no but nine months gives her enough time to control her powers before she starts another fire at the building'' he said and i nodded

''oh sorry um this is a long story but this is cameron'' i said

''nice to meet you'' chief said

''my brother'' i said and he widened his eyes.

''whoa'' he said and looked at cameron and back to me and i chuckled.

''thats why you were over there in texas'' he said and i shook my head

''nope i think its time i fill you in'' i said and i told him what happened and how my dad was contacting them.

''well i will tell them they need to move him up to maximum security instead of minimum'' he said and i nodded

''girls have been going missing and turn up brutally murdered.'' he said and i looked at the files and i closed them because they were just horrible.

''thats what i said but just look at it'' he said and i took a deep breath and i opened the files again.

''stacey hall eleven years old found brutally murdered in-'' i stopped and i looked at him.

''in little cabins that head up to alaska and stop at the border of it then they go down'' he said

''so far ten all eleven years old all go to one school and parents are starting to get worried'' he said

''they are all brunettes with brown eyes'' i said and he nodded

''they are also all the same height'' i said

''this killer isn't just picking them he's following a pattern'' i said

''so far they are called animal attacks look at the biopsy'' he said and i looked at them and there was slash marks all over their bodies. It was so horrible..

''its a werewolf'' i said and he nodded

''they think its bears since its close to hunting season in early april'' he said

''bears don't come out this early'' i said and sighed

''its the middle of january they wouldn't come out yet'' i said

''true but thats what they are going with since they don't know that werewolves exist'' he said

''and how can they think its a bear a bear won't kidnap them'' i said

''especially take them to the cabin'' i said

''they think someone takes them and then the animal finds them and kills them'' he said

''well then we will figure this out what school?'' i said

''archer elementary school'' he said

''alright me and cameron will look at it when are they usually taken'' i said

''after school five days after the last girl is taken tomorrow is the fifth day'' he said and i nodded

''well we need to get back home because my mate and his is probably going crazy i need to try to link them'' i said

''why can't you'' he said

''i have wolfsbane in my system'' i said and he nodded

''well make sure you are back before three tomorrow'' he said

''we will be here at noon'' i said and he nodded

''lets go retard'' i said and cameron flicked me off.

''wait is amanda at her house'' i said and he nodded

''my dog'' i said chief threw me a set of keys and we got in the car and headed to amanda's.

We knocked on the door and she opened it.

''chloe!'' she squealed and something inside blew up.

''WHAT DID I SAY ABOUT GETTING EXCITED!'' alonzo yelled and we walked in and buddy ran to me and i hugged him.

''oh how much i have missed you'' i said and he covered me in kisses.

''why are you here'' amanda said and smiled

''i wanted to see how it was going and wanted to check on buddy'' i said

''oh'' amanda said and sighed

''maternity leave'' i said and chuckled

''okay ive been here with amanda and i have never heard chiefs name'' alonzo said

''huh i would rather call him chief'' he said and i chuckled.

''so how's everything with chief'' amanda said

''ten girls are dead ten eleven year old girls who are being killed by a werewolf in the woods in cabins along the border'' i said

''well'' amanda said

''we need to go home though'' i said and i put buddy down and alonzo smiled

''we can help you'' he said

''how'' i said

''amanda can poof you there'' alonzo said

''well then lets poof you home shall we'' she said and smiled and she grabbed some dust.

''now its up to you think about where you wanna go'' amanda said

''green stone'' i said and cameron nodded and she threw the dust and i felt a pull and i felt like i was gonna throw up and then i fell on the floor.

''do you feel like throwing up too'' cameron said and gagged

''yes'' i groaned

''are we here'' he said and i looked around and i nodded

''lets go'' i said and we got up and wobbled and finally caught our balance.

''never doing that again'' he said

''agreed'' i said we walked to the pack house and everyone ran out and austin grabbed me

''are you alright!'' he said

''yes'' i said and he checked my whole body.

''austin im fine'' i said and he hugged me.

''cameron'' i heard and i recognized it as my moms voice.

''cameron um this is mom'' i said an he fixed his shirt and smiled.

''you look so handsome'' mom said and smiled and he gave her a hug and i layed my head on austin's shoulder.

''how did you get here'' austin said

''that is one long story that i am too exhausted and i need to be up early tomorrow cause i have to go back to canada for a case'' i said

''no your not you just got here and the last time you went over there you were taken chloe'' he said

''we were just gone for a few days'' i said

''where the hell is gracie'' i said

''where is she'' cameron said and started to get worried.

''she went missing the same day you did she linked me saying she didn't know where she was'' austin said
