Chapter One

It was late at night, the kids was upstairs in bed while the Order of the Phoenix was surrounding the Daily Prophet, reading the article, Arthur had an arm wrapped around Molly while reading the article. Alice looked at Mad-eye and asks "How are we going to get the cure? Its hidden!" Mad-eye rolls his eye as he crosses his arms, pointing out "I think we know that, Longbottom" Pandora looks at Lily, whose arm was wrapped around Lily's waist as she whispers "It'll be okay Lils, we somewhat got it under control" Lily nods as Kingsley explains "We can make an antidote with the Wolfsbane flower but it only lasts for at least five years, we need the fungi to make the real cure" James looks around, his eyes settling on Kingsley then back at Remus and Sirius, asking "Where is this fungi?" Mad-eye shrugs his shoulders as he mentions, his tone still as gruff as always "Unknown, the last people to go find it ended up getting themselves bitten." Mad-eye was talking about Molly's brothers, Fabian and Gideon Prewett, who both got infected trying to find the fungi.

Bill sighs as he asks "This isn't going to get any easier, is it?" The others shake their heads as Alice glanced at Frank, explaining "We should send one of us out at a time to try and find the fungi," then she adds on "That could be a start, right?" Frank nods as he asks "But who will go? We cant go alone, the chances of one of us being bitten is a fifty percent chance!" James nods in agreement as he points out "I can agree with Frank, there is a fifty percent chance of one of us getting bitten, but then there is another fifty percent chance we can get the fungi and leave unharmed." There was a slight tensed silence, that felt like it could be cut through with a sica. The tense silence was broken when Mad-eye scoffed, his tone full of hatred, disgust and sounding low "I'm guessing the ministry won't do fuck all, they never do, they always leave it to us." Regulus shrugs as he spoke, his tone making it sound like a question, "How long are we stuck in here until we can go out again?"

The others shrug as they look at one another, they have been in the bunker for over five weeks, only leaving for food. The ministry put a strict curfew for the whole country since the outbreak started, you can only leave your bunker at 6.A.M. and you have to be back to it by 6.P.M or you will be arrested or worse, killed on the spot. The order has been cautious ever since. They didn't know when the curfew will be lifted, and worse, they didn't know when the outbreak would end. They felt trapped, helpless, clueless. They have had no communication with the outside world for two weeks. They all felt like they was going insane. Slowly, but surely going insane. The kids wanted to help but they were told they was too young, well really, Ginny was the youngest being only sixteen while Everest was the oldest being nineteen. They just knew the adult wanted to keep them safe.

The silence in the bunker was tense, a uncomfortable tense. No one dared to break the silence, all that was heard was the ragged breaths of one another and the crackle of the old radio in the corner, it never worked, there was no way of contacting the outside world. It was like all the internet vanished as soon the outbreak started. The silence was broken as Mad-eye announced "We'll start the search for the fungi tomorrow morning, then the zombies will be less hostile, so we won't get badly hurt." The others murmured and mumbled agreements as Molly asks, her voice shaking a litte "Should we go alone?"

Kingsley shakes his head as he advised "We'll go in groups of four, we can cover more ground then." Remus then adds on "There is also a less chance of us getting hurt if we are in larger groups." Sirius rolls his eyes as he kisses Remus' cheek, mumbling "You always have to be the smart one, moon." James gags playfully as he exclaims "Stop being so lovey-dovey when we are trying to be serious right know!" Sirius smirks as he points out "But i am Sirius"

The others glance at Sirius as Mad-eye grabs the daily prophet and whacking Sirius around the head with it, scolding him, "No time for jokes, Black!" Remus chuckles a little as he turns serious, asking "How are we going to defeat them, its not like we can just go out and kill all of them!"

Kingsley sighs as he implied "Its just a matter of time."
