His birthright was to die, hers was to be the next vessel for Death. Both had no idea what the future held for them. Loki Laufeyson and Freyja Halls have more in common then they realize. Freyja saw the events that almost destroyed the world in 2012 by the Chitauri and once again in 2013 by the dark elves lead by Malekith. When the skies turned dark and she felt a coldness in the air. It felt like death was coating the Earth on both occasions, but then suddenly it was gone. The Avengers had defeated the Chitauri and the Mighty Thor had saved them from Malekith, but both times there was something off about the calmness, she could feel that the danger was far from over. Death and war was coming, she just didn't know when the new danger would show its face.

In 2017 Asgard fell and darkness almost took over. Hela, sister of Thor and adopted sister of Loki almost took all the nine realms for herself. Slaughtering the Warriors Three: Fandral , Hogun, and Volstagg, along with any other Asgardens, Freyja could feel all the sorrow, all the death that was taking place and the darkness that awaited Earth with the evil Hela wasn't stopped. Once again the mighty Thor and his company have defeated Hela, but Asgard was lost and those who survived Hela's reign are now heading to Earth. It's then the Freyja sees him, the one who was meant to die, and it's through meeting Loki Laufeyson the she feels warmth for the first time. But darkness is still coming. Freyja still feels the upcoming death that will wash over the Earth. Both Loki's and Freyja's birthrights might end up coming true, his to die and hers to become death.
