Minhyun watched as his friend looked around the different stacks of clothes. His friend had been planning this event for months,but things didn't go as he planned.He seemed a bit bothered but really determined to find something.

"Um...Baekho?"

"Mm?" Baekho responded keeping his eyes on the clothes still.

"I told you, it doesn't have to be something special. We all know that anything Minki wears looks good on him."

"Yeah but I want to get him something cool...and special.."

Minhyun rolled his eyes and began looking through the clothes as well.

"What did you get him?" Baekho asked glancing at his friend.

"Baekho, for the hundredth time,  I'm not telling you." the other answered as he looked through the clothes with a smile. He'd seem proud and jolly ever since he had came home alone from his 'Ren Birthday Present Shopping' day empty handed.

"Why?!" the male whined.

"Dude, it's a surprise, you'll see it when Minki and the others see it tomorrow." Minhyun chuckled.

"Wae? Why don't you just tell me? I'm your best friend!"

Minhyun rolled his eyes.

"Ren's your best friend, my best friend is Aron."

"Ouch. You cut me deep Hyun..you cut me real deep just now."

Minhyun chuckled and shook his head still looking around for something Baekho might find 'special' enough for their friend Ren.

Baekho, seeing he would not get an answer, sighed and turned back around mumbling how mean and an un-helpful person his friend was.

"Ah, how about this?!" Baekho exclaimed happily as he showed two identical shirts he found on a rack after 3 stores.

"Couple shirts? YAH, you and Ren aren't even a couple." The other chuckled.

Baekho frowned.

"So? We're best friends." he said proudly.

Minhyun shook his head.

"Do what you like...This guy seriously..."

The day ended up with Minhyun leaving a very tired Baekho at an Aunty Ann's, still trying to figure out what he should buy. Minhyun would've stayed longer, but he had things to do and Baekho just wouldn't cooperate.

The male sighed deeply. What could, and should, he get Ren? He knew Ren more than anyone. So why was it hard to figure out something while Minhyun seemed so confident about his gift. He knew Aron and JR already had something too so...what should he get him?

Baekho looked at his phone. He looked through his Twitter dash before going on stalking Ren's.

"Oh!" He exclaimed scaring some of the few shoppers around him.

"This is great!" He quickly took his jacket and ran into a nearby cybercafé.

Ren's birthday came and as planned he was out until everything was ready. His four hyung's prepared the apartment hoping Ren would like the effort that was made. And he did.

As soon as the boy came inside the apartment, the members all jumped out of their hiding spot screaming "Happy birthday princess Ren!" , which was all Aron's idea to be honest.

Ren's eyes were filled with tears of joy and he quickly went to hug his elders.

"Thank you guys...I can't believe this!  Oh my gosh.." he kept repeating as he looked around at the decorated apartment.

"No problem." Aron said in English giving his dongseang a hug.

"Happy birthday Rennie~" Jonghyun,a.k.a JR smiled brightly.

"Yep." Minhyun came close and helped Ren to put his party hat on.

"Thanks so much."

After the beautiful Lady Gaga birthday cake,  which the birthday boy felt pained to cut after taking zillions of pictures of it, came 'present opening' time. And Baekho, who's been nervous all day, couldn't help from sweating. They first began with JR. The leader had bought Ren a really pretty (and swaggy as he would say) LadyGaga cap. The lady gaga written in gold. Of course, Ren loved it.

"Thank you hyung, kya!" He squealed as he wore the hat trying to act cool making the others laugh.

Then Aron making weird faces at JR like,'That's it bro?' handed Ren a wrapped present. Ren, now really exited, grabbed the wrapped material from Aron and carefully ripped the wrapper off. His eyes went wide as soon as he saw a part of the item. It was two of his favorite American albums. LadyGaga's first album and Michael Jackson's Evolution album. Baekho frowned. Why hadn't he thought of something so simple?!

Ren looked at the two albums happily and hugged them.

"Thank you so much! Hyung, oh wow."

"No problem kiddo~"

Then came Minhyun's "Krrr..."

Everyone turned their head to the tall boy who was shaking his head while smirking.

Baekho frowned and the others chuckled.

"Here Ren. Take this."

Minhyun said handing Ren a small envelope.

"Tch, money? Lame." Aron chuckled.

Minhyun didn't answer but kept looking at Ren.

What came after Ren openned the envelop was a weird alien sounding language mixed with fan girl- , well, fanboying and jumping around until smirking Minhyun  was huggled and kissed.

"No freaking way..." Baekho thought out loud.

"I cant believe this! How did you know!? I mean kyaaah!!"

Ren said looking at Minhyun in disbelief as he held a ticket in his hand the others tried to look at it.

Minhyun grinned.

"I saw your twitter posts and what you retweeted about Lady Gaga having a concert in Seoul. So then I thought I should get it for you since it seemed like you didn't have enough money for it."

"So you got him a concert ticket?!" JR gasped.

Minhyun nodded.

"Well played." Aron winked admitting Minhyun's wit.

Baekho wanted to melt on the spot and disappear. His present was so lame compared to everyone else's.

"Thank you so much Minhyun. Really." Ren hugged his friend one more time and smiled. Minhyun pecked his cheek and winked.

"No problem Minki."

Then everyone turned to Baekho. Baekho could feel his palms getting sweaty. He gulped and couldn't help but to feel a weird churning in his stomach as he watched Ren smiling at him with expectation. Damn was he nervous.

"Yah! Snap out of it Baekho!" Aron snapped his fingers making the other snap out of his daze.

"Oh, here." Baekho took the shopping bag, hand shaking, and handed it over to Ren.

"Thanks." Ren smiled exited to see the content. Baekho looked down and soon heard shuffling followed by a soft chuckle. Music to his ear.

"Oh oh oh, what do we have here? " Baekho heard Aron say cheekily.

"You actually got him that?" Minhyun whispered in Baekho's ear.

Baekho only nodded feeling himself blush.

"Baekho...?"

Baekho's heart began to race. He was way embarrassed.

"Sorry, I- I need to pee."

He quickly got up and ran into his room. he closed the door and leaned on the door for support. He felt feverish. He took a deep breath and went to lay on his bed.

He felt stupid.  But also very confused, and embarassed and just.. Ugh. Why did he get those stupid shirts? Ugh. He really wanted to jump in a hole now. Hopefully the members wouldn't notice that he hadn't actually in the bathroom, but that he was instead lingering in his room feeling miserable.

He was brought back to life when he felt someone next to him.

He sighed and looked up to see who was there.

Ren smiled at him. A glint of worry in his eyes.

"You're okay?"

No. He wanted to say. But he only nodded and sat up placing an awkward smile on his face. He watched the couple shirts Ren held in his hands.

"This is really cute. Thank you." Ren smiled and went to hug his friend who felt his body temperature rise. He really wondered if he should go see a cardiologist. Something was definitely wrong with his heart. Baekho felt Ren let go and looked back at him. He looked down and fiddled with his fingers.

"I'm sorry.. About the lame gift..I would understand if you didn't like it."

Ren looked at him amused.

"Are you kidding me? It's the cutest thing!  Very stylish for a couple shirt too. Actually...I think it's the sweetest gift anyone ever gave me...Do you think you would fit in one of these muscle man?"

Baekho chuckled and then frowned.

"Huh?"

Ren chuckled softly. Baekho saw a glint of pink on his cheeks. Ren handed Baekho a rectangular small piece of paper.

"The Lady Gaga ticket? " Baekho frowned confused.

"Mhm, Minhyun got two of them and... I... I wanted you to go with me...if you would like to I mean. "

"Shouldn't you take Minhyun? Or wouldn't you rather go with someone else who's into Gaga?"

"Minhyun doesn't really like Gaga and... The others are busy."

Baekho watched Ren look down and smiling shyly. He always wanted to protect him when he looked like that.

"I'll go. " he smiled.

"Really?!" Ren beamed his eyes shining.

Baekho nodded.

"Yay! Then which shirt will you wear?!"

"Which shirt?"

Ren rolled his eyes and lightly hit the other on the shoulder. Baekho could be so slow sometimes.

"Yeah, out of the two couple shirts."

Baekho was confused and felt himself blushing.

"B-But we aren't a c-couple, I mean-"

Ren and Baekho both blushed even more. Both of them wondered what it would be like to be in a relationship. A couple.

"Y-Yeah but we're best friends. That counts." Ren answered followed by a bit of mumbling.

Baekho smirked. He had told Minhyun the same thing. He unconsciously took Ren's hand and smiled.

"You choose which you'll wear and I'll wear the other OK? "

Ren nodded and quickly took away his hand. He didn't understand the electrifying feeling he'd just had when Baekho touched him.

Baekho looked a bit hurt.

An awkward atmosphere filled the air.

"Sorry...U-uh electricity" Ren half-lied.

"It's.. OK."

Ren felt terrible. Well, he just had to try this out. It was now or never. He cupped Baekho's face who was looking down and brang it up so they faced each other in the eyes.

Baekho looked at him confused. He was bigger than Ren but felt himself getting smaller. Little. Ren's face was getting closer. His heart began to race and his breath hitched. Ren then grabbed Baekho's shirt and pulled him so their lips crashed against each other.

Both felt their stomach churn in a strange way. Ren pulled out a bit embarrassed. Baekho looked at Ren astonished. Not just because of the kiss but the strength Ren had as well. It always surprised him.

"You know what would be the greatest present? " Ren said almost a mumble.

Baekho raised an eyebrow and shook his head.

"I mean,  I'm sorry Baekho I-" Ren said when he realised what he was saying to his bestfriend

Baekho thought his heart stopped beating for a while. He smiled goofyly and intertwined his fingers with Ren who looked at him with puppy eyes.

"Ren, I like you...Like a lot. Would you agree be my boyfriend? "

Ren had to do a double take.

"..Huh? Are you foreal?"

Baekho chuckled and rolled his eyes.

"Go. Out. With. Me."

"Y-Yes!  I will ! " he beamed huggling Baekho unto the bed as they began kissing each other shyly.

Behind the door a tall figure grinned.

"I knew it." he chuckled.

"Minhyun! I'll eat your cake!" Aron called out from the living room.

"Yah!  Don't!" Minhyun frowned running to Aron before he engulfed his piece of cake.

JR shook his head watching the two others fight.  He sighed wondering when the two love birds would come out the bedroom. And if Baekho and Ren knew how loud they'd just confessed to each other.
