to watch for a fish knowing

that you will find it

To the heron who fishes on the north shore of the Holy Island of Lindisfarne, and on the rocky causeway that leads to St Cuthbert's Island when the tide comes in. 

You will see him standing on one leg, leaning with the grace and skill of a ballet dancer working at the bar. The fish are caught almost too fast to see. 

He teaches ornithologists, poets and pilgrims, what? 

Patience? 

Focus? 

The relevance of diligence? 

Constant vigilance? 

The necessity of Belief.
