(Part 2 of high school shenanigans)

Artemis' P.O.V
I was just about to use the best insult ever on Wally. The best come back of all comebacks. I thought of it a week ago, and have just been biding my time for the perfect moment to completely obliterate the idiot ginger. But my plans were spoiled when Kaulder interrupted our argument, telling us to 'simmer down', and to not give Dick a 'bad impression'. If it was anyone else I would have told them to mind their own business and continue arguing, but that guy despite being very calm, can be very scary.

Quickly Wally and I sat back down and ate the rest of our lunch in silence. Just as I am finishing my lunch, I look up and see Zatanna. Like always I get trapped inside the fish net in her beautiful ocean eyes. I just can't look away, it's like she is a witch who has cast a spell on me.
"Okay guys, I have got to head off to drama class early. I forgot to return some props yesterday and I would rather not have my teacher angry at me." Zatanna says with a charming smile. Then she turns her attention to me, "Arty? Are you okay, you look distracted... a little flushed. Are you coming down with something?"
I panic slightly, which most definitely didn't help with my blushing. Quickly I think up a response, "Uhhh. I prob- eh, maybe I might. I'm not...". Wow real smooth Artemis, way to 'impress the girl'. How did I even manage to become friends with this girl when I act like this!!!!!
"Oh, well I hope you feel better soon. Make sure to get some rest, don't over do it in gym class today." She says in a demanding voice, yet it is somewhat laced with concern.
"Yup, will do! Or not... I will DO what you said, and I will NOT over do it." I say with an awkward smile. Then she grabs her bag, and hurries off down the hall to the auditorium. I really am one useless lesbian...
And that statement was confirmed outside my head when a familiar voice states in an impressed sounding voice, "Danggggg girl! You really do have it bad! Like Kaulder just told me, but wow!" I look towards the person who said that to see our new ebony friend. Great, now even Kaulder is spreading the news like some kinda gossipy goldfish.
Suddenly I hear Baywatch laughing, then he says, "OH YEAH!!! We are so keeping this one. I so need a companion to make fun of you with!!!"
"Shut it, Baywatch! You too rich boy! And really, Kaulder???? Why???????" I vent at both of them. Kaulder laughs and puts his hands up in defence.
"Soooooo~ You have gym class next?" Dick asks me.
"Yeah, what about it?"
"Well I do too!!! Which is great, because we get to have a class together... and I want to talk to you about something." He says the last bit in a more hushed tone.

Dick's P.O.V

Once I was done changing into my gym clothes I hurried into the gym.  I really wanted talk to Artemis before the start of class, but annoyingly she took her time.

Soon enough she comes out and our gym teacher tells us to do some laps to warm up.  I do my best to fall in step with Arty, but damn that girl is fit!  Anyways it's time for me to unleash my plan and help a poor lesbian out...  even if it helps my own agenda more. 
"Yo Artemis, slow down!!!  I have a plan that I think you'll be very whelmed to hear." I say as a come up behind her.  She slows her pace and looks at me confused.
"Okay...  what kind of plan?" She states intrigued.
"One where you get the girl, and I get the guy!"
"Oh.  Rich kids already found a love interest has he?"
"Yup!!!  Now are you interested or what?" I say in my best 'suspicious' voice.  If she doesn't agree to this, I have no clue how I am going to go about getting Wally as my boyfriend! 

She looks around, and there's a look in her eye, like she's lost in thought.  Finally she purses her lips and looks down at me, then she nods nervously.
"Okay.  I'm down.  Honestly Megan's plan was horrible, so this is my only shot.  Please...  tell me you have this thought through!" She pleads.  Wow she must really like Zatanna to be acting this nervous by just talking about her.
"Don't worry, I'm great at thinking things through!!!" I laugh, then begin explaining my plan to Artemis.

I DID NOT THINK THIS THROUGH!!!!!!!! There was a plan. A clear detailed plan... There was only one problem, Arty and I... forgot to put into count that Wally and Zatanna are bisexual...  see this brilliant plan I came up with failed because when Artemis flirted with Wally to make Zatanna jealous he was into it, and things are now awkward...

Wally is...  currently confused why the girl who just hit on him, is now literally hitting him...  Also Zatanna did get a little angry but... she just assumed that meant Artemis was straight and asked me to homecoming.  Now we're in quite the kerfuffle.  Luckily homecoming is tomorrow night, (which for some reason no one told me till Zatanna asked me to it!!) so now I've devised an even better plan to swicharoo Arty and I's dates at homecoming!!!

Sorry guy for the slowness of the update...  told ya I would forget!!!  I've got the mind of a goldfish and the schedule of a busy bee!!! 😂. Hope you guys enjoyed this chapter (hope you like my little throw in of the cannon-ish ships).  There will be a part 3 to this, mostly because I (like Robin in the end of this chapter) must devise what his homecoming plan is!  Feel free to comment some ideas to get my creative juices flowing!!!!
