Wally West frowned as he walked through the hallways of his high school. Ever since he had officially come out and said that he was dating a boy, things weren't exactly the same.

At one point, he was considered a funny nice kid, but now, people seemed to be avoiding him. Bullies would shove him around, call him names, make fun of his boyfriend- who they didn't even know... It was getting rather tiresome...

The only good thing that Wally had to look forward to was that him and Dick were meeting up after school. They both had agreed to hang out in Central, so Dick would practically be there the second Wally stepped out of class.

"Get out of the way, fag." Wally was shoved against the metal lockers with a loud clang. He let out a sigh. All he had to do was survive one day of school.

The school day seemed to last forever. And the tormenting seemed to be so much worse today than any other day. Couldn't he just have some peace?

Wally's phone buzzed in his pocket as a text message was received.

Dick <3 :

Running a bit late. Sry. Be there in a few min.

As much as Wally couldn't wait to see Dick, he could wait. He couldn't blame his boyfriend for being just a little late. Especially since he was coming from Gotham and all (sure the zeta tubes helped, but still).

Its okay, I'll be waiting inside.

Wally found a small empty bench and sat on it, swinging his legs slightly. Time to wait.

Dick Grayson looked around as he finally entered the high school in which Wally attended. Sure, it was no "Gotham Academy", but it was still a nicely built school.

As Dick walked around, he couldn't help but noticed the eyes glancing in his direction and the hushed whispers.

"Holy..."

"Is that Dick Grayson?"

"What is he doing here?"

"I thought he lived in Gotham."

The teen did his best to ignore the whispers and instead look for his boyfriend, but that ultimately failed when an armed draped itself around his shoulders.

"Dick Grayson,"A blonde female smiled. The Boy Wonder did his best to detach himself from her,"Are you going to be attending school here? Can I give you a tour? We can become friends! Do you need my phone number?"

The blonde girl seemed to start something as other students approached him, they too asking many questions.

"It's so great to meet you!"

"Not to be upfront, but are you single?"

"Why are you here?"

Dick groaned loudly as he pushed his way through the crowds,"Please, I'm only here to pick up a friend."

"Is this friend a girl?"

"Is she your girlfriend?"

The ebony just couldn't catch a break. Fortunately for him, he picked up his speed, which aided in leaving the crowd behind him.

Eventually, after a minute of walking, he saw what he had come for. On a small bench, was Wally West, seemingly playing a game on his smartphone.

Dick simply sat next to his boyfriend, and looked down at his phone.

"Slither.io?"

The ginger jumped slightly, turning his phone off,"Hey, you're here!"

Before they could continue a few more students approached them. A brunette began to speak,"West, can you not bother Dick Grayson? He's an important person and I'm sure he has better things to do than to be bothered by you. Isn't that right?" She smiled at Dick as if she were doing him a favor. There were several other females behind her who were nodding in agreement.

Dick, on the other hand, was beginning to grow extremely upset. First, he was crowded and practically interrogated by lots of students. Now, one of these students was insulting his boyfriend. It was extremely aggravating to say in the least.

"Actually, quite the opposite." Dick grabbed his Wally's freckled face and pulled him into a short, yet sentimental kiss,"I'm perfect right here."

The mood seemed to change within the hallways as everyone processed what had just occurred. Wally almost wished he had a camera so he could take a picture of the surprised look on everyone's faces.

Wally smiled and wrapped an arm around Dick,"So, what are the plans for today, babe?"

Dick leaned his head on the others shoulder,"First, we get out of here."

"I-I... I'm sorry..." The female students walked away, obviously embarrassed and upset.

Long story short, the whispers and bullying that Wally had once experienced were long gone. Well, there were still whispers, but they were more along the lines of:

"You know he's dating a famous person, right?"

And

"Omg, I wish I was him. He's dating freaking Dick Grayson!"

And that much, Wally could live with.
