This is set in Season 2 after the Mountain exploded :/ kind of forgot what happened in this season. So please correct me if I mess up.

Dick groaned as he sat up in the Medical Wing, beginning to recall the past events. The mountain had exploded. The base that the team had known and loved for years was gone... but it had to be done. It was the only way to make Kaldur seem as if he truly was loyal.

"You idiot." Dick turned immediately to see that Wally had been sitting there. He hasn't seen his best friend in a while after he got with Artemis, Dick choosing to close all ties due to Dicks past crush on the ginger.

"Was it really necessary?"Wally stood up, continuing his spiel," The Mountain is completely destroyed, obliterated. All for what?"

Dick lowered his head,"I was able to retrieve a flash drive from Aqualad, containing important information. It had to be done."

Wally glared back,"You lost three members of your team!"

"And we'll get them back! When we save Lagoon boy."

Wally turned away,"I can't believe you."

"Look, I'm sorry all of your souvenirs are gone!" Dick began to get out of the bed, despite his joints demanding otherwise.

"This isn't about that" The speedsters voice dropped,"Dick, you could have died. The second I heard about the explosion, I panicked, not sure whether you had made it or not."

"What does it matter? Artemis is fine."

"Artemis and I broke up over a month ago."

"Oh.... I didn't know... Then why are you so upset?"" He stopped trying to get off of the bed, and simply sat on the edge.

"Because I didn't love her, Dick." Wally say himself next to him.

Dick froze, unsure of how to respond.

"I broke up with her because I couldn't forget about how much I loved you. Ever since we were young, it was always you and I, I couldn't help myself but fall in love. I just... refused to accept it because I knew you wouldn't like me back in the same way."

Dick didn't respond as he looked up at his friend.

"I know, you don't feel the same way. Why would you? With girls chasing with 24/7, but I have to tell you this Dick. I hate seeing you put yourself in danger, I can't stand seeing girls flirt with you, I really love you Dick Grayson and I have for so long now. I don't know what I did to make you start ignoring me, but I'm so sorry for what happened. Please... just give me a chance."

Dick turned his head away.

"Say something."

"Wally..." Dick let his actions make up for words as he gripped the others face, connecting their lips.

"I'm so sorry."

I kind of forgot this book existed. Whoops. *shrug*
