Alan's pov

I waited and waited, there was still no response. I crane my neck just to see that he was fast asleep. I guess I would stick with Bob, but now I felt weird about it. While trying to get my mind off it I found myself playing with his hair or coat, sometimes my own coat.

Eventually, the bus stopped nearby this huge center. I felt like an ant compared to it, I'm sure Bob would feel the same once he was awake. I tried to get out of the seat but all of his weight was on me, I could barely shove him off even with all my strength. With a huff, I stopped trying to push him off and just shook him with any energy I had left. Instantly he started swinging and there was barely any way I could duck or even block. My stunning face had to take one for the team with Bob's slaps and punches.

"Shit, sorry," Bob mumbles rubbing his eyes as he moved off me and I hopped out of my seat as soon as I felt his weight lifted off me.

"It's fine, as long as I don't get a black eye." I put my hand out for him. "Let's get going now." He grabbed my hand while mumbling and I pulled him up.

"Sorry but you might." He yawns and starts leaning on me as we get off the bus. Thankfully it wasn't as bad as it was sitting together on the bus. "I'll kiss it better for ya though."

Suddenly I was dying, all bystanders stared at me as I was basically coughing up a lung. Bob pat my back with a face masked with worry on one side but the other side was laughing at my ass.

"I was just joking." He states as I stand up breathing normally again. "Anyway, are we there yet?"

"Yeah yeah, just in here...or somewhere in there," I grumble gesturing at the silver center that looked like it was made out of windows that could not be looked through.

"You're hopeless." He sighs before walking ahead and opening one of the doors, I hold it open for him and myself.

Before I can process anything, there is flashing everywhere and bright colors clashing together. And there are so many bodies, I think I was sweating even though we were still near the open door.

"Oh my god, oh my god." Bob is gaping like a fish and his eyes are shining along with everything else in here. "There are superheroes and everything!" he runs forward leaving me behind, it takes me a moment to function and run after him.

Surprisingly he's faster than me for once. I can't seem to keep up, and once I do I'm out of breath by the restrooms. Some guy with a baby and holding hands with a lady give me a weird look when they walk out a family restroom before walking past. I slouch as I shuffle over to a water fountain and drink as much water as I can.

"You look like a dog." a voice says and I glance over, immediately water is sputtering out of my mouth.

Bob turns up his nose at me, his mask even seems to scrunch up with his face. He wore a black mask and his suit was a mix of yellow, black, and dark gray. His cape was either dark gray or black, I couldn't tell. His shoes looked like they were made out of rubber, but I wasn't gonna comment on them any further.

"So, where's your suit?" He asks as I walk over to him.

"Ehh...this thing isn't my style-"

"Boy, you better figure something. I'm not letting you be a loser right next to me in normal clothing." He scoffs glancing around like he didn't want to be seen with me right now.

"Oh, I'm the loser?" I scoff back while taking off my coat to show the superman cape I was wearing.

Bob shook his head like he was disgusted. "This isn't Comic-Con, that's so unoriginal."

"Fuck you, what are you even supposed to be?" I mutter carrying my coat under my arm and soon his and a bag once he slaps me with them.

"Hentai Man." He says wiggling his eyebrows before glancing around with shining eyes again.

"Hen wha-"

"Oh my gosh, there's a signing for Midnight Wafers!!! I gotta get a signing in my forehead or something." He says running off leaving me in the dust again.

"I'm not about to keep chasing after you," I say once I got him by my side again and he stuffs his face with blueberry cotton candy.

We start to walk past some lady in a tight black suit and long white hair. But Bob stops in his tracks gawking at her.

"You better no-"

But he was gone in a flash, getting another signature and takes some pictures with the lady with some cotton candy bits on his face. He skips back to me this time without me having to go after him but still. This place is huge, and I found out it has multiple floors. I could lose his short ass in here and who knows what would happen, some of the people in here look like creeps.

"Sorry." He grins at me as I glare down at him.

Eventually, we figured something out.

"Come on Bob," I say tugging on the leash and he glares at me staying still in a soot two feet away from a book signing. "You don't even have a book with you." I groan as he huffs at me.

"I can buy one, just let me get a signing from Hermi." He says taking large steps to get to the long line, but I yank him back causing him to almost lose his balance and fall. He shoots me a glare over his shoulder. "I'm not your bitch, let me go."

"Fine fine," I say let him go and he falls over.

"You're such an asshole." He grumbles but runs into the line grinning like a maniac.

I shake my head smiling as I lean back against a shelf of disks. He was gonna be in that line for hours I'm sure, but as long as he's happy I suppose. This was not much fun for me, but seeing him happy I guess-

"She ran out of copies!" Bob whines running back to me.

"So, aren't you just going to get an autograph on your stomach again?" I ask and his face goes red.

"From Hermi? That would be disrespectful towards her." He scoffs grabbing my arm and this time drags me along as I laugh.

"Yeah okay, whatever you say." I hum watching him smile as he leads me upstairs to the next level.

"I heard there's a game like laser tag up here or something." He mumbles glancing around like an excited puppy.

"Blue."

His head snaps up. "What, you see it-"

"I think I like you."
